LaBotz Roofing

The service was great. They did the roofing on my house a year ago. I've known them for almost 20 years, and they were very good I really like them. They had high quality. You wouldn't have to worry about quality issues, and they were responsive to their service warranty.

They did great work. They were outstanding. I use their service a lot. They had the best price. They were awesome. They were respectful of my time, and property. They clean after the job was done. I would rate them AAA.

Richard is professional and stands by his work. All repairs were made according to the estimate. Besides that copper lines are expensive, (not the companies fault!) this project was completed for a reasonable price. I would recommend.

We called several roofing companies in our area for estimates. The majority did not bother to return our calls. Within a day, Labotz returned our call. From the initial call back to us from LaBotz for an estimate, right to the end of the job, they handled everything professionally and promptly. Since the weather was excessively hot, the initial start date had to be changed for the safety of the roofers, but we were kept informed the entire time as to a better start date. Everyone did what was necessary to complete the job, cleaned up nicely with no damage to building or surrounding landscaping. I would highly recommend and am currently satisfied with services performed.

I called LaBotz to request an estimate resulting from storm damage. Rich returned my call and we made an appointment for 10:00 am that Saturday morning. When he had not arrived by 11:00, I called and the lady who answered the phone said she would try to contact him. He finally arrived about 11:30 and said he had not written the appointment down. He then started looking at the damage but spent more time telling me about him being a "born again christian" than talking about the damage. He left and said he would take his figures to the office and have a proposal typed up for me. When complete, he would put it thru my mail slot. I have not heard from him since.

We had 12 different estimates and he was right in the middle. Other contractors said they'd have to sub-contract for the other specialty jobs, but LaBotz said he had workers that would do all that. He never supervised them. They took off my gutters (which were half-round galvanized because it was an older home) and didn't reattach them. They put the shingles on from the top of the roof down and left the 2 to 3 feet of the bottom of the roof with no shingles, only tar paper. We told him we wanted the house roof done first before the garage was started. By the time we got home the next day, the same thing had been done to the garage. The workers did not clean up after themselves except when Mr. LaBotz brought them back to clean up right before he fired them. We picked out our shingles through him. When they came, there were three different lot numbers and they weren't all exact matches.

Prior to our purchase of our home the developer agreed to have the roof resealed. LaBotz Roofing was contracted to perform the work. In the first year the roof leaked. They came out and made a repair. In the second year the roof leaked more extensively. We called LaBotz and were unable to reach them. After engaging another roofer to stop the ongoing leak, LaBotz refused to honor their warranty for the work done originally.

I HAD SET A TIME AND DATE TO DO AN ESTIMATE AND THE REPRESENTATIVE DID NOT SHOW UP AT THE APPOINTED TIME. I NEEDED TO CALL THE COMPANY TO FOLLOW UP. HE APOLOGIZED BUT HE SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST CALLED. NOTE THAT HE WAS VERY PROMPT ABOUT PICKING UP THE MONEY AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE JOB. THE WORKERS LEFT GARBAGE IN A TRASH CASH ON MY PROPERTY. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER TO ASK IF THEY COULD DO THIS OR CART THE DEBRIS OFF SITE. THEY DID A GOOD JOB OF INSTALLING THE SIDING AND INSTALLED IT QUICKLY. IN ADDITION, I ASKED THE SALESMAN SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT ICICLES THAT FORMED ON THE ROOF. THE LABOTZ REPRESENTATIVE GAVE ADVICE AND SEEMED NOT TO BE LOOKING TO RUN UP THE BILL.
