I had his report in a matter of hours and it was detailed and clear. Andrew made clear that I was to call him whenever, even a year from now, if I have a question or concern. Description of Work: A very extensive inspection of the home. Inspector was very knowledgeable and explained many issues right upfront. Great inspection, great inspector and saved us a ton of dollars. We didn't purchase the home due to many issues. Using them again, will get a discount. Only issue is they were very expensive. Usual rate is between $300.00 to $500.00 so do your homework and shop around. I'm sure you can receive a cheaper rate and receive a great inspection. Just be careful out there.

After combing through Yelp and Angie's List reviews, Domicile was at the top of our list, and they absolutely delivered. | |Andrew was our home inspector - he showed up with someone else (didn't catch his name) who was an expert in electrical affairs. We stayed out of their way for the most part, but when we went into a room to check in on them, Andrew was more than willing to point things out to us or explain what he was seeing, and said there would be more details in the report. | |The home inspection report was incredibly detailed, even going into some areas of the condo that we have no control over (e.g. some common areas like the roof) that I think will be helpful if there are any special assessments in the years to come. Andrew was also willing to get on the phone with us later and chat through which items required special attention due to code/safety reasons, and was even willing to ballpark the cost to repair some of those items. | |Definitely feel like we got our money's worth, and then some -- can't speak highly enough of this company.

Description of Work: Ross showed up right on time. we were expecting the insulation and infrared study to cost $125. Imagine my surprise when he didn't even want to charge us!. I insisted that he take $50 for his time. he saves us quite a bit of money, and explained that our problem is not insulation but poor balancing of the HVAC system. He then recommended a company in the area. Thanks again for saving us money and helping us troubleshoot our heating problem. Highly recommend!!!!

Description of Work: Ross is great. I have used three other inspectors, this was the best. Don't look any more, just hire them and he will tell you everything you need to know. You might not always like what he finds, but he finds it.

Description of Work: I used Inspector Dan Cullen at Domicile for 2 home inspections this spring. Dan was very thorough; even the seller's agent as well as my agent commented on his thoroughness. He takes his time and looks at everything. The first place I bid on had many safety issues - the worst being a furnace setup that was out of city code and could have had fatal consequences. There was also issues with a gas leak in the kitchen, which Dan was able to confirm with a hand-held gadget, and water behind the walls in the tub (I never would have seen it) which he also confirmed with a different hand-held gadget. Dad was very candid about the state of the property, and I truly appreciated that. He let me know that I could have been getting myself into a property with lots of big issues. He saw things I could not have, and let me know. You can tell he knows his stuff about what good construction should be because he explains what the roof should look like, how things should be installed, etc. He also calls out safety hazards. After the bad house, Dan inspected my dream home and although it was newer construction, but he still did a detailed walk through of everything from A to Z and gave me tons of maintenance tips. He is frank about what needs to be fixed or replaced and I feel more comfortable as a first time home buyer because of his advice. He takes digital photos of everything and provides a detailed report. The prices are very reasonable. I would use him again and will recommend him to my friends. I found Domicile and Angie's List and there are good reviews there as well.
