Description of Work: Replaced old garage door rollers, lubricated thanks, hinges, adjusted garage door opener. Old creaky door now opens quietly. Did not pressure me with up selling, but respectfully offered info on replacing our 48 year old door. I would use his service to get that job done._x000D_|_x000D_|Could have been a bit more responsive to the purchase & getting the job a scheduled, but that was of no important consequence.

Description of Work: The garage opener track was out of line due to a crack in the wood on one side of the door. Screws were put in to hold the track in the right position. The door runs freely now and works fine.

Description of Work: Tony from Diamond Doors came out as scheduled. I was hoping that the door only needed reconditioning, but Tony pointed out that the springs (installed by someone else) were the wrong kind, was taxing the motor and that was the reason the garage door wasn't opening properly. He explained that the eye sensors also weren't operating properly. I asked him for an estimate for a new garage door opener, springs, new eye sensors, rollers, etc., which I thought was fair and scheduled him to complete the job in a few days.

Description of Work: Diamond Garage Door contacted me the day I purchased the deal to schedule the appt. Eddie, the technician, actually arrived earlier than planned but he let me know in advance. It worked out better actually to start earlier. Eddie explained to me what he would do, and I mentioned a couple of items that I wanted him to look at 1) one door not closing completely and 2) the bulb on one closer being shaken loose and going out when vibration from door shook it. Eddie took care of both items, and was finished in a couple of hours. He pointed out to me some of the shortcuts the original installer had taken (no surprise there) and he fixed what he could. He offered some advice on keeping the doors working well with regular oil applications (every 6 months). I was very pleased with Eddie's work and would recommend Diamond.

Description of Work: Technician arrived to service door as scheduled. Realized it was a commercial style garage door, even though this is a single family home. Explained they only service residential doors which are much lighter. They do not carry parts for the much heavier door that I have. Said to call Angie's List and ask for refund.

He assured us that he could have his partner, Tony, at our home in under 2 hours! And indeed this was so! Arriving promptly, Tony was quite friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, efficient!... In prompt fashion, he had our garage door fixed! ...We truly appreciated the great service (which even has a guarantee) and would most definitely recommend this company to all!..Thanks!

Description of Work: On a Friday night after work I decided to bite the bullet and hire someone to sych my garage door opener with my car's system -- every family member had taken a turn trying to do it and finally decided that my clicker was just too antiquated. The phone response was polite and professional -- someone could come out in the morning on Saturday and determine what needed to be done and the work (if I needed a new opener, etc.) could be done next week. Tony called in advance on Saturday morning (as I had requested) and arrived at the time we had agreed on. After looking at the component he determined that what I had "should" work, but that there was a setting on the receiver in the garage that needed to be tweaked. He spent ten minutes and - magically - everything was working the way I needed it to! I paid for a basic service call and we please all around.
