If only all service providers could work this well! My garage door would not open all the way. I left a message for Diamond on Thursday. He called back a few hour later and we figured out a time the net day for him to repair the door. (Not a time range, but an actual time. We said 12 noon, he was here at 12 noon.) He looked at the door and the whole opening system. Made adjustments to the spring and the motor. Viola! The door works again. He even helped me change the light bulb in the opener. All for $75.00.

Our issues was the garage door would open, but would not close because the sensors were not working. After leaving a voice message we received a call back in less than an hour. He was able to come out to assess and fix the problem within 24 hours. Phoned us that morning to see if we were able to meet earlier since a prior appointment finished sooner than expected. We appreciated this since it was a Saturday. This guy was very knowledgeable and didn't try to oversell. Garage door now works perfect and the system itself is just like new. Couldn't be more happier.

I called and left voicemail in the afternoon and was called back within a half hour. Scheduled an appointment for the next morning and he showed up within the half hour window given. The problem was that the garage door opener had been attached to a piece of wood that had been nailed to the brick wall above the garage door and that piece of wood had ripped free. It was clear that he knew his stuff because he immediately noticed a number of details: the opener itself was labelled as 2004 (even though it was sold to me and installed by another company in 2014!); a piece of the wood garage door had been cut out to make room for some part of a new spring mechanism; the previous installer of the opener had put one of the screws through the wood right into electrical conduit that went to the light outside the garage (which we haven't used for years due to being on a strange timer system that we never really figured out, so we would not have noticed if the opener installation caused the light to stop working); the man unit was attached to the roof with a bracket that could allow for installation offset from the center to avoid the front attachment issue with the electrical conduit. He set right to work: securely installing a piece of plywood for attachment at the front of the garage to the right of the conduit and moved the opener over. He also added a bracket to the garage door so that the opener was not attached only at a single point at the top. When I heard the test opening and closing of the opener, I was amazed at how much quieter it was because it had been very noisy since that opener was installed. The reason it was quieter is that he replaced the top pair of rollers which had been worn out. Then he noticed that the ends of the rubber weather strip at the bottom of the door were being held up by duck tape. I sheepishly admitted that although I had bought a replacement weather strip back in the summer, that I had not gotten around to installing it and so I had taped it up when it started to fall off. So he got a couple of nails from his truck and nailed the ends up. I was relieved that he didn't even suggest selling and installing a new weather strip since I was planning to either do it myself or hire have a handyman do it later along with some other miscellaneous jobs. He mentioned that the garage door itself was 60 years old---it must have a date somewhere on it that he saw. I remember that more than a decade ago when the roller track was rusting out that another garage door company tried to sell us on replacing the nice heavy wood sectional garage door which was in good shape with some cheap metal one. I am so happy that I found a garage door company that is honest and competent and will fix a door or opener instead of pushing an expensive sale of something that you don't actually need.

He showed up almost exactly at 8AM, after I emailed him just the night before. it was going to snow the next day, and I really wanted to get the cars back in the garage. It was great that he could come by on such short notice. He diagnosed the problem in 30 seconds, and had replacement parts off his truck in no-time. He finished in about an hour, the spent 30 minutes tweaking other outdated parts of the opener, greasing hinges, and he even replaced a wheel, all at no additional charge. I will definitely use Diamond again.

Excellent. Diamond came out the same day, within 90 minutes of calling. Door was repaired and tuned up in less than an hour.

Came home late at night and my garage door wouldn't open more than a foot and wouldn't close either. One bracket had sheared off and pole holding up door was warped. I emailed Diamond Garage Door at midnight and got a call the next morning. He arrived within the hour. Fortunately/unfortunately he was familiar with my townhouse complex and our garage doors. He advised getting a new door which I would like to do, but will need the association's OK on that. Since I needed the door to work asap, he replaced the pole and fixed up the entire torsion system & oiled. The door is now running much more smoothly and quietly than it had before. Highly recommend!!!

Eddy had been recommended by two separate sources we knew. He is a great salesman who actually comes through. He is not complicated; He does not ask for "total amount" upfront (believe it or not the Costco sub contractor demanded that!) He came on time. He did it all in one day. I am sending him full payment today.

Eddie was punctual and very professional. Even when he had to work around all the junk in my garage, and moved his car several times (it was park in the alley), he did not complain. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and provided quality springs, wheels, and an impressive garage door opener. The garage door opener he provided was very sophisticated. It does not appear to be the basic, cheap kind. It is very quiet in operation, has many wireless features, and a keypad. He worked quickly and precisely, taking no more than 2 hours combined, and cleaned up good too. I think he is a nice guy would use him again.

Very responsive - said he'd be there within the hour and was. Did the work plus more. I was very pleased and will not hesitate to call on Diamond in the future.

One year later, it's still working perfectly.

Scheduling and communication where easy via web and Angie's List. Came out the next day and was on time. Solved the problem in under 10 mins and also check out basic operation of door. No issues since

The repairman showed up on time. I was so lucky he was able to come on a Sunday and he did not even charge extra for the weekend. He fixed it and showed me how much more stable the brackets were to hold the heavy unit up. When there was noise coming from the box, he stayed until it was corrected. I loved it -- wish all contractors were as thorough and prompt ! ! ! Thank you, Diamond.

I think we were starting to use our garage door and having a problem with it. He spends some time going over the door with me and explained what the problems were and how we can improve the performance. He really did a nice job. When he was done, the door worked perfectly. I appreciated that he took the time to explain what we needed to do. I was very happy with the service. If you needed some attention done to the door, this guy would really do a nice job. He truly knew his staff. He was very professional and understood the workings of the door and the particular brand that I use. He was very quick to correct the problem and take care of it.
