Nevernest Pest Control

I liked that they gave us a choice about what type of chemicals that they would use. They sprayed once and removed the nest and came back to get any stragglers. They took care of the whole problem and they have not been back.

Quick, professional and reasonably priced. Who could ask for anything more?

The management was very strong. Unfortunately, the originally scheduled technician was very late and ended up hanging up on us when we called to ask about his arrival. On the other hand, his supervisor dealt with the situation and came out himself the next morning to perform the service call.

He was very polite, friendly and nice. He gave me a lot of hints. He went all over the house. They were able to come out the same. I would use them again. I cannot comment on the price because I have not had this work done before and did not get other estimates.

It went ok. the squirrels were removed. It took several visits (about 6) by Nevernest to remove three squirrels. The company seemed somewhat disorganized in its communication, between office and field personnel; and with me and/or my wife. The first few visits were needed to reset traps that became closed without the catch. The same service person never came twice. On one occasion, one service person claimed that the previous service person did not set the traps correctly. We went on vacation for a week during this process and one service person suggested that we leave cages closed during vacation. The office suggested otherwise and had the traps opened. Part of their service is to find and close the opening when the animal entered the house. Squirrels entered my house thru a roof vent. This is very common. First service guy said they would fix the screen on the roof vent when the animals were removed. After they were removed, a service guy came and said he couldn't fix the roof vent because the hood was bent. Hmmm. Why didn't the first service guy say that they would not be able to fix the vent. I think the guy who came to fix the vent didn't want to go up on my roof. Not the best communications.

They were effective in dealing with the problem. But the follow up could be improved.

Came an hour after we called (on a Saturday!) and were great.

They were on time but had zero service guarantees and no follow up.

They saved me from a big problem. A squirrel came through the wall and was running through the house late Sunday afternoon. They came out right away, removed the squirrel family and sanitized. They found the hole that the previous company couldn't find.

We had carpenter ants in our kitchen and outside patio area and spiders in our basement. They quoted us $150 for the visit + ants and $50 for the spiders. We made our appointment just over a week out and they showed up on time and did an initial assessment of the house and job. They laid ant bait in our kitchen and outside patio area and sprayed for spiders in the basement. We were very happy with the experience and we haven't seen any ants or spiders since their visit a couple of weeks ago. They told us subsequent visits would be $50 since we were now "customers".

Overall, the quality of the work seems good and the service was very good. Armando was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He gave me an education and indicated where rats had chewed through wood to gain access and also where possums and skunks had burrowed (who would have thought in Chicago?). The work was neat. The only problem was the price. I think it was a bit high. This was no doubt, influenced by the fact I thought the initial payment of $260 covered everything (probably naive on my part given the amount of work done). It turned out later that I was being charged for each animal pickup, as well as extra for the screening. While I thought the service was good, it was a shock to see the price triple. However, based on the consistent professionalism and courtesy of the company (plus the fact I think I got a lot of value), I suspect the misunderstanding was an accident.

It went okay, but it was expensive and the staff wasn't very punctual. They hire kids set and remove the traps, so they sort of arrive when they want to. They did the job, but if I had it to do over again, I think I'd buy traps at a home improvement store and take care of it myself.

When I call them, they usually come out right away within a few days if they can get it scheduled. They always show up on time and are very clean. I guess they do a good job as our house doesn't have any termites.

Removed squirrels from attic. Came back a second time to check for any returning squirrels and also installed screen to keep out future intruders.

The work that they did for me was very effective and they were able to get rid of the pests for me. They were good about following the procedures and about calling to make sure there were not any further problems. I would call them again if I need them.

Technician arrived right on time, found evidence of ants in our basement, and sprayed there and outside. He also checked for other problems and treated for spiders also.

When I called at 9:20 AM, they said they had wrong number (although I had told them twice). They came at 10:00 AM. Their rep. Ryan pulled out a box, opened it, found he had no instructions, and explained this was a new device. He called to get instructions and after 20 minutes, realized device was for the wrong sex moth!! This was Sat AM. He promised to come 6:30 PM on Monday but never showed up or canceled. Later calling to explain he didn't have the right material so that's why he never came. After several calls, arranged time a week later. He came with new series of glue boxes, stating it would attract moths like crazy. None of them ever worked and moths are still around, completely ignoring boxes. I asked manager to call me on 3 separate days and I never heard from him. I then asked for refund and still never heard. Nevernest? Never again.

At the first visit, the employees set the traps and laid poison. The two men were very courteous and very knowledgeable about rodent behavior and how to eliminate the problem. On the follow up visits, there were only two times when the employees were not right on time. The first time, the man called to indicate he had been delayed and indicated what time he would be there and he arrived at the revised time. I appreciated the call to let me know of the delay. Another time, the rep was 20-30 minutes late, but traffic was bad that evening and understandable. The followup visits were very thorough, always checking for rodent activity and moving traps to discourage the rats from coming back. The final project of sealing up the area through which the rats were entering went well.

They came promptly, but never finished the job. The animal was never trapped and the hole through which it entered and exited was not closed as they promised it would be. They still have a trap sitting in our bushes that, despite several calls over a few weeks, they won't even come back and pick-up. They had three different people look at the job and each contradicted what was said by the others. All in all, very poorly done.

Very well. Company sent representative within 2 hours of telephone call/request. Representative clearly explained everything that he did. It took about 1 hour.

Robert has been great. He answered any questions I have had about rats and did a full assessment of the entire condominium complex. He suggested proofing the patio fences so we can deter the rats from coming back. He and some of his colleagues have been back several times to clean up the rats we caught and to reset the traps. I am not happy that I still have the issue, but it seems to be smart rats avoiding the traps. I hope it will be resolved soon. Overall I have been happy with their work, but there have been a few times where they haven't come over to reset the traps when they said they would, but when I called, they made sure someone came out the next day. I haven't seen the final bill yet, but they gave us a discount for rat proofing twelve units, rather than just mine.

Tthe service was friendly and prompt. It is clear that everyone I dealt with were true experts in their field.

Although we went with a company with a lower estimate, they seemed to have full knowledge and capabilities for pigeon control matters.

Took much longer than expected and charged for each visit to get the job done. Took 5 plus visits to the house. Also question whether traps were placed in the best location to capture the squirrels who were actually in the house, not just squirrels in the vicinity of the house. Although captured a number of squirrels over a 3-4 week period, the squirrel problem persisted throughout. Finally had roofer cover area where squirrels entered the house.
