The job was done fantastically, a very professional crew. The movers were on time and worked very quickly on one of the hottest days of the year. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Overall they got a high 90 grade. They were on time and professional they wre hard workers they really didn't even take a break durung the move. It was alot of work and they did a great job.

Smooth and easy. They quoted me three guys, $85/hour for a two-hour minimum, plus a travel fee of $42, for my in-building move. This was the cheapest I found for that many guys. Since my needs weren't special or complicated, I took a chance on them, even though their reviews were slightly less good than some other Angie's List companies. Jay Movers called me twice to reconfirm. On moving day, they came promptly at 9 am. The guys worked quickly and efficiently, even getting in all my little assorted items that I hadn't been gotten into boxes yet. A couple of my pieces got very small nicks during the process, but overall the guys seemed pretty careful. They were done exactly within two hours and I paid exactly what I was quoted. The guys were very nice, friendly, and spoke fine English. The only strange thing was that the manager apparently didn't tell my guys that the move was in-building, they were about to load the truck when my doorman stopped them! Good thing he did!

Dan came with two men. They were efficient, respectful of my property and work was performed within the estimated time and to my satisfaction. They were half an hour late arriving but I expected that from reading previous reports. Recommend them highly for this kind of small non-urgent move.

It was terrible, I called them to complain, they were surprised. They were disappointed we had such a bad experience we were promised a follow up call that we never received. They were careless they banged a bunch of furniture around. I thought some of their actions were very disrespectful to my property. I would not recommend them.

Requested four movers. Two were very experienced and very good. They actually went out of their way to move large pieces of furniture up narrow staircases. One was in training and could not move too much, but was otherwise good. The last mover did not show up in uniform and damaged multiple items (minor, but nonetheless). We had a watch him like a hawk. We had debated to hire three vs. four man crew, and it was disappointing that he was the 4th guy we paid for.

I hired Jay Mover's based on reviews that I read on this board. They sent 3 men for my small job. They arrived 2 hours late and it took them 3 hours to move my boxes and 2 pieces of furniture, damaging one piece in transit. The men were nice, but extremely slow. By the end of the job, my boyfriend and I were moving things into the apartment just so they could finish up/

This company was a pleasure to do business with from the first call until the last piece of furniture was in place. They arrived a little later that expected but someone called and it was fine as we needed more time to pack. The team was polite, extremely careful, neat, professional and hardworking. I can't say enough about them and will definitely use Jay Movers again.

Jay Movers sent a 3 man team (Rick, Don and Jim). They arrived early and were very polite and helpful - and extraordinarily fast. They were entertaining, to boot! Before they arrived, they had said to allow 6 hours for the move (including the drive from Chicago to Elgin). The team worked very hard and were finished in barely 3 hours, including the drive time. They almost beat us to the house! Despite the speed, they were careful to wrap our pieces in blankets and made sure to handle things appropriately. Nothing was damaged or even nicked - a first for us, despite our many moves. We would definitely hire this crew again - they were genuinely nice guys who professionally handled the job and made sure we were happy.

I am very happy with the care they took. Price was a little high, but I would rather my things be taken good care of.
