Everything breaks on a weekend or holiday. Called to see if someone was on duty and would have gladly paid the holiday surcharge, but the necessary parts were not in the shop. The tech was familiar with the type of garage door I have, came the next day and replaced the springs in 30 minutes.

It went great. Extremely responsive on the phone—I ended up reaching Eddie, one of the owners while he was on his way to another job and he fit us in the same afternoon (possibly in part because luck would have it he was already doing a job a block a way). Eddie was prompt, professional and knowledge. I explained we were having problems with our garage door every once in a while when it would go up a couple of feet, then stop. Upon pressing the button again it would go down and then not work until it was manually reset. We thought this might be a wiring issue, but Eddie took one look and knew the issue was mechanical...specifically the springs on the door were intended for a single car wood garage door—we have a 2-car garage with a metal door. This caused the door to be extra heavy to lift and meant our door motor had been working overtime and why it would just stop 5-10% of the time. Upon inspection Eddie saw that our gears and chain had likely been replaced in the past (he was correct) and therefore offered us 3 options from lowest to highest: put in a 1) new center spring system, 2) new spring system and controller (motor & chains) or 3) new spring system, controller and door. All 3 were viable options, but we chose the least expensive in hopes that the controller/motor will last for a while once the new spring system removes the unnecessary stress and weight. Eddie scheduled the work for the next morning and even showed up early (due to low traffic). Work was completed quickly/efficiently and very professionally while friendly at the same time. The door now can be lifted manually with one finger. Literally, ONE finger. Couldn't be happier with the entire experience and while not inexpensive it was absolutely fair for the work completed.

Good company. They called me to see if they could come earlier. The man was polite and was here for 15 minutes. The door was opening and closing properly and both remotes now work. Just thought it was a bit pricey for 15 minutes $140.00. Other than the price, I have no complaints about the work they did. I would hire them again, but would call other companies for pricing.

It went perfectly. When I called them they said no problem and would be there within the hour. He was there in 30 minutes. Scheduled the work to be done the next day. He said he would be there between 9 and 10 am. He was there at 9:02. He was extremely professional, punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything to me, why it needed, or should be, done. He even went the extra mile on some things that he didn't have to do, like suggesting the rerouting of the sensor wires. Made some good suggestions without being in the least bit pushy.

I called, they came and quickly replaced the spring - quick, clean, fairly priced. Can’t ask for more.

He arrived promptly and quickly determined that sensors needed to be spaced away from the doorway due to a brush assembly at bottom of door. This required extra parts and labor to create custom spacers and install the sensors. That was all that I had asked for. He saw that the door, the drive, and the guides were out of alignment due to garage damage. He re-aligned those, lubricated everything, and replaced a mis-installed wheel on one of the springs. The door now works quietly and smoothly, without jerking. He was fast, thorough, efficient and knowledgeable.

Great, timely and reasonably priced

The work was done well and very quickly. The gentleman who came also checked and lubricated the garage door rollers.

Overall, the outcome was good - the door moves up and down again. It was more expensive than I thought was fair, and often when trying to contact him during the course of the job his cell phone mailbox was full. He called 2 weeks after the job was finished wondering where payment was, even though he cashed the check within 7 days of completing the job. All in all, I am happy the job is done, but to do it over again, I will look for another provider.

Over the phone the owner listened to my issues and asked me if there were any Phillips LED bulbs near the opener, noting that he had experience with these openers before. He also told me that if this did not work, the first company's diagnosis would then be correct and their credit for the new board would make continuing with the first company the cheapest and best option. As it turns out, after removing LED bulbs from the area and resetting a few clickers, I looks like Diamond solved my problem and relieved my frustration, while also probably saving me the cost of a new opener of about $450. This guy deserves a good review for his knowledge and skill.

They knew right away what was wrong and needed fixing. I'd hire them in a heartbeat if the need arises in the future.

Everything was fixed promptly. Very satisfied with the work.

On Xmas eve our garage door stopped going up more than 1ft, due to one of the springs breaking. I called on the 26th late in the afternoon and they were at our house first thing the next morning and had fixed the springs and the issue that helped cause the springs to fail.

I called Diamond Garage, they returned my call on a timely basis and they came in the time frame that they gave me. They removed the codes and frequency that the previous company applied. They, then stayed around and tested what they did and it worked perfectly. Even though only time will tell if it all worked, I'm confident that this time, the fix will stick. Both gentlemen seemed very knowledgeable and were patient with this old lady.

It worked great. Great service and not like other companies that would charge money just for coming out and doing a simple thing. They told me to try to wipe the sensors off and that worked great. Awesome company!

No one from Diamond has called back in the week since. I called someone else, Precision Garage Door, this morning. Someone came out this afternoon, looked at the door, and convinced me it would be more cost effective to replace my 45-year old solid wood door with a new one out of aluminum. He'll be replacing it soon. Shame. Diamond could have had the business.

They came out within an hour and the job was done within 30 minutes. Super helpful - pointing out future problems and solutions when I needed them. I will use them from now on!

I called and Eddie came out within a very short time (actually only an hour or two, I think), diagnosed the problem, and replaced the broken spring. The work was done quickly and efficiently. He even tuned everything up at no extra charge. He explained what he was doing and, most importantly, did not try to sell me anything I did not need. The price was right; actually less than I expected. Dealing with Diamond Garage turned out to be one of those cases where everything just went great. Ant the garage door still works perfectly.

Very well. My garage door spring broke. The door would not open without a great deal of effort. I called Diamond and a technician was on-site within a few hours. I had a spring system with one on each side. It was the original spring system that was installed when the garage was built 15 years ago. The technician explained that this was an inferior system that was installed to save the garage builder a bit of money. The technician recommended a center spring system for the replacement. He did not have some of the necessary hardware in his truck so the repair had to wait until the next morning. He showed up earlier than planned the next day and put in a center spring system. He said that 90 plus percent of garages have this type. He was finished in an hour or so. The door opens great. It is a little squeaky at times. But it opens the door smoothly.

I couldn't be happier with Diamond and highly recommend them! Door has been in operation for 3 months now and no problems.

Just couldn't be happier. My wife called and said the garage door opener made a strange and unnatural sound and the door would not go up. I contacted the company and left a message. Less than one hour later someone called me back. After another hour a technician was at our house. He easily diagnosed the problem which was that the carrier unit was faulty. This was replaced. He also tightened some bolts on the tracks and lubricated everything. Finally, he made sure the door went up and down to our satisfaction before he left. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Wife needed to go to work in the early morning, but the garage door couldn't open. I manually lifted it to get two cars out, but now the door would not close. A closer look reveals that one of spring broke in the middle and cables were tangled due to lack of tension. It was 6:30am and I worried to have the door open overnight. Since Ed did quite a few jobs around where I live, I called him and left a message. In two hours, Ed returned the call and agreed to come over around 9-10am. By 8:40am, he was already in forint of my house! He replaced both springs in a little bit over one hour. I am very pleased with his work and professionalism. Especially, his timely response is greatly appreciated. In these days, it is easy to find someone who can fix a garage door, but when he/she is available to actually do the work is another matter. Highly recommended!

Excellent. Prompt, friendly employee was able to identify that the gears in the opener were broken. Recommended replacement and now the door works great. Would definitely recommend!
