The people were courteous and clean, the work was very good. They are a smaller company and prices were higher than I thought. I might shop around before hiring them again or use them for the smaller jobs I need done.

I have used them in the past for a much larger job and they had suggested doing this then. I wanted to wait a while and so when I was ready, I called them back out. They did just as good of a job this time as they did the last.

They did a great job. They moved the dirt that was dug up back where it was when they were done. They made sure that everything was picked up before they left. The two guys that did the work were very professional.

Great! Nice, professional people followed through on what they said.

Doug and his team completed everything in a professional manner. They recommended we purchase the lights ourselves so we would be satisfied with the way they looked and functioned. We decided to purchase high pressure sodium lights because they are more energy efficient and don't attract as many bugs as fluorescent lights. After I called the first time, I received a call back from Doug himself, and he came out to give us an estimate. Once the lights were ordered and arrived, Doug's team began work. I wasn't completely happy with the initial placement of the 2 parking lights, so they moved them to where I wanted them. The lines of communication with Doug and his company were excellent, and I would highly recommend them.

I think they have done an excellent job. They are very accommodating, very pleasant to deal with. I have nothing bad to say about them! I keep calling them again and again!

Doug arrived a couple hours after I called to verify the problem and get the correct breaker. He installed it the same afternoon. The next day, however, I again lost power to half the circuits. He told me the problem would have to be the current entering the building and called electric company to explain the problem. He later came by to doublecheck and called electric company again on my behalf. A electric company workman confirmed that the wiring wasn't done properly and has since fixed it.

The estimate was presented within two days of contacting the company. Once we accepted it, the work was done within the week and took exactly one day with two men on the job. The work was efficient, clean, and has held up with no problems. People were pleasant to deal with and very clear about the scope and price of labor and materials.

I called Douglas Electric in the morning and got their voice mail. They returned my call within 30 minutes, and came out about 4 hours later to do the estimate. They provided me a written estimate the next day, as promised. The price was very reasonable, and I likely would have used Douglas Electric to do the work, however, the company that came to do my 3rd estimate actually found a solution to the problem that did not require re-wiring, so I didn't end up hiring Douglas Electric.

We heard a crackling sound from a light switch in a closet and were concerned because of some water leakage problems in that area. I called Douglas electric that day; they got back to me right away and sent someone out the next morning first thing. He checked the closet switches and fixtures and found no problems. We also had him check our dining room light switches because we were experiencing a delay between hitting the switch and having the lights come on. The electrician was timely, friendly and did the work quickly and efficiently. He did have to go out to purchase new switches for the dining room after he determined that they were bad (which was a surprise, because they weren't that old). He installed the new switches quickly and the lights worked perfectly. While the work we had done was not extensive, I would call Douglas again because of their timeliness, their expeditious work, and their clear explanation of costs so there were no surprises.

It was fantastic. We loved them. Under-promised, and over delivered. We bought the house about 6 months ago and got a quote. We moved in about 4 months ago, and we had a handful of other things that needed done. Richard came out and his work far exceeded our expectations. he made sure that everything looked really nice and pointed out an took care of some things that we weren't aware of without charge. Douglas, Richard and Randy were amazing, very courteous and professional. We'd like to nominate this company for the page of happiness. I wish everybody did business they way that they do.

Very good. Received a quick response to request for estimate. Upon payment of a 25% deposit scheduled the work. The work was done over two days as planned. The work crew was very professional & courteous. We found one wall outlet not working & they arrived the next business day to take care of it. They even took the initiative to fix my screen door, which was broken.

Excellent! These guys are the best. Doug took the lighting plan from our interior designer and provided some ways to cut down on the amount of lighting to save money. The end result turned out perfectly. Doug came by during all three days of the project to see how things were going. His guy who does layout is exactly the type of person you want working on your house. He drills small inspection holes to verify a light will fit before drilling a big hole for the light. That saves significantly on the amount of patch work required. He also invented a simple device that captures most of the dust that falls during drilling for the lights and uses plenty of drop cloths. Each day after he was done you could not find any dust or dirt from the work.

Douglas came to the job site to meet his installer and start the work, he was very knowledgeable and professional. He described the work to perform to the installer and made sure that I and the installer were aware of all the work to perform. The installation was completed in a few hours. Very happy with their work and professionalism. Installer cleaned up and gave instructions on everything that he did before he left.

Outstanding job. The electrician arrived on schedule; actually he fit me in the same day I telephoned. I'm very pleased.

Dave was very nice and try not to disturb any more than necessary. He spent a fair amount of time looking for that mystery box to finally decide to do the work on the circuit breaker. I am surprised he did not check that first. He made sure everything was in order when he left.

They are reasonable prices and they do excellent work. If they see something that might be a problem in the future they will let you know.

The work was done well, and professionally. However, the worker broke the light while trying to install it, and had to go to the store to replace it; on the way, he ran into somebody he knew, and spent half an hour talking to them. When we got the bill, we were charged for all this time. We had also asked for two invoices, since part of the job was to be paid by the condo association, and each invoice included a charge for the service call. When I called, they took off the second service-call charge and took off an hour of labor. I left it at that, although the time charged was still somewhat more than the time spent.

I called and left a message. The call was returned the next day and the same day Doug came and provided me with an estimate. The following week he came and performed the work.

I was very impressed with both Doug's advice and with the work performed. They were efficient and careful, and also very pleasant. Best of all, the vacuum cleaner doesn't blow circuits any more, and the furnace power isn't interrupted.

They came out when promised, answered all my questions, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. I was very pleased with their service.

Again, if character counts for anything (and it does with me), I'll call Doug first with my next electrical problem.

I emailed company last night and received no reply. I telephoned this morning, spoke with `Doug,' who said he'd call me in half an hour. It is 2 hours later. Not good.
