Marzena Cleaning Service

Well, not so good. First, she was here to early and I wasn't ready to have her here yet. Second, I told her she was only cleaning a 1,250 SF 2-bed, 1-bath house and she brought 3 people. It was definitely a two person job and I know that I got charged for 3 people instead of 2. She told me that the cost would be $80 and charged me $120. her fee was way too high. My old cleaning lady did the entire house herself (which includes another 750 SF finished basement that Marzena did not clean) for $75.00. I will not use her again.

They were able to come on very short notice, I was there when they arrived but I had to leave. They did a great job and everything was in good shape when I got back. It seemed reasonably priced.

They came right when they said they would. Instead of one or two people, four showed up. They were like a tornado. I had them do some challenging things, and they were really good.

It went very well. We are continuing to use them.

They did a good job. There were four of them. They did it in about an hour and a half, so they were insanely fast. I thought I was a little high, but with four of them I guess I got what I paid for.

Calls for an estimate, and later for an appointment, were prompt and courteous. Agnes asked many questions to help make the estimate more precise. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. On the day of the cleaning the cleaners were running late, but we got a call and knew when to expect them. They worked quickly and competently. They finished in less time than the estimate, and we were also charged less. We spoke of the possibility of them coming for regular cleanings during the time of the house sale. We were very satisfied with the work, and gave them a B in quality only because some small corners/areas were not dusted as well as others. Had it not been such a stressful time, I'm sure we would have checked these areas at the time of the cleaning and asked them to make a second dusting. We will call them again when we need a cleaning service.

We've used this company a few times now, and we have been more than pleased each time they came to clean. The first time they cleaned a condo we moved out of, and the next two times, they cleaned our new home. Each time, the house was spotless. We've had to ask other cleaning companies to redo floors or other work, but that was not the case with this company. The ladies are professional and always pleasant. Their rate is fare and they'll negotiate a flat rate for having them clean on a regular basis. They bring their supplies, but have gladly used products I have asked them to sub in. They've never damaged our property. Personal items are always placed back where they originally were. The first time they cleaned our new home, they sent 4 women and finished in 2 hours. Our home is over 5000sq ft with lots of stairs, fireplaces, wainscoting, and railing (5bd, 4ba), so 2 hours impressed us considering how detailed they cleaned. When we asked them to come back to clean two weeks later, they sent 2 women and finished in a little over 3 hours. We had called and begged for someone to come same-day on a Friday and they worked it out. The ladies are so fast and efficient. I almost tried another company with a slightly lower rate to clean the last time, but my husband said he would rather use this company because we know they do a great job.

I've used this company twice and the women are efficient, thorough and friendly. The first time however I was called to be told that they would be an hour late. The second time I had to call to see where they were, a half hour after they were supposed to show up, so so far promptness is not an asset.

They worked very hard and did an excellent job. They even cleaned the tops of paintings on the walls. I was very satisfied, and would hire them again, and hope did they performed as well. No complaints at all.

It went very well. I thought that he would send three but he sent two, and that was fine. They were efficient. One of them accidentally broke a small lamp and they did not tell me. I found it not great that there wasn't a follow up on that. Other than that I liked what they did and how they did it.

They were supposed to come with 2 girls and stay 2 hours; they showed up early today with 3 girls and stayed 2 hours but that increased the price to $120.00. I had asked them to change my linens and make the bed but when they left I went back and looked and they don't know how to make a bed, I had to tear everything off and re-make the bed and they left the vacuum out sitting in the living room and only 1 out of 3 spoke English which made communicating hard. I really felt like I got ripped off. It was just a bad experience. They cleaned areas that were just cleaned last week and I tried to tell them but I just let them go and do what they wanted and marked it as a loss.

I wanted a cleaning service to clean my mother's home. Called Marzena Cleaning Service and they had availability. The price quoted was $20 an hour per person, typically sending 2 people. They bring their own cleaning supplies. Three people arrived on time on the designated day. They washed the floors on their hands and knees, and wiped down the walls, and cleaned the ceiling fans. My mother was very impressed. They finished her 3 bedroom, 1 bath bungalow in an hour and a half and charged $100. Needless to say, we will use them again.

I love this service. I used them once and now they come every other week. They always accommodate my schedule. Each time, 3 or 4 women come to clean. They bring their own cleaning supplies which is a plus, they do a very thorough job and are always on time. The best part is that they are done within 1 1/2 hours. For years I had one person come and clean and it would take 4-5 hours. For exactly the same cost, I now have a service that is fast, reliable and very good.

They cleaned for just over an hour, and did an excellent job. They even dusted the molding, inside cabinets, and cleaned the windows. Highly recommended. The only thing that was a little disconcerting was that when you call their phone number, the person answering does not say Marzena Cleaning Service and so it's a little confusing. Other than that, no complaints.

As you can tell from the above we are pretty satisfied with their services. My only criticism (if you want to call it that) is that they showed up almost an hour early. I mentioned this to Marzena and apologized for the error. Luckily my morning was not typical but normally I would not have been here to let them in. Still I suppose early is better late or never. All in all a great job.

The cleaning ladies cleaned my house quickly and thoroughly. Everything looked just amazing. They also found my gold necklace that means a lot to me. It is my families souvenir that I lost about 6 months ago. I am really grateful to them for finding it. That necklace is priceless to me. I can't imagine having a different cleaning service. The ladies are trustworthy, honest and their cleaning is excellent.

The cleaning crew did a wonderful job. The ladies moved furniture in order to clean under it. They even moved all of my son's toy cars in order to polish the shelf. Great attention to detail. They did an amazing job on our steam shower that was starting to grow mold on the grout. I've never had a cleaning service do as great of a job. I would definitely use their service again.

The cleaning crew of 4 women came in the late afternoon (as requested) and spent about 4 hours cleaning everything. After they called me (I was at a family dinner about 40 minutes away) I came back to do a walk through with them. They stayed onsite to make sure I was satisfied and everything was cleaned very nicely and thoroughly. We have since had some additional cleaning since we moved in at a cost of $105 for just over one hour with the same 4 women. They were very efficient and thorough for this somewhat more routine cleaning.

They arrived early and began work immediately. They took no breaks, and finishes in about 90 minutes.

See description - but I would definitely use them again, the fact that they bring their own supplies is a plus as I haven't found many cleaners in Chicago who will do so (without charging exorbitant rates).

It went great. They said they were going to send two people and instead sent four, but it only took a little over an hour to do basically a spring cleaning in my apartment. I was super happy. They vacuumed all the difficult cat hair up, and even wiped down the outside of the litter boxes. I was impressed with their ability to get the dirt out from behind my furnace in the kitchen. However, it was my first time ever having this done, so I over tipped by a lot. I called to get an estimate on a Saturday, and then played phone tag for about two days. I told them I needed someone after 6 during the week, and they came over on a Saturday instead because of conflicting schedules. They were open to working with my schedule and called back when they said they would.

They were professional, fast, and detailed. They were 2 hours early which was great for us, and had four people on site to clean. They were there 1 hr. 45 mins. and the house was spotless when they left.

Crew of 3 women worked very quickly. Arrived early and brought all their own supplies, everything from mops to garbage bags. Were responsive to my requests for areas that needed special attention. Especially friendly with my 3 young kids. Finished in 2.5 hours and told me they will take less time in the future as they familiarize themselves with the house. Have hired them for regular twice monthly cleaning. $17/hour/person.

4 women cleaned our condo in record time! And not only were they efficient (out of here in roughly 1.5 hours,) they did a GREAT job. The place sparkled and they even fixed a scratch/stain from the fridge that I've tried to remove MANY times over the past 2 years. VERY satisfied with their work, would no doubt call them again.

I called and talked to Agnes on a Tuesday and made an appointment for that same Saturday. They charge by the hour and do not do estimates. I called on Wednesday and left a message to change the appointment. Agnes called within a couple of hours, and we changed it to Friday from 5-7 pm. Marzena called me on Friday at 3:00 pm and asked if they could come at 3:30 pm instead, which was fine with me. A 3-person team arrived at 3:30 pm and began work immediately. They were professional, hardworking, friendly, and courteous. They worked for a full two hours, were thorough, and did a great job. Agnes called the next week to ask me how it went and if I needed additional services. I was happy with their work and level of service, and have been enjoying my nice, clean house. I had hesitated to call a cleaning service-- one person I hired in the past was rude, even commenting on how dirty my house was! Marzena and her crew were understanding and put me ease. I plan to use them again in the future.
