I called on a Monday morning to request an appointment. Diamond was there within 3 hours, and handled the request quickly and easily. The total cost to reattach the garage door mechanism and the drywall came to about $80, and they were done in about an hour.

The work went very well. Eddie came out the day after I placed a call to the company. He explained that our Stanley garage door openers could not be repaired because the company no longer made door openers. The doors were over 10 years old. We agreed upon replacement doors and he returned the following work day to do the work. He replaced the openers, overhead tracks, springs and rollers, adjusted the side tracks and oiled everything. He completed the work efficiently and cleaned up completely.

Diamond came to our condo to give an estimate only but ended up doing the work at the same time. We were surprised at the affordability. I also requested another opener which was programmed for me on the spot (That was in addition to the repair fee). The whole experience was professional.

He was great! He came out within the hour that I had contacted him, and then was in and out quickly.

I called. They came within hours, fixed the door and billed me. It was great.

I went to take the trash out through the garage at 9 a.m. The opener started, then jammed. I couldn't open the door manually. I was frantic, because I had promised to accompany someone to a medical appointment at 3 p.m. and couldn't get the car out. Diamond answered on the third ring at 10 a.m. and promised service by noon and that I would make my appointment. Service arrived at 11:30 a.m. The car was out by noon. The job was complete by 12:30 p.m. I made the appointment.

I called after I realized the nylon gears on my garage door opener were stripped. I found the company of Angie's list, called them, and a friendly guy answered right away. He said he could have someone come out within the hour, and that he would call from the alley. As promised, even though there was plenty of snow on the ground, I got a call from the technician about 45 minutes later calling from his van in the alley, exactly as promised. When I asked how long it would take, he said about half an hour. He was extremely efficient, and the job was done just like he said in about 30 minutes. The price was as quoted, and everything went perfect. It took less than an hour and a half from the time I picked up the phone to the time the job was done; on a Saturday afternoon. I couldn't be happier.

I called Diamond at 7am to look at our doors. They were here by noon. The doors were off the track and we needed the whole system adjusted so that the doors raised just a little higher to accommodate a new (higher) vehicle. Even though our doors and opener are old and horribly installed (by the previous homeowner/handyman - not a professional), he was able to get it up and running. Others may have just tried to sell us new doors. He put these back in working order.

Diamond came out to fix the door. They didn't find anything significantly wrong. It worked after the serviceman left, but soon the problem returned. Diamond returned a day or two later and the problem has been resolved.

Diamond came over on a Saturday afternoon and after discussing our options, we decided on purchasing a new door with all the railings as well as a new garage door opener. They scheduled installation on the next Tuesday morning. Tuesday came around and they were late, but to their credit, called ahead to let me know that they were running late and would arrive within the hour. They were here within the hour and after three hours of work, completed the installation without a hitch. They pointed out all the features of the garage door opener and were very through with what they had done. I would recommend Diamond Garage Door Repair for anyone looking for reliable service.

Tony was a class act. Called him on a Saturday at 9am and he was out by 11:45 the same morning. I felt that Tony was honest and was NOT afraid (like some other companies I called) of our unique garage door situation (opens side to side and not up and down). Helped us resolve the immediate problem and offered solutions for down the road. Very reasonable price; didn't charge extra to come out on a weekend. Thanks, Tony.

The first time this co. came out, they did a great job and charged me $90 for materials and about 1/2 hour's work. I called them back a second time about a month later to make a small adjustment, which took less than 10 min. and needed no new materials. (In fairness to the co. the problem was my fault and I was prepared to pay.) I was shocked when the repairman said the fee was $55. When asked ''why so much for such little work?'', he replied it's a $55 dollar service charge, no matter how little the job. I don't believe that a follow-up visit of such short duration and no new materials should cost so much. I stated this and was told it's because of the price of gas. Come on!! If I filled your whole tank, it would cost me less than $55 and last the repairman at least a few days. I hate this service charge mininum that so many companies charge. If you ask me, it's highway robbery and shows no respect for the consumer.

This was kind of an emergency situation and Eddie was extremely helpful over the phone, accommodating, and came two days after I called to perform the work. He even performed the work on a Saturday. He and his colleague were very professional and did a quick and high quality job. They were extremely responsive and I would highly recommend them.

Answered the phone when I called, and arranged a time to come out to replace the garage door with a Liftmaster model. Offered to come out earlier when another job finished early, but I couldn't come home. This is our second time using them. If we need to, we'll definitely use them again.

The wheels on my overhead garage door continually came off the track. I had also been thinking about getting an electric garage door opener, but my most immediate need was to get the door working properly. The problem got worse two days before we were going on vacation, so I wanted quick service. My call was returned promptly, and an appointment made for the next day. The worker arrived within the 1 hour window promised, patiently answered all of my questions, explained what was needed, and what it would cost, and worked efficiently. We hadn't quite decided on getting an electric opener--he didn't push us to buy one and in fact said the company could install later. We did decide to do it; I checked the opener the company uses in Consumer Reports, and it is the top-rated model. I'm not sure how their prices compare, because I didn't get other bids, but it seemed reasonable for the prompt and excellent service.

EXCELLENT, SAME DAY RESPONSE FOR IMMEDIATE PROBLEM AND NEXT DAY SERVICE FOR COMPLETE REPAIR. ON TIME AND COURTEOUS.

WE JAMMED THE DOOR COMING HOME FROM OUT OF TOWN THE SATURDAY AFTER THANKSGIVING, KNOCKING THE CHAIN OFF THE DRIVE SPROCKET; THEN IN RESETTING IT TWISTED THE DRIVE SPROCKET OFF THE SHAFT! WE CALLED THEM BASED ON THEIR LISTING HERE FOR A MONDAY REPAIR; THEY CALLED FIRST THING MONDAY AND WE AGREED ON A 2 PM MEETING. THE WORKMEN WERE VERY PLEASANT AND QUICKLY REPLACED THE GEAR DRIVE PARTS AND ADJUSTED THE SYSTEM TO GET THE DOOR WORKING; THEY ALSO COMMENTED ON ODD ORIGINAL INSTALLATION FEATURES AND ON ILL-FITTING REPLACEMENT SPRINGS INSTALLED BY OTHERS. WE CERTAINLY WILL CALL DIAMOND AGAIN.

DIAMOND SAVED ME. THEY CAME OUT TO REPAIR A DOOR I STUPIDLY BACKED INTO. OUR NEIGHBORHOOD IS NOT THE KIND YOU CAN LEAVE YOUR GARAGE DOOR OPEN OVER NIGHT AND EXPECT TO HAVE YOUR BELONGINGS IN THE MORNING. IF IT WEREN'T FOR DIAMOND, I WOULD HAVE HAD TO SLEEP OUT IN THE GARAGE ALL NIGHT. AS IT WAS, IT TOOK THEM 45 MIN TO GET HERE, 30 MINUTES TO REPAIR THE DOOR AND 10 MORE MINUTES FOR ME TO GET TO BED.

THEY WERE ON TIME AND VERY INFORMATIVE, GAVE MAINTENANCE SUGGESTIONS TO HELP ME REDUCE NOISE OF MY GARAGE DOOR.

CALLED AND DESCRIBED PROBLEM, THEY GAVE ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE AND OFFERED TO COME RIGHT OVER. I SCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT DAY AND THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND FIXED OPENER ALSO ADJUSTED TRACK. WORKER WAS FRIENDLY AND WORKED QUICKLY.
