I brought in several recommended professionals to bid on the project and all the quotes were astronomical ($3500+), and many didn't include the plumbing work, which meant I'd have to hire a plumber separately to arrive ahead of the install team and follow-up to reconnect everything afterwards. Bart at Granite Design was on time, professional (and just a really nice guy). He was able to come out for the initial quote and the final measurements in the evenings, which was a big help. I was able to use remnants from his warehouse so I didn't have to pay for granite slabs for the two smaller bathroom projects. And when it came to picking the kitchen slab, Bart's team wasn't the least bit pushy about selecting the slabs they had in house. Instead, they gave me a list of warehouses I could visit to pick out exactly what I wanted at no additional cost to the project. The installation team arrived right on time, completed the job carefully and carried around a shopvac and duster to clean up every where they went. Granite Design's plumber Eric arrived shortly after installation to install all of the faucets, A few hours after I found a very slow leak under the kitchen sink, and Eric called me back within 5 minutes and came out the following morning (Saturday) to fix it. I can't recommend this team more highly. Not only were they the least expensive, they were the most professional and I could not be happier about my gorgeous new counters.

They did a nice job. Their price was the best when compared to others. They were very quick and they did an easy job. I would rate them high overall. The granite has actually chipped away in some areas and I don’t know whether it’s their fault or the tile that I have chosen. I would use them again in the future if needed.

Experience was excellent! From contacting Bart and getting estimate to getting the new countertops installed was less than a week. Everyone was professional.

The whole experience went very well. Bart came out to take measurements, and the estimate was emailed within 24hrs. There was good and prompt communication throughout. The workers came to remove and install the countertops quickly and efficiently. There was hardly any mess. I would recommend this company to anyone. The prices were unbeatable, and the service was great.

Bart was great. He sent us to pick out the granite and emailed us quotes right away. He also let us know that the first granite (very expensive) that we picked out was more fragile than most and susceptible to chipping. We didn't want to spend that much in the first place and appreciated that he let us know it was fragile. We finally picked out a granite and Bart came out and measured. He set an installation date and his installers were there right on time. We absolutely love our countertops (and our fireplace hearth). We would definitely recommend Granite Design.

It was great. Bart was very responsive and easy to work with. He came out initially and did the detailed measurements and told me where to go the look at the marble slabs. Once I selected the marble, I had some specific instructions as to the type of pieces I wanted for the cuts, which Bart was able to honor. They came on time for the install and were efficient, effective and clean. They were able to work with my schedule and have been great with follow up on all my communication - even email! And the marble looks great.

I called and the appointment was scheduled within 2 days. Bart came out with the samples and to measure. I didn't see any colors I liked in the samples he brought, so he sent me directly to their warehouse, where they had many more choices. I was able to pick the slab I wanted for the kitchen. Once the kitchen remodel was complete, I called Bart to let him know. Our countertops were delivered four days later! amazing! Great service and very professional!

I already had a few estimates for granite countertops when I called Bart at Granite Design. He sent out Jacek to measure our tops and a few days later e-mailed me an estimate. Their price is by far the best. We picked out a granite at the warehouse and a couple of days later Jacek came out for the final measurements. From the first call to final installation was three weeks. Great job all around from Bart and his staff.

We couldn't be MORE pleased. Bart is a consummate professional and hires top rate installers. HIRE THEM if you need stone work! I would hire them again in a second. Really - call them first!

Bart was very prompt and thorough with his communication and, upon seeing an overmount stainless sink, offered to convert it to an undermount at no additional cost. The counters are beautiful and the cost very reasonable!

They did a great job. Their price was excellent and the finished product looks great. They were very flexible and helpful. I never felt like they were trying to up sell me and I was actually able to use a remnant piece for my kitchen.

I contacted about 5 different vendors and their pricing was the most competitive and they were the only ones that said they could use one piece of stone, all others said the counter was too big and they would have to use two pieces so there would be a very obvious seam. Bart came out to take measurements and provide an estimate and once I selected the material, which they had in stock, they came back a week or so later to install it. I would definitely reccomend them and use them again. They don't really have a showroom, only a warehouse where they do the cutting and finishing but they do have samples to show you. The office manager was very responsive as was the owner when setting things up.

Granite Design installed our countertops 2 years ago and we were incredibly pleased with their work. A few weeks ago, I dropped a heavy pot from the top shelf of our cabinets and smashed a chunk of countertop off an edge. Needless to say, I was pretty upset with myself. I called the company to see if they could maybe polish or smooth off the edge. Someone came out the next week, and explained that polishing was not possible, but he could use an epoxy to fill in the gap and smooth it out. 20 minutes later, it looked like nothing had happened - PERFECT!!! He gathered his things to leave and was saying goodbye when I asked how much for the repair. He said it was no problem at all, and they like to take care of their customers. I was floored! What incredible service!!!

The quality of the granite and their workmanship is excellent. Everyone I worked with - Bart, Madga and the installers - were extremely nice. You have to do a little extra work by going to the granite warehouse to pick out your own slab, but they have the best price around -- and I did a lot of research! They also have a great selection of colors -- 16 choices -- with any edge you want for one price. Other places have "levels" of colors and charge extra for certain edges. There was a miscommunication on the price (a difference of about $35): one quote over the phone and another on the invoice, but they only made me pay what I was quoted on the phone with no hassle which was good customer service.

We found Granite design on Angie's List and they lived up to the hype. Bart was able to provide a quick estimate, allowed us to pick out our slab and was very responsive via e-mail. The installation was smooth and everything was to our liking.

It was a great experience dealing with this company, they are very professional, they came out exactly when they said they would, the top fit perfect and looked great. I will definitely use them in the future.

Bart came out for an estimate. Really nice guy and gave me a quote later that same week. The day of the install they were delayed, however I was called constantly by the office giving me updates. The installation went well, all the workers were really nice and took care of my belongings. Overall I had a great experience with Granite Design. My favorite thing is Bart gets back to you FAST and all over email. I hate playing phone tag with people especially nowadays since there are faster and more efficient ways of communication. I would recommend this company to my friends.

Overall fine. The counter top is great but the install was just a little unprofessional. They had top cut a notch in my window frame and it is a big notch. I really like my counter overall but everyone who comes over says what the heck is this hole? It's a small problem and possibly unavoidable due to the laws of physics so I can't be sure it's their fault. But they should have told me ahead of time. So, at the least it's a small oversight. Overall, I am very happy with product and price. Nice guys.

Bart did a great job and was excellent to work with. Magda was excellent at keeping in touch throughout the process of kitchen counter installation and always returned calls rapidly. Quick, efficient, prompt. Well done.
