They did an excellent job. Eric arrived when he said he would, explained what would need to be repaired, outlined replacement options and set to work. Wouldn't hesitate to use his service again.

The guys from Crystal were fantastic. From the person I spoke with on the phone to make the appointment to the two guys that came out and did the work, everyone was extremely professional. The work was completed on-time and on the day scheduled. Will definitely use them again for any garage door needs.

Overall rating 100. Eric Wozny, Derek, and the installers provided outstanding, professional, FAST service. I returned home at 1:30 pm on a Wednesday to find my overhead garage door wide open, half the door hanging off the track, panels pried and kicked in, unable to electronically or manually close the door. We were robbed. But we still had valuable items in the garage, so I desperately needed to close the door and replace it. My neighbor referred me to Crystal Door. (I couldn't get to my computer to review Angie's List). Eric Wozny took my call at about 2:30; by 4:00 Derek arrived to examine the situation, to close the door and to assure me that they would return early evening to install the new door replacement because they had to pick it up in Franklin Park. Eric called me about an hour later and apologetically said they would have to return the next morning between 10 am and Noon to install the new door. The men arrived at 10 am and completed the installation by 11 am.

I was very satisfied with the service I received from Crystal Door. In particular, I was impressed with how the owner handled my confusion over what time the work was to begin. I misunderstood when I made the appointment that the workers would arrive at 9:00 and be done at about 11:00. Actually the 9:00-11:00 time frame was an approximate window for arrival time only. At about 8:30 the installers called to confirm my info and said they would try to be at my house NLT 1200!? I called Eric,the owner, and after some clarification and some goodwill compensation, I was happy again. Their prices were slightly higher than other companys but based on customer service, I would recommend/use Crystal Door, Inc.again. The installers showed up at 1:00 and did a great job.

No complaints. I left a message with them early Thursday and I didn't get to speak to anyone until the following day. But even on short notice, they were able to come out that afternoon. The person I spoke with on the phone gave me a price for spring replacement if that's what the problem turned out to be (which it was). The guys who did the work weren't the most professional, but that's ok. They gave me a couple of options then got the job done.

Mike did a great job on the installation. He was a bit late arriving, but did call ahead to let me know. Very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining features of the new opener.

My husband installed a garage door opener but it wasn't working. I called and they came out soon after to fix the door. It took about an hour to complete and they were able to patiently explain the problems to me.

I called Eric on a Saturday afternoon and he was willing to send someone out right away, but we opted for Monday morning. The technician was right on time, even called in advance of arrival so we could meet him at the garage in the alley. We have a unique costumed designed garage with an attic, so he explained he would have to replace the entire unit, there would be more work involved than just replacing a chain. He had to cut out some wood for better access and built a frame in the attic of the garage to house the new unit. By building the frame in the attic it allowed the door to open higher than the 5 feet it used to. Now it goes up nearly 6 feet. It was a great solution. He was friendly, worked very quickly and we are happy with the results. The last company who repaired just the chain 5 years ago charged us $150 dollars. So this seemed like a real bargain.

Great! The were courteous when I called, set up an appointment for following day. Called before arriving on time. The door was making noise. Suggested replacing original steel rollers with nylon. Work was completed promptly - door is much quieter. They came when they said - repaired the door promptly for the price they quoted. You can't ask for any more.

The technician arrived within the time frame given, and after telling him the issue he explained there was a simple fix to the problem. He relocated the sensors on the outside of the mounting bracket, as the oversized strut on our wood door was tripping the sensor. While the sensors themselves are not protected anymore, at least our belongings in the garage are, as the door closes just fine now. He also checked on the opener. He said it was one of the best we could buy and would likely never have to replace it (good news for us). He also gave us an estimate on a new door when we decide to replace the old one. (Note: I gave the technician a B mark on professionalism in that he answered his phone during our conversation, although he did try to make the call brief and apologized. I wasn't terribly offended as I was happy to have someone checking on the door! It was no big deal, but the point is he could have answered the call after my appointment).

Derek came out as promised, on time, and assessed the situation. He first rewired the existing opener, but it still didn't work right. The wiring was only one of the problems, and there was no way to know of the other issues until the wiring was re-done. Derek then suggested replacing the entire unit, as replacing the circuit board. Among other things, it would have taken more time, another visit, and almost the same cost. I agreed, and Derek replaced my unit with a much better, brand new Liftmaster unit. He didn't charge for time or materials for the work done before realizing that replacing the broken unit made more sense. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and clean. He cleaned up the entire mess afterwords, and was a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend Crystal Door to anyone who needed garage work and/or repairs.

This was a project for a shared garage, so our neighbor from the condo association dealt with the guy that came. From my perspective, our garage was fixed and it seemed very quick and reasonable.

Came on time for the estimate. When I decided to go with them though it was difficult to get someone to call me back. I left three messages (all of which saying I was ready to buy) and spoke to two different people who promised to call back when they ''pulled my ticket'' but never did. Finally one of the managers called and got me scheduled. Despite the initial missteps the installation went fine and the door works perfectly.

Technican arrived on time and finished work in less than 10 minutes.

They were great. They were a little pricey, but they did a good job professionally and were on time.

I initially had an appointment scheduled for Saturday but they did not show up and I left a message. They called back on Monday morning and said there was a glitch in their system and they could come out that day at 4:00. The servicemen did not arrive until almost 6:00 pm because of their work log, but I was assured that I would not be forgotten this time. The servicemen were very friendly, even in the freezing weather, and quickly diagnosed the problem of the broken springs and bent door. They fixed the broken springs and added the support brace, and provided good conversation while doing so, even explaining the details when I asked. The door works great, so I am very happy with the results, even with the initial problems of the company missing my first appointment.

Service was honest and timely. They left the place as clean as they found it. The price was more than fair.

It went very well. They scheduled me for 2 days after my call. They did not ask for a huge window of time for installation. The men on the crew called 30 minutes prior to arrival and then when they arrived in the driveway. Luis was very professional, respectful, and helpful. He programmed the button in my car, helped me program the keypad before he left (without my request), explained the buttons and each of the receivers as well as the safety eyes. He made sure I had the warranty information, explained it, and knew which booklets applied to what. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Very well. Door now working. He worked by himself and it was freezing cold outside.

Eric called back within the day. He gave thorough, helpful information about what options were available. He referred me to the liftmaster website for product comparison information. We were scheduled within a day. Guys were on time, efficient, and pleasant.

Fixed the strut and got the garage door back on track!

I called on Monday AM to get someone to replace weather stripping under garage door. No big emergency. Received a call back within twenty minutes and made an appointment for Wednesday AM. They arrived, were prompt and courteous. Gave us options and preformed work quickly. Isn't that the way it ought to be?
