They did a great job

John installed a GAF roof overlay system on my house. Everything was well done, from his estimator, Mike, to his install guys. John was always a phone call away to schedule the work, answer any questions, whatever I needed. He didn't bs me about needing more than I did. He quoted what I needed and didn't try to upsell me on things I didn't need. He's become a trusted provider that I will call again for other needs.

I hired Johnâ s Masonry, Roofing and Construction for several projects that were all completed with excellence! Johnâ s crew did an outstanding job with the replacement of the porch/deck and footings of my 2-story building. After the deck was torn down, we realized that the roof also needed to be replaced. Without missing a beat, Johnâ s roofing crew did a great job replacing the roof. After which, the construction crew returned and did an outstanding job building the porch/deck and replacing the footings. John actually provided additional footings at no extra charge. We added tuck pointing on one side of the building while the porch/deck was underway. Johnâ s masonry crew power washed, cut out and replaced the mortar and bricks on both levels; they also fixed some cracks in the front of the building. The tuck pointing was top notch and honestly made the side of my building look brand new. Johnâ s crew also addressed foundation issues on the side of the building where water seeped in during the heavy rains. All of these projects were completed in a little over a week. Most importantly, each project was done with excellency by skilled workers. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the work and the value for the money. My experience with John was also amazing. He was in constant communication with me throughout the projects and was always available for my questions. Johnâ s crew showed up early each day and were both professional and respectful. I strongly recommend this company. If you are looking for quality roofing, masonry or construction, you need to hire Johnâ s crew immediately! They do amazing work!

I talked to two other contractors before I hired John, and I'm glad I did. John and his crew were prompt, precise, pleasant, and within budget. They did the demo, forming, and finishing of a small loading dock which had disintegrated over 30 years when it was first built. They actually "dressed up" the alley and my neighbors are happy with the huge improvement, I'm an old rehabber and know a good job when it's done: THANKS a million, John!!

We hired Johnâ s Masonry for two other jobs, including a Cedar fence and a patio walkway. They were excellent for all three jobs. Good communication. Timely and expedient. Recommended!

John and his team are nothing less of amazing. Work was great. They cleaned up afterwards. They even took the time to speak to my neighbors to let them know theyâ d be doing work on my home. Overall a great experience.

It is for the business.

I hired Johnâ s to replace the flat roof of the three unit walk-up apartment building. We were overall happy with the job, but communication with the company was somewhat inconsistent. Johnâ s is a smaller, family-owned organization, which is ultimately what we wanted to go with, so spotty communication comes with that territory. Johnâ s has since been quick to address any warranty work, so we are happy that we selected them for the job.

The team did a great job. They started the rooftop pergola project very quickly, only a couple of days after I reached out. They worked on the weekends and even a light rain didn’t stop them. The quality of the work was great and they made tweaks that I requested. I have already and will continue to recommended them. I’ve had a couple of friends that were impressed ask who installed the pergola. Give john or mike a call. They will get it done.

Mike was the first to respond to my HomeAdvisor request, and the first to say he could do all we needed: re-roof our garage, re-tuckpoint the outside, and remove and replace our cement gangway. and back patio. He was great at communicating what they would do, and had competitive prices. I did ask a lot of questions, which can seem annoying, I"m sure, but he rolled with it. The project looks just fantastic. He also suggested other aspects of our old property that needed attention, which I would / will hire them when we have budget for those items. Very fast work, and honest. I feel like he really listened and responded... a rare occurrence with contractors and the like. He was also gracious with our timing of final payment... which was delayed because of our being out of town on Spring Break. Highly recommend these guys. I've already recommended them to my hairdresser....

John and Mike provided a same day consultation for an urgent issue caused by a poorly constructed and aging back deck. Their rates were competitive, and the quality of their work is impeccable. They excellently communicated the problems and their proposed solutions, but most impressive of all was the speed with which the project was completed. My family was in awe of the quality work delivered in such a timely manner. I highly recommend this company, and will absolutely hire them again for the next project!

John and Mike impressed me, coordinating multiple projects at a competitive price. The work was planned and executed by an experienced team who worked continuously through the days until completion, resulting in construction of higher quality and durability than the original. Customer service was great; any hiccups were avoided with a quickly-answered phone call and frequent on-site visits and supervision. These guys work hard at a good price and I will rely on them again.

Do not hire these guys. They are quick to make a sale and not follow through with the job. Our place was supposed to be waterproofed yet it still leaks after work. We overpaid as well. The witk team was not on the same page as the people who sold the job. There was a huge lack of communication with what was supposed to get done. No one offered to fix the leaks just try to sell us a remodel package. Use another company.

Mike and John did a stellar job on this project, which was more complicated than average. I began seeing ceiling leaking after a solar panel installation (by another company) and discovered I needed a tear off. The solar company dragged their feet on getting the panels removed, but in the meantime, Mike had his team tarp the roof to stop the leaking. Mike's team ended up removing the panels themselves and completing the work, including carpentry and masonry, in just over a week. The new roof and gutters look beautiful. They have a complete team including electricians and HVAC techs who were able to oversee the proper care of A/C units on the roof. Mike and John were very communicative and responsive throughout the project and set my mind at ease that work was being done properly. I solicited five quotes in total for the job. Mike and John did not come in the lowest, but were very reasonable and provided good value. There were much higher quotes offering inferior products and less rigorous processes (less membrane overlap, no new gutters, etc). Mike was also very communicative about the few follow ups we had. I hope to work with Mike and his team again in the near future. Highly recommend.

Rip off. Avoid at all cost. Like dealing with a used car salesman. They oversell and underdeliver. The work is for the most part shoddy and unsafe.

They were quick to respond to the home advisor's request and scheduled a visit to provide a proposal. Was great in providing options as well as quotes for neighbors. Communication was a bit spotty at times thru the process. They worked efficiently finishing the project quickly and left the site clean of any debris. Overall I had a good experience.

John & Mike showed up within a day of calling and were able to schedule the work for a week later. The crew was here for 2 days and installed a gorgeous patio and flower bed in my backyard and a retaining wall and flower bed in the front. I highly recommend them.

Did great work to start, despite not always showing up on time. But, when cracks appeared almost instantly after work was done and paid for I was ghosted. Once paid, they were not answering calls.

John and Mike are exceptional at what they do. Great customer service, prices are awesome and there work is top notch!! My building looks like new!! I recommend Johns Masonry Roofing and construction before any other company!! Thanks again guys for caring for my building like it was yours!!
