They arrived perfectly in time ( 8:00 am on 01/05 ) Jim and his crew. We went over the job details again and pulled the trigger to start. I removed lots of items and left the basic furnitures in the rooms . All was carefully moved and cover with plastic. Hard wood floor was covered too. Painting process amazingly performed . Precision and attention to details is here. I asked to re touch a couple of things , when they were almost done , and they did it smiling. Is not easy to find precise people like this one. They got my business because of the price and the good reviews. I was happy of the choice. if you can give this guys a chance.

They came out and they were very prompt. They gave us an estimate. They're very good. They did a very nice job. They were very thorough. We're happy with the estimate. It was a two-day job. I would use this provider again in the future.

We recently moved into a new home and called several painters for an estimate for painting a majority of the home. While Lookswell was not the lowest estimate, I was very comfortable with Jim. The initial job took several days but the crew arrived on time every day and Frank stopped by several times to review the progress. They painted the ceiling on the main level and I wanted to replace all the recessed lighting trim. They did this for me and even tighten a couple loose sockets. Their follow up on any issues is excellent as well. There was a crack in the ceiling that was still there after the job was complete which they came back to repair. We regretted not including a small bathroom with blue walls in the initial job so called Lookswell again for this as well. He was very prompt, efficient, and thorough. It looks like a new bathroom. Jim, Frank, and Patty are all very nice and easy to work with. And the crews they send have all been great and leave the home very clean. We don't have much left to paint in the house but will call Lookswell again. I don't bother collecting quotes anymore.

OK. The offer didn't cover "trim". The painter was excellent. They just bait and switch you for an additional day of work. The guy I talked to didn't even show up.

We were extremely pleased with the painting by Lookswell. They did a great job of patching holes and smoothing the walls before painting. We had a lot of trim that needed attention to detail and it looks wonderful. They worked quickly and completed the project on time. They were very responsive to our questions and concerns along the way. The workers were friendly and courteous. The pricing was very competitive, too. We will use Lookswell again in the future and highly recommend the company.

Provider painted exterior garage as agreed. Bad weather delayed the start of the project, but it was completed the first good weather day after that. The job was done professionally, the painter cleaned up after himself and left the property looking great. No complaints, would hire again.

The crew of two worked quickly to patch and paint the bedroom. They communicated well, checking in with us before and after the job. The end result was a beautiful paint job in a fraction of the time it would have taken us to do it--they were done in about 2.5 hours. I was on a very tight timeline--needed the job done within a week of my reach-out to them, and they were able to fit me in, which I appreciated.

I contacted Lookswell and a few other companies to give me a quote on painting my kitchen cabinets. I filled out Lookswell's online form late evening and heard back from them early the next morning. Unlike some of their competition, they wanted to come out and look my kitchen to bid the job. (the other companies just wanted me to send pix...) I appreciated the more personal approach. We set up a time, they came out on a Friday and by Monday afternoon, they had sent me a very competitive quote. We set up the appointment and Fernando showed up on time and ready to work on the day. He carefully covered my wood floors, tape around the cabinets, removed the doors and primed the frames. They even let me pick out three different shades, got samples of the paint and painted it on so that I could see how it looked before I selected the final color. They take the doors into the shop to paint them. I can't tell you how happy I am with how my cabinets look! It's like I have a whole new kitchen - people think I have all new cabinets. I would totally hire them again, for cabinet or any other type of painting!

Victor did a wonderful job! He was punctual, professional, neat, and detail-oriented. I would recommend.

We are very pleased with the job Lookswell did. They got us a detailed estimate in a timely way, and though we had sticker shock from all the bids we got and they weren't the very cheapest bid we got, we got a good feeling from the professional way they did this. Last week Frank said he could have a crew out on Monday to start work and that the job would be finished on Sat. Surprise of surprises (we've been having very bad scheduling experiences with contractors on our new-to-us house, they never show when they say they will) Frank and crew were there bright and early on Monday and every other day this week. They finished today, slightly ahead of schedule. That's a first in our experience. Not only that, but everyone on the team was careful and their painting was very good but speedy. Fernando, who headed up the team through the week, was extremely patient and flexible even when I changed some color choices mid-stream. I never had to ask twice to get the colors I wanted in the place I wanted them to be, or to get some small thing done. We will definitely recommend Lookswell to our friends and contacts.

The service was great. Jim is very responsive and met us for a quote within a few days of reaching out. His crew did the work in a timely manner and we are very happy with the result in every room. They finished earlier than expected and we are very happy about their work product. We are now using to do some other work for us and would use them in the future

I had to have a lot of masonry work done on the house, which required some new wood around the windows. The exterior wood had to be painted as soon as possible, before it got too cold. Jim Scanlan from Lookswell Painting responded within a day and came out right away to give me an estimate and make some suggestions. I gave him a list of what needed to be done, and he got back to me with a written estimate in a couple days. Of the three estimates I solicited, his was the lowest. We went ahead and scheduled the work. As it has been so rainy this past summer. he confirmed the night before. He sent three guys to do the exterior work, so they could complete it as quickly as possible. The workers showed up promptly each morning at 8 and worked until about 4. All the work was completed, both interior and exterior, in 3 days, other than the power washing. After they left, I found a couple things I had missed the first time. One of the workers, Angel, came back and did everything as I requested, including giving one of the doors and some interior woodwork a second coat. Both he and Jim told me if I found anything else, to let them know and they would come back to fix it. I was especially pleased with the hallway wall they repaired. One wall, approximately 5 ft. wide by 9 ft. high, had been mirrored. The mirror came off the wall, taking much of the plaster with it, and damaging the surrounding woodwork and the front door. Angel repaired and painted the wall--which wasn't easy as there were huge globs of adhesive sticking out, and deep gouges in the woodwork and front door. However, when Angel was done, it looked like new. Given all the work that was done, and the quality of the work, I was very happy with the results.

3 units of our building had water damage to their front walls due to an leaking issue. After contacting MANY drywall providers on Angie's List - most of whom never called me back, blew off their scheduled appointments or just never followed up with a quote, I contacted Lookswell. They were able to schedule an appointment a few days after I called, arrived on time and followed up with an estimate 2 days later (and even called to make sure I received it). They were not the cheapest estimate we got, but based on how professional they were before work was scheduled, we felt most comfortable awarding them our business. Our work was scheduled about 3 weeks later and lasted from Wednesday to Saturday as the men made their way through the repairs in each unit. The workers arrived on time each day. They properly covered furniture and floors. And before they left each day they checked in with me to look over the work they had completed and make sure everything was ok. We were very happy with their work and would hire them again.

Lookswell was definitely the right choice. Professional from start to finish. Timely, and did exactly as I wanted. Of course, I used their expertise to be sure what I wanted was good. ;) Quoted quickly, after stopping by to look at job. Scheduled days I wanted them to come out, and even showed up at 7, as I requested. Our painter/drywall expert was amazing. I have never seen a ceiling look so good. The places that looked bad from 15 years of settling, were corrected by him. the tape that was visible in the past were corrected by him. Areas that I did not know needed corrected, were corrected by him. I do not know how he kept the place so clean, but he did. Not a speak of dust of paint anywhere. If you want a very good job done correctly, quickly, professionally, do not hesitate to use Lookswell. Cannot comment on other reviewers mentions of high price. I feel very good about the price I paid, and if I paid a little more, I am ok with that, because the quality was worth it. I feel like I got a deal on the quality of the job.

There was a scheduling mishap that was quickly rectified and the job was back on track soon after the error was discovered. The men who did the job were courteous and professional and their work was impeccable. They sealed the areas where they worked and cleaned the work area at the end of each day. I highly recommend them and will refer them to anyone who is looking for a fine company.

My experience with Lookswell was fantastic from start to finish. Jim was timely with a quote to do the work and thoroughly explained the process of refinishing the doors. Scheduling was convenient and quick. The painter, Alex, arrived exactly as scheduled and was very professional, polite, tidy, and most importantly, an excellent painter. Alex was at our home for 3 days and each day he arrived with a smile, worked hard all day, and left the area clean and neat. I couldn't be happier with the process and the result ... and I would highly recommend Lookswell.

They scheduled an estimate right away and got the job done quickly, which was important because we had a fairly small window of time before our move in. The job was done very well and they offered to come and fix up any details we weren't happy with, but we never had to take them up on it because everything looked great.

From beginning to end everyone I dealt with was professional, efficient, helpful. The estimator understood what I wanted done. The workmen arrived on time all 4 days and worked their full daily schedule. The person overseeing the work was there every day to make sure that everything was going well and kept me in the know as to what was going on; he and the workers answered any questions I had and were quick to address any concerns I had.. The work created a good amount of dust/dirt, but the workers covered everything to keep dust/dirt to a minimum and they cleaned up the area quite well when they were finished.

Excellent quality work. Did more coats if paint than contracted for and even painted a room they said were only going to touch up because they didn't like the way it looked.

The work was absolutely excellent. What I liked best is that they kept everything very clean even while working. From start to finish, a great experience with Jim and Lookswell. The price was a bit on the high end of other estimates I received, but I for us it was worth it.

We had two companies come out and they were both good. They were both fine. They came out when they were supposed to. They made an appointment. They were friendly and professional. That is why we had trouble deciding which one to go with. I don’t think we are going to do it this year though. Their price was not out of line, we just didn’t have an idea how much it was going to cost. The estimate was within the $8000 range. There wasn’t anything that I disliked. I called, they made an appointment, and they came on time and sent me several follow up emails wondering if we are going to go with them or whatever. They have been pretty conscientious. For what they did, it was fine but we didn’t have any work done, so I don’t know what their work is like. Everything they did was fine. He came out, he looked at the house, he made a couple of suggestions and he was pleasant. He returned my call when I called them. I don’t know about the price. He responded right away with email giving me the estimate. He was very professional. If we decide to do it we would probably end up getting another estimate just to see if we can get it a little less than somebody else.
