We had a roof leak, we called a different roofer that wouldn't even go on to our roof but instead looked in our house. Then John's masonry was on top of my roof in less then half an hour after I reached out to them. They where shoveling snow and even found more issues that where not known. They where able to repair and replace our roof within a week and we where very satisfied with the quality and customer service they provided.

John's Masonry, Roofing & Construction has done multiple projects for me. They did excellent work on every job. I was very happy with the quality of Michaels craftsmanship.

Updated - John was so communicative throughout the entire process! He was transparent about the problems we had and listened to all of my questions and concerns. The works is high quality, and the guarantee made his estimate stand out above all others. We are left with a shiny new roof, leak-proof bricks, AND peace of mind. The customer service is great - there was some debris left over, and John offered to come out and remove it himsefl! I can't recommend this company enough and have already told our neighbors to use them. Will definitely hire again for any future work needed.

John's may not be the cheapest contractor out there but the craftsmanship is solid and the honesty is much appreciated. He goes the extra mile to communicate and explain the issues and solution, uses high quality materials for repair (based on my own research), and worked with me to get the most done within our budget.

I would highly recommend John's Masonry for your tuckpointing and masonry needs. The customer service went above and beyond my expectations. Overall, the experience was quite exceptional -- response time, communication, quality of work, value, etc. were top-notch. I'm taking a half point for a minor clean-up issue. I say above and beyond for a couple of reasons: one, John's availability throughout the process was quite remarkable, even going so far as to try to apologize for the weather! Secondly, as John arrived to pick up his check, I had another completely unrelated issue going on at my house, and both he and his son Mike stayed to help fix it. I look forward to reengaging John's Masonry for my future masonry and construction needs.

We are very satisfied! Our building is 4 story condo. We had a few units that had water leaks and needed tuckpointing and masonry sealing to be done. John came in and gave us a competitive and comprehensive quote. The workers arrived when they said that they would and performed their work very efficiently. Quality of work is very good - we have no leaks and warranty as well! John kept us informed through out the process and was available to be reached any time we needed. John and his team were incredibly helpful repairing water damaged boards in the windows that lead to our deck. They provided helpful communication, were prompt and did work that exceeded my expectations. They actually allowed me to help so I can make the repairs myself in the future.

John did tuckpointing work on our third floor bay windows to address leakages coming through our cracked limestone facade and rusted out lentil. John was very responsive and available throughout the process to keep me informed of what was happening on the project, he made his team available for a rush job and they worked quickly, and most importantly the quality of the work addressed our leakage issues. The cost was also very much in line with the competition. I would use John's Masonry again to address any other stone or tuckpointing needs in the future and highly recommend.

John came very quickly & assessed the repair needed for my outside bar top. The work was done in a professional manner. John returned to my home to fix a minor repair without question. Very reliable.

I was very satisfied with the outcome of this project. I filled out a request for estimate through home advisor on Saturday, June 3rd. The owner came out the next day and started work a few days later. Work was completed ahead of schedule. The workers were curtious and respectful. Cleaned up at end of each day, which was great because I was concerned about inconveniencing the neighbors. Start to finish 3 days and my house is no longer an eyesore. Very professional, I would definitely use him again.

I filled our a request through Home Advisor for a patio quote and promptly received a call from John's Masonry. Within 24 hours, they came to my home, gave me a fair & reasonable quote and put me on the schedule. After 3 1/2 days of work, I had a beautiful paved patio that came in at budget. We couldn't be more pleased. The work was finished quickly AND with great quality. All of the men who worked on our project were professional and helpful. Finally, our garage was used to store brick, sand and dirt but upon finishing the job, our garage was fully swept out and clean (better than when they arrived). We had a great experience.

Update: AVOID! After soliciting the following favorable review, Johns failed, despite many promises, to return to repair the gate damaged during installation of my patio. And, despite countless requests and promises, Johns has failed to return my garage access remote. Keep it, Johns, since I’ve now had to replace the system. Original review: The project was to replace the concrete pavers in my backyard with brick and build a retaining wall for planting. John's was fast, friendly, and well-priced. The project ran into some unforeseen snags with a difficult tree stump and roots, and some decisions on materials had to be made on the fly. John's tackled the problems with enthusiasm and finished the project with high quality work. I was satisfied and I would use them again.

It was great to work with John and his crew. John came by on a Saturday to give me a free estimate and was very friendly. We agreed to a fair price for redoing my 2 patios where the pavers buckled due to a large tree root. He and the crew came back a few days later weather permitting. The crew worked hard to dig out the root, then leveled the area, replaced the pavers and then power washed both patios. They did a great job. Well worth the money and now I have a beautiful outdoor space, it will definitely help in selling my place. Thanks again John and crew!
