Faithful Fences

Called and setup an appointment to get an estimate for some new fences. Jim came out and took measurements, but I never heard back with any pricing. I left multiple messages requesting the pricing from him.

Very pleasant. Jim was helpful, the workers were polite and neat, and the fence was replaced promptly. It looks great! I'm very happy with the whole process.

I worked with Jim. The company was absolutely fantastic. The fence is beautiful, above and beyond our expectations. We're on an alley, so not only did they install a beautiful new fence, but there has been a lot of leaves, garbage, and debris in the alley, that they cleaned up, free of charge. They trimmed our tree, free of charge, so the fence would better fit our yard. Excellent, excellent company. I highly recommend them, and I would certainly do so with anyone I know. It's a wonderful company.

Jim came out at the agreed upon time and was very helpful. We've decided to hold off on this project for now, but we will consider Faithful Fences when we do proceed.

My experience with Jim Chmielinski was very delightful. He came to my home soon after I called him, he brought along pictures and was quite informative. He was very professional and did not try to pressure me into something I did not want. Originally I asked about a certain type of fence, which I am sure he could do, but he let me know exactly what my choice would entail. The job was started within the time frame he originally gave me and to my surprise they completed the job in two days instead of three. The crew did a very good job, I am very pleased with the finished product. They left my yard clean without any debris left from the work. We called to have them give us an estimate. The guy said he would stop by the following Tuesday and leave us a proposal. We never received an estimate.

Jim Chmielinski promptly returned my call and was very helpful in recommending what repairs I really needed to have made -- replacing only the fence sections which had collapsed, retaining the remainder of the fence. He also explained why the sections had collapsed (the cement supporting the uprights was not sufficiently above ground level). This work was done in December 2005 - and the crew completed the work very promptly during the extreme cold and snow of that month. It took 2 days - one to remove fence & pour concrete/install uprights, and a 2nd to install the fencing. They cleaned the site up well.

we would be erecting a fence that was level all the way across. I never even noticed that we used to have a step fence as it was covered with leaves in the summer. It turns out a level fence is not possible in our yard (with the style I wanted). I was not informed of this until the day the work started. Also, I had to speak with various people because my original contact (salesman) was not always available, not that he has much control over the situation anyway. Turns out, he's just a salesman. The other glitch involved not informing us that our neighbor's branch needed to be cut down as it interfered with one of the sections. Had they not waited to inform me, I could have talked to my neighbor and avoided last minute stress. These details don't involve Faithful Fences, but are some considerations in finding a fence company. Mainly I did not appreciate some of the surprises thrown my way with the company we used. I will not hesitate to contact Jim should we need to in the future.

Mike came and gave an estimate. He was attentive to our needs, and although his price was over our budget, we felt he understood what we wanted. We are not going to do the work at this time and will revisit the project in the late summer.

Jim is terrific. He called back, and always let me know when he would get back or when work would be done. He crew came back two times after work was done to correct small details, and was happy to do so. Such a nice person!

Outstanding service, price, artistic design and workmanship. Jim visited our home 1 week after initial call. A week later Jim presented drawings and price. Jim was ready to install within a week but waited on our roofer. Jim's installation crew was excellent. We could not be more pleased. The price was quite fair.

Jim was extremely helpful and worked around my schedule to meet before work for the estimate and payment meetings. The work was completed in a very timely manner, around one week. The result is a great looking new gate at a price that was comparable or less than quotes from other companies in the area.

The did an excellent job. They did have to return to modify the job slightly but returned promptly and finished the job. They also did a minor repair on an iron brace for our iron staircase. They did that well also. They worked at an appropriate pace as well. Good Folks!

I never really thought I would feel this way about my fence. It is absolutely beautiful! We had an amazing experience with Faithful Fence and cannot say enough positive things about them. First of all, the crew is incredible. They are polite, punctual and extremely hard working and devoted to excellence in every aspect of the work. Their pricing was competitive and the quality of the fence far exceeded hopes and expectations. I can't wait to get a new deck so I can use these guys again. A+++++++++++++

We were very pleased with the overall attitude and craftsmanship. Jim showed up on time for the estimate as well as showing up on time to begin the work. He reused the old wood, which we had requested. The gate now slides better than it did when first constructed some years ago. Their total bill was reasonable. We would highly recommend Faithful Fences.

Jim came out the same day that we called him to give us an estimate. He was very professional and personable. He came out a couple of days later (inclement weather prevented him from coming the very next day) to perform the work, and did an excellent job.

Overall experience was very pleasant, and I am planning on contacting Jim again when it comes time to install my iron fence.

I called on Dec. 6th and they came out next day to measure and quote a price, and set an appointment to start job. They came on time to set the post on first day, and on Friday as cold as it was, they were on time and worked until the job was done. This is a great company to do business with. They are courteous, very professional, and work with you to meet your needs.

Jim was very responsive and helpful during the entire process (quoting and installing). They were punctual and very efficient.

THESE PEOPLE DID THE WORK IN A WEEK IN A HALF, AND I NEEDED IT DONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IT LOOKS VERY GOOD. THEY EVEN GIVE YOU TOUCH-UP PAINT IN CASE YOU NEED TO DO SOME MINOR REPAIRS LATER. THEY WERE EVEN 10 MINUTES EARLY. THE HIGH QUALITY OF THEIR SERVICE IS JUST SO UNUSUAL.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. I'VE HIRED SMALL COMPANIES TO DO SIMILAR PROJECTS, AND HAVE RARELY HAD SUCH A GOOD EXPERIENCE. I WOULD RECOMMEND JIM AND HIS GUYS TO ANYONE.

JIM WAS TERRIFIC, HE CALLED ME BACK RIGHT AWAY AND GAVE ME AN ON THE SPOT ESTIMATE. HIS WORKERS CAME THE NEXT DAY AND DID A GREAT JOB. THEY BUILT A FENCE MUCH BETTER THAN MY OLD ONE. DEFINITELY A GOOD VALUE.

HE WAS INCREDIBLY KNOWLEDGEABLE, SOFT-SPOKEN, MADE GREAT RECOMMENDATIONS, VERY PROFESSIONAL. YOU COULD SEE THE PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP IN THIS COMPANY. THE ENTIRE PROJECT WAS COMPLETED OVER A 3 DAY PERIOD (THE DELAY RESULTED FROM THE VILLAGE'S PERMITTING PROCESS, AND SOME RAINY WEATHER, ITEMS OUT OF JIM'S CONTROL). JIM KEPT IN TOUCH EVERY STEP OF THE WAY AND ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. MIKE AND THE REST OF HIS CREW WERE PERSONABLE & HAD GREAT SENSES OF HUMOR. THEY ASKED IF I WANTED TO KEEP THE GOOD DIRT THEY'D DUG OUT OR HAVE IT REMOVED (THEY REMOVED IT). THERE WAS NO MESS, NO DISRUPTION. EVERYTHING WAS AS PROMISED.
