+ -1 moreIt went great! They did an absolutely wonderful job. My blinds were trash can ready before I brought them in and now they look brand new! The guys were easy to talk to, they explained how they were going to clean them and had them back to me in 1.5 days. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I called two days ago because the cord on my blind needed to be repaired. They were able to come out at my schedule. The serviceman was professional and knowledgeable. They were able to make the repair the same day... and went the extra mile by installing butterflies to tie my cords to keep them out of the way of my toddler.

Description of Work: I wanted 60 slats of vertical blinds, valances therefor, and two vinyl window shades cleaned, so phoned 3 blind-cleaning firms from Angie's List and selected Eurosonics. Eurosonics' Mr. Conlon was very nice on the phone. I was a bit disappointed when he told me that his company doesn't clean the valances that top the blinds; but he quoted a very satisfactory price to have his crew come the next morning between 9 & 11 am, remove the blinds & shades, and return and re-hang them by 5 pm the same day. So we made the appointment, but his driver didn't come by 11 nor did he call to say he'd be late, etc. I had to leave for a medical appointment, so I phoned Mr. Conlon and explained the problem and cancelled that day's appointment and said I'd phone back & re-schedule. Mr. Conlon was apologetic and very nice, and at that moment I did plan to re-schedule. However, when I returned home following the medical appointment, I decided to just wash the blinds myself and avoid the hassle of someone's coming in to remove the blinds and again to re-hang them, not to mention that every passerby could peek into the house while the blinds were gone. I've now cleaned the blinds, INCLUDING THE VALANCES, and am glad I did it myself. I didn't remove them--just washed them while they were in place. It took about 2-1/2 hours because I also rinsed & dried them. They look great and it was much easier than I thought it would be. Bottom line, I believe Experian would have done a good job and their price was fine, but I did want the valances cleaned and didn't want to wonder if their crew would arrive during the agreed-on time slot. The window shades still need to be cleaned, and I might take them to Experian; their office isn't very far and I wouldn't need their crew to come & take them down & re-hang them later.

+ -1 moreThe woman that was there when we dropped off the blinds was very nice and promised they would be done in 24 hours. We didn't come back for several days due to the long holiday weekend. When we got there, the blinds were still hanging and we had to stand there for 20 minutes, on our lunchhour, for the men who were there to get them ready. All the while they were doing it, they were swearing and angry about it.

+ -1 moreI needed all my apartment blinds cleaned and prior to this experience, have never used a professional blind cleaning service. The staff was punctual and professional and took down the blinds efficiently. The clean and repaired blinds were ready within one day. There was some confusion with the office staff as to delivery time but John sorted it out and had the blinds delivered as per my convenience. Couldn't wipe the smile off my face when the sparkling clean and repaired blinds were hung!!!! A+

+ -1 moreThe gentleman that picked up my blinds was very courteous and prompt . They picked up my blinds between 5:00pm and 5:30pm as promised. When they returned the next day the blinds looked great but the workers appeared to be in a big hurry and put the blinds up so quick and left that I didn't get a chance to ask where the clamps were that were in place when they removed the blinds. Also one of the blinds was put back up crooked.

+ -1 moreEurosonics responded very promptly to our request. The came and took about half of our blinds, and were ready to return them the next day. One their return they took the second set and had them back in a day. They took down and reinstalled all of the blinds. With only a minor glitch, they were extremely punctual and were willing to work around our schedules.
Description of Work: We had 19 sets of blinds cleaned, in two sets.

+ -1 moreExcellent service and superior results. I usually tend to be critical of the quality of service we get these days, but these people deserve a star! I called on Thursday and they scheduled someone to come out to my place on Saturday to pick up the blinds for cleaning. They were running late, but they called to let us know that they would be a few minutes late, which I appreciated. The guy was very nice. He detached the blinds and promised to be back later that afternoon with clean blinds. He called later in the afternoon and said that the blinds didn't come out as clean as he would have liked them to, so he offered to run them through their machine again at no extra charge. I believed that because the blinds were really filthy with about 10 years of nicotine accumulated in them from daily cigarette smoking. I was very pleased that he suggested to clean them again, especially at no extra charge. He said that since it was already late on Saturday afternoon, he would have the clean blinds delivered to us on Monday early afternoon. They did so, as promised. The blinds came out very nice and clean and they delivered them and put them up as agreed. Great service, kind people. I wish them a lot of success.

I was going to be in the area, so I decided to delivery and pick up the blinds myself. They guys were courteous and unloaded and loaded them into the truck for me. The company was very flexible with the time I wanted to pick up the blinds. The price was reasonable and included everything (cleaning and repair). I even received an Angie's List discount! It was a very good experience. I would recommend them to others.

+ -1 moreWent very smoothly. I emailed for information, received a response within 24 hours. We talked by phone where all my questions were answered. The company picked up and delivered. I had taken down all my blinds, since I was having my windows replaced, but the crew that came to pick up were prepared to do that for me. They were a little later than scheduled, but were apologetic. They delivered all the blinds, nicely wrapped, at the time we agreed upon two days later (they could have done next day if I were available). The blinds came out beautifully; I had concerns since the blinds had accumulated several years of dust, not to mention pet stains. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner, and I'll definitely use them again now that I know how easy it is.

I brought the first blind and left it with a young lady and asked if they would have any problem doing the work on this blind. She didn't know so she went and asked and came back and said it should be no problem and I could pick the blind up the next day. I brought it home and installed it but it was not strung correctly and would not work. I brought it back with one that was still good so they could see how it was done and they restrung the blind correctly. And as happens when things start to break I took the blinds home and installed them and when I pulled the blind down that I had brought in for an example the string on that one broke also. All in all very good service with something they had never done before.
Description of Work: The strings in two of the Day/Night blinds in my Motor Home broke so I needed them restrung.

+ -1 moreWhen I called the receptionist was friendly and informative. The quote was accurate, the work was done on time and within price.
Description of Work: I brought in six pairs of blinds to be cleaned and they were cleaned within two days. I was quoted $63 and paid $63, approximately $10 per blind. The work was excellent, the location convenient and they were open sufficient hours that it was easy for me to drop off and pick up my blinds. I would definitely use them again.

+ -1 moreWhen I purchased the blinds from Eurosonics Blind, I was happy. When they first brought the blinds to my home, I noticed one was ripped and damaged, and the other blind had glue stains. I refused installation of these two blinds because of the poor quality. I informed them that I had paid for new blinds and this was what I expected. The installer left with the two damaged blinds. After three weeks, they returned stating they came with new blinds, but this was a lie. They were the exact same blinds brought on the first visit. They had been cleaned and repaired. They were not new blinds. I was charged the full price of new blinds and the company refused any refund or adjustment.
Description of Work: Eurosonics Blind provided and installed two blinds on my 5 x 5 foot windows located on the third level stairwell of my home. The installation took approximately 20 minuets.

+ 0 moreI called Eurosonic on a Monday, talked with a responsive and set up an appointment for the work to be done on the following Friday. Pickup was scheduled for 9:00-11:00 and return from 3:00-5:00 that day. Two most pleasant men came at about 11:30 (rather than 11:00) and took down the blinds in about 10 minutes. They returned a bit before 5:00 and installed the blinds, checking each one to see if it moved correctly in all the ways it can be used. They explained a bit about the process of cleaning when asked. This work took about 20 minutes. The blinds look great, even the one in the kitchen that had some stains on it. All the contacts were pleasant, the work is totally satisfactory and the price was most reasonable.
Description of Work: Eleven duette blinds were cleaned and one was repaired. There was a small tear in the fabric near the top of this blind. They cut out a section and reassembled it, all for $15! It looks like new!

+ -1 moreThere were some scheduling problems and confusion when I first called, but they were able to reschedule at an even more convenient time. The blind removers worked around the window washer and house cleaner. They initially said they'd be there between 9 and 11, but on the work order the time was 9-12. They arrived around 11:30, I believe. One of the workers asked if they could return the blinds between 3 and 4 instead of between 3 and 6, and that was fine with me.
Description of Work: A team of three people removed six very, very dirty blinds and returned to install them later that afternoon. The blinds were sparkling clean, even the cords. One cord pull was missing on the blinds I sent to them, no one asked if I would like it repaired. Also the cords were not safety cords, and no one asked if I'd like safety cords. In their defense though, when I asked whether the cats could get caught in the cords that I had wound up and clipped, they said no. Also, they explained that the cats couldn't get hurt in the blinds themselves because the blinds would bend. That made me comfortable using the blinds. Also the person who returned the blinds was willing to hang a curtain that I couldn't reach, one that the painters had taken down, not on a window that had blinds. I appreciate this kindness.
