Customer purchased this deal 1 YEAR AGO and now decided to use it. According to contacts at Angie's it was expired. After making several attempts to reach customer and not getting replies back we spoke to Angies list and they said they would make good on the coupon. So we tried again to contact customer and got no response. As far as not serving African Americans on the south side, we have African American in our family and we live on the south side. So this customer is trying to turn this into a racial situation and it is not. We have attempted several times to make good with the customer as we have been in business since 1982. We have the same phone number, address and are not (do not) ditch our customers. We appreciate the business and customer base. This is our living. We don't turn people down. We apologize this customer feels this way, as we realize everyone has their opinion.

Description of Work: televised part of sewer line-found it fairly clean; rodded & removed small roots. Arrived late & did not call to let me know. Then they were rushed, said they had many more jobs scheduled and did not take the time to do a thorough examination.

Description of Work: I had the plumber look at my toilet, which was having issues with water constantly running. However, in fixing this issue the toilet now does not always fill with water, which requires me to wiggle the flapper valve inside the toilet every 3 or 4 flushes to get it to fill the bowl. I noticed this after we tested it a few times, and the plumber was quite keen on getting home. He barely acknowledged the issue and offered no remedies on how to fix this new problem. Now I'll have to pay someone else to come over and look at my toilet, as I cannot figure this darn thing out.

They did quality work and it only took 1/2 a day (others had quoted up to 1 1/2 days at nearly 3x the rate), he stuck to his original quote even though there was a fair amount of material put into shower #2. He and his assistant were scheduled to come in the same Saturday after I called, and when they had an emergency call come in Friday afternoon I was given the option to reschedule to the next day ,a Sunday. Very professional.
Description of Work: Jeff rough installed 2 shower systems for me at a quoted $325 each. He also fixed my unit's stuck main shutoff valve when he came to do the quote at no charge. The first shower was a fairly simple install, just replacing the existing valve. For the second install he had to repipe and install 3 valves.
