John's Computer Tune-up

I have had more than 5 people try to improve the wireless connection in the 1920 year old building where my home office is located. John had a variety of suggestions, was very thoughtful and creative in how to reconfigure the wireless set up. He was the only person who did not say "oh, old building you can't get wireless into certain parts of your apartment". He has created a wireless network that works throughout my old apartment unit. In addition, he helped me transition from a 5 year old laptop to a new one. I am an aging baby boomer--the transition to a new computer is somewhat traumatic. John was very calm, explained everything to me and I feel quite comfortable with my new laptop. He is always on time for on-site and very responsive to email questions. His remote-in service is also fantastic. He gets my absolute highest recommendation. You won't regret working with him!

Left John an email and he replied within an hour. Very friendly and professional. He explained his services and time frame. John cleaned up old files that had been in my computer for years. I had bought an external hard drive that sat in my desk collecting dust. He backed up years of pictures, music and documents for me. He discovered over 1300 malware files in my computer which is why my computer was running so slow. I almost bought a new computer if it wasn't for John. As this was happening i could see everything that John was doing right from my computer screen from home. He would call and keep me up to date on what he was doing ,and ask me if i wanted to keep add or delete anything during the course of the process He made suggestions on what i needed and downloaded software that scans for viruses and malware. Now my computer runs better than ever John did a fantastic job!!! Thanks again John! Highly recommend him....

Thank you John for servicing my computer! This was so easy and stress-free...not two adjectives I normally use when talking about technological problems. I appreciated the thorough explanations and break downs of various options to further increase my computer speed, and offer to waive a service fee if I end up pursuing them.

Worked remotely and was unable to repair due to the lack of availability of the driver software. He tried every means possible to obtain the software. Di advise where I might be abale to get software or an option if not available. Because the problem was not resolved, even though he spent over an hour with us, he refsed to charge me. Very upright and I will use his services in the future

I called John and left a message regarding my laptop. I told him the error message was that a cooling fan was not working. John called me back and advised me that he does not work on cooling fans. He did recommend a computer company he works with and I followed his advise and they were great. I appreciate John's honestly and help in getting me to the correct place to fix my laptop. If I do need help in the future with a slow computer, I will call John.

He was wonderful and we used his service a lot. He was always available and talked us through any problem and didn’t double/overcharge us for things. He made his recommendations to us and had a very high level of expertise with what he was doing. I‘ve had not problems recommending his service to others.

He did a very good job and was able to answer any questions I had. I call John with questions and he always either answers them or takes control remotely of my computer and does what needs to be done. He is very reachable and returns calls very promptly.

He could not be better. I won’t let anyone else touch my computer. The computer is working marvelously. His prices are reasonable and I am thinking of calling him again to put some more things on my computer. I would give him an A+.

He's very good. He is very informative and he always returns my calls. He does wonders on my computer. I don't know what I would do without him. He is patient.

John responded to my call quickly. He fixed some issues with my computer right away, using remote control. I had complicated matters by trying to fix some initial problems with it myself, only making it worse. John isn't quite finished with the job, but we will continue until EVERYTHING on my computer works. Internet Explorer, browser issues, email issues. Very complex but he took the issues one by one to diagnose the problems. and fixed some immediately. Working with John is a pleasure. He spoke clearly and gave clear directions, explained what he was doing, and told me when I had to use my mouse to assist him. He was very patient with me, and my crazy-mixed up computer. He also stayed on track - I have a tendency to go off on tangents which he listened to but then got right back to the computer issue in front of us. After I wrote the above review and started to use my computer, I discovered that only some of the issues were solved. I called another computer company, and they resolved every single issue - it took them many hours, but they never gave up. I thought that John had done that, but time proved me wrong. SottryJohn, you were good, but not good enough. You should have followed up with the WINDOWS issue.

Excellent. John responded quickly to my email. Unfortunately my computer issue was a hardware issue and not within the scope of his sevices. John did give me a recommendation to a person who could possibly resolve my issue. Although I did not utilize his services he was very prompt to return my call and had a very professional attitude. I would definitely call him again to see if he could help me.

He made it work a little faster. He explained things really well. He's very patient and understanding. He answers all of my questions. If you call him, he always calls back.

start to finish, went very well. Do and Don't: Do use this contractor. Don't hesitate to ask questions. John can fix computers (1) at your residence or business, (2) remotely, and/or (3) pick-up-and-deliver. In my case, he fixed the 2 computers both my home and remotely. John answered my phone calls and arrived at appointments promptly (came twice because he had to purchase certain computer parts) and is very knowledgeable, thorough, & professional. He explained things carefully and made sure I understood. When I subsequently called with another computer problem, he quickly fixed it remotely from his office.

Mr. John is very professional. He has clear knowledge of computers. I have always been satisfied with his service. I would be happy to recommend him.

I left a message for John and he called me back in 10 minutes and came two hours later to pick up my desktop for repairs. He called me back the same day after running diagnostics and explained in detail what the problem was and how to fix it. He brought the computer back the next day, hooked it back up and it is working great. Infact this is the fastest my computer has ever worked, period. I then had John work on my slow laptop as well and the improvement is simply amazing.I found him to be very personable, efficient and highly competent. He took the time to answer all my questions and made sure that everything was well connected before he left. I will be calling him with all future computer problems.
