New City Moving Inc

So after searching through multiple companies, I decided on New City for my move in Chicago. The move was so smooth. I barely had to lift a finger or even direct. The guys treated my possessions well and nothing ended up broken or shattered. I loved that I didn't have to direct as much and that they watched the labeling on the boxes on where items should be placed. The move ended up coming in cheaper than originally quoted too, which is always nice. And as for communication, they definitely didn't lack. The main office continued communication with me up until the day of the move and followed through on everything that was planned. Also, the company offers box delivery, which is great if you run out of boxes at the last minute. Highly HIGHLY reccommend, and will be utilizing New City on my next move.

This company is punctual, they work fast and take extreme measures to ensure your items are not damaged..

They were very good. They were very reasonable. Very good. Excellent. They were really good. I had no problems at all. Two people. About three hours to complete. The area was very clean. I really don't think anything that they could work on. I was satisfied with them overall.

It was an excellent experience. The crew was professional, did not damage any items, and worked extremely quickly. They had no problem that both apartments needed to use only the back entrances, and actually were early for the appointment. The main office called to let me know the move before mine went quickly and asked if I would care to move up my time. The actual move ended up taking only half of the time that was quoted in my estimate. The "included plastic wrap and blankets for any items that could've been damaged, and this was done. This is my second move with new city moving and I must say I can't recommend them highly enough. They are very professional and very quick.

They were very careful and took precautions as needed to make sure everything was safely moved without any type of damage to either our personal property or either one of the units we moved out of and in to. Very good experience from the first call to the actual move. They were very professional, called a few days before the move to confirm everything. The movers showed up right on time and did a good job. I will use them again. I liked the fact that you don't have to pay in cash. Total time was 2 hours and I paid for 3 men per hour, travel time and a few supplies. Felt it was a pretty good value

Having gone through 13 moves in my life, I've had my fair share of mover experiences. This was hands down the best moving experience I have ever had! From responsiveness to customer service to efficiency, they were stellar in every area. Would recommend to everyone and anyone!

The movers were 30 minutes early and super efficient! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and they even packed some of our remaining things. We had never hired movers before, but these guys did a great job and I would definitely hire them again. They were not cheap, but they did a wonderful job so if you can fit them into your budget, go for it!!

Best movers in the city of Chicago. Moved a one bedroom apartment one mile away in 2 hours. The move was somewhat last minute so it was great they had availability at the end of the month and New City did a lot of the packing for us (was not as prepared as I should have been). Everyone at the office was helpful in answering our questions. The movers were extremely professional, friendly, helped make the move quick, and took care of everything. Most importantly, nothing was broken! A special thanks to Nick the move leader who helped on November 30, 2016.

Both teams were very professional and courteous. They did an amazing job at wrapping my furniture so it was stored securely. The office staff responded to my initial quote and emails within a few hours. I would highly recommend.

New City was absolutely the best!! I was so sick and dizzy with an inner ear infection when I was trying to help my daughter move into her new apartment. Not only did this crew move all of her belongings safely into her apartment, placing them exactly where she wanted them and putting them together, they helped me in my dizzy state into her apartment and made sure that I too made it safely on the steps! Wow! They first made sure that I was safe and then went about moving an entire truck of my daughter's belongings. Kudos to whomever does the hiring for this company, because you have the best of the best on your team! So attentive and professional. I will definitely call them again when we move her again!
