The representative was very accommodating and helpful. I had to cancel the original appointment due to snow and he was glad to oblige. He came on time. Inspected the garage door for safety (checked the springs) and tried the garage door openers (we had been having trouble with them. They weren't working as well). He didn't try to sell us anything, but instead told me that we didn't need a new system and that there may be some interference in the neighborhood so we should be sure to hold down the button on the opener to make sure it will work.

Excellent response. They were there on-time and suggested replacing a stripped gear in the garage door motor, rather than replacing the motor entirely, saving us some money. Work was completed the same day. Service was friendly and efficient.

Our garage door decided to stop opening. I called Crystal Door on Saturday and scheduled a Monday appointment. I received a call Sunday evening that they had just realized that we were actually outside of their normal service area, but they would honor the appointment anyway. I told them they did not need to, but they insisted. Joe came by early Monday morning and had it fixed in about 15 minutes. He was very courteous and professional. If there was an A+ rating I would give it to them. Great service!

I called Crystal Door on Wednesday, after the New Year's holiday, and talked with Joey on whether his company can fix our door. I set time for Joey to inspect and fix the door on the next day, Thursday. Joey arrived on time, replaced and re-tensioned the springs on the garage door, replaced the emergency latch & re-lubed the screw of the garage door opener. Total time until my garage door worked again was about 1-hour.

We were serviced within a couple of days. Joey came and replaced needed parts. He also took the time to oil all parts of system. Door works more quietly than when it was new. Door opens and remains open, as it is now adjusted correctly. Would use Crystal again.

My garage door didn't close. Crystal Door saw that it needed only a minor adjustment in the electric eye, a 5 minute task to correct. The job was so small, he didn't charge me. The door works now.

Excellent. He had all the parts with him and explained everything thoroughly.

Crystal Door was great. Our garage door was only opening a couple of inches, then stopping. I called Crystal Door for help. Ann was very helpful on the phone. They weren't able to come out that day, but they had an opening the next day (Saturday). Eric was prompt, quickly found the problem, and also checked the garage door for safety issues. He was professional and honest.

Our condo association called Crystal Door to repair a non-functioning door for a 3-car garage, and to replace a broken wall opener. They came out to fix the door, and adjusted the laser sensor, and everything seemed OK. A couple days later, the door started to malfunction again. I called and they returned the next day and repaired a bracket, and this seems to have solved the problem for good. While it was a bummer to have to call them out a second time, I appreciated that they responded very quickly and professionally and they didn't even try to charge extra for the second visit. I also asked if they could provide some portable openers (i.e., something to carry on a keyring), since we only had the larger openers that you keep in the car. Eric, the owner, came a couple days later to deliver these; the cost above includes 5 openers. Eric gave us a discount because we belong to Angie's. Very happy with service and professionalism of staff.

Called on a Tuesday and they were available to come out on Friday morning. They were initially just going to do an estimate but I called back and said I would like it to be fixed if possible. The rep. arrived on time and fixed the door and made sure the rest of the garage door was in working order.

Still waiting to hear; hope this has a happy ending and I can replace my F with an A.

The experience was fine. They sent a technician out within two days of my call. He showed up within his promised time frame and quickly identified the problem. As I expected, he suggested we replace the whole system. He pointed out he could change the sensors and then have the rest of the system break down soon. The door system is probably 15 years old, but I'm betting it will hold out for a few more years. They were supposed to return on the following Monday to replace the sensors, but didn't call me until Wednesday. Given that this was such a small job, I didn't expect to be a priority. They promised a Thursday installation, showed up on time and were done in 15 minutes.

They were excellent in every way. They responded timely to initial phone call, arrived with the new door when they said they would and installed the door better than the previous door had been installed. I was very pleased and recommend them.

They came out right away and took care of the issue. I would use them again.

I was not completely satisfied with the job because I experienced a lot of problems after the work was done. One thing that upset me was that it took me to contact the manager before anything was actually resolved.

Not much to tell really. This company has a great history of customer service, yet failed to return a detailed message I left on their answering machine. Since the scope of work was small, I assume they didn't want to take on a small project. Regardless, call and tell me. I would still respect them as a legitimate company.

I called up on Friday, and they offered to have someone come out the next day. Eric called to confirm times and came out right on time, ready to work, AND with a smile! He was very polite, professional, and went right to work, explaining everything he was doing while he was working. He fixed the door in no time, on the hottest day of the year! Eric was fantastic!

Work was done great, the staff was helpful and well informed.

Tech suggested it was the circuit board. He told me someone would call me the next day with an estimate for the work. I also requested an estimate to completely replace the opener in case the two options would be cost comparable. I waited. No one called me for 2 weeks (I was out of town one of the weeks and wasn't able to call until this week) I called and asked for an update regarding my estimate for the work and was told by the woman I spoke with that she would check on it and call me back. That was 3 days ago; no return call. Very disappointing!

I couldn't be more pleased. One of the springs on our garage door had snapped. Eric came out and inspected the door. He spoke to my wife and talked about our options. Our garage is an older garage, but other than the garage door, is in pretty good shape. We decided that a new door was the best choice, vs replacing the spring, patching the door or even building a new garage. Eric was very patient and thorough answering all of our questions, from the width of the door to the different styles of door. We even talked about the different insulation, that doors come with these days. He definitely knows garage doors. The crew that installed the door was professional and polite. They also, cleaned up really well, after they finished. Just an all around positive experience.

The work was done quickly and properly. They came out within 3 days of calling. I would use them again. Excellent!

My husband called Crystal Doors at 5 P.M one evening and the next morning they called back and offered to come out that day. Luis did a great job repairing the door. He even remembered that I was planning to give him an Angie's List coupon, so he waited while I printed it out. He also worked around my schedule. I work at home and am on the phone a lot, so we chose a time that would allow me to be available to answer the door and talk to him about the garage door. It was a great experience! I'm just sorry we didn't call Crystal Doors sooner. We could have had a working door last week when it happened.

The service tech came out to inspect broken springs within 3 days. He gave some options for new doors, but did not seem that knowlegeable. When I called Eric at the office, he gave me more information to make the decision to repair rather than replace the door. The techs who installed new springs did an adequate job but left discarded parts around and needed to come back to fix a broken bolt. I would have appreciated a better clean-up job.

Based on the high praise on Angie's List, I chose Crystal. Eric was pleasant and professional on the phone. I called at 9 a.m and he promised someone would be out between 1 and 4 p.m. At 1:45 Jerry called to say he was 15 minutes away. He diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes: wires to one of two sensors were frayed and detached. He wrapped wires to both sensors in tape and it solved all the problems. Jerry then did a full inspection, lubricated the rails with silicon spray, showed me how to replace the worn-out wall button and explained some existing safety features on the springs. The whole visit lasted about 15 minutes and fixed a long-standing and very annoying problem.
