Work was not authorized for reasons beyond anyone's control.

They came one day when we were not home, which was OK. They gave a very detailed estimate. Instead of replacing the original brick, they suggested adding a different type of brick and we preferred the company that we went with. I asked him if he had done any similar work; with similar stone, and he said he would get back to me with the referrals. They didn't contact us.

I don?t recall when I last looked them up but my experience with them was very good. It was so good that I got them back to do some electrical work for me. They were very responsive and responded to phone calls quickly. The gentleman that was in charge of the project communicated very well with us.

They did a good job. They did real nice work and they were on time. It was a good positive experience. It cost a lot.

I thought the main guy we worked with was very professional. I would hire them again.

Overall a good experience. The price went up because we didn't accept the contract within 30 days of when it was first written, which was disappointing. The sidewalk looks great, though. It slopes away from our house's foundation as we had requested.

I contacted the company to get an estimate for the job and subsequently set a time for Eric Wrobel to come to the property to look at the job. He did show up at the appointed date and time and was courteous and professional. However, after telling me he would send me an estimate, I never heard back from him and did not receive an estimate in any form. It's disappointing and discouraging when you cannot even get a company to take the first step and just give you an estimate. The lack of follow through does not bode well and therefore I would not hire this company to do any work even if they did come through with an estimate now.

We had a little problem with them. They didn?t do some of the work that they said they would do. We called them and they did complete it. We felt that they extra charged us. Their quality and responsiveness were pretty good. We would probably try to go with someone else before we would try them again.

The work was done well and in a very professional manner. I will use them again.

Overall it was a great experience. They were excellent at communication and extremely flexible and helpful with regard to answering questions.

Martin was extremely professional, attentive to all my questions, and timely in his responses. I chose the 5 highest rated local masons on Angie's List and his estimate was right in line for the work he deemed necessary at this time. He also identified and quoted additional work necessary in the future, but not immediately essential. The work took three days. The work area was spotless at the end of each day, as well as at the completion for the project. We added some additional work after the project began due to new discoveries when some of the bricks were removed. The work was recommended after the project began, but we very happy the work was recommended and was well worth the additional cost. Only caveat is that they are very busy and they tend to schedule work 3-4 weeks from initial contact.

The job went very well. The representative did a good job of assessing the scope of the job. The quote was very comparable, in some cases more favorable, than the other 3 quotes we received. They arrived when promised. The masons/workmen were highly skilled and extremely hardworking. The work on the garage walls and spot tuckpointing was thorough and high quality. They kept the work site tidy. The rep was responsive to questions. We were very satisfied and would definitely use Illinois Home Improvement again.

Came out and replaced mortar on our home. I signed a contract with themto make sure the home would not be damaged and the flowers in the front would not be harmed. They started the work on Friday 8/21/09 and finished on Monday 8/24/09. The trim looks awful and the flowers have been damaged. We talked with them about all the problems on the house after the work was completed. The owner stated he would call us after he reviewed the less than satisfactory work. We have not heard back from him. There is also a red substance that is flowing over the cement trim. Where the concrete blocks are, it appears they used a latex based product that looks awful as well. They have marred the decorative trim and there is also the red substance on our sidewalk.

They are doing a wide range of jobs. They started the job yesterday and will probably be here the whole week. They have done a good job so far. They gave a very professional estimate. They came out fairly quickly. The punctuality and professionalism has been wonderful so far. If they do every thing they said they will do, the price is good.

They were on time and polite. They are general contractors so they can do everything.

Great price. Felt comfortable with them, family owned. Great estimate, prompt, and thorough. I was located out of state for the work and received great feedback from neighbors. They even hired them from seeing my house being done. Eric Worbil is the owner and ran and monitored the whole project. Eric was very patient with any changes or additions to the project. A very cooperative guy.

Eric came to our house with samples and was helpful in selecting the right crown molding size and style for our home. In order to reduce the amount of dust in our house, Eric had his workers make half of the required miter cuts at their workshop before arriving. Regardless, they were very good about cleaning up after themselves. When I came home from work at the end of the day, nearly all the crown molding was up and there was no mess to cleanup. The entire project was completed in less than two days. The results were very impressive even before we had our painter finish the job.

The door took a little longer to arrive from the manufacturer than expected, but it was ordered over the Christmas holidays so this was no big surprise. The entryway was replaced in a single workday so that the new door was usable when everyone returned from work. The trim work and remaining details were finished the following day -- one day ahead of the expected schedule.

The doors arrived quicker than expected. The Marvin doors would have been installed in about a day, but they discovered some problems with the existing lintel above the old patio door that required additional masonry work and replacement. With that said, this only set back the project by one day. The other two fire escape doors took about two days to install. The installers made sure to correct the former installation problems and insulate the door surroundings properly. The new doors, especially the Marvin doors, look fantastic and no longer let the cold air in. After installation, Eric was very responsive about coming back to make some minor adjustments to make sure all the doors were snug and air tight.

Eric scheduled this job to coincide with a short vacation we took so that we could avoid the dust and come back to a home with a functional master bathroom. All the major tile work and paneling changes were already completed when we got back home and they finished up the remaining re-grouting, resealing, and cleanup a few days later. I'm very pleased with the results. Bathroom work requires patience and an eye for detail. Considering what we paid for the original remodeling, I feel like this was a very fair price to fix the existing problems and improve the overall look of the bathroom in a dramatic way.

They finished the work in 2 months and did a good job. They had workers come over every day for the job and they all did well. The price was worth the quality of the work done. I have had talks with them about another work I want them to do in the near future for me.
