They came on a Sunday. They stated the garage door was warped because our neighbors have been backing into it. They did a very nice job. They were prompt and knowledgeable. They did not try to sell us a new garage door but instead they repaired it. Now the door works fine. They did a very nice job.

Our garage door refused to open despite our best intentions, back aches, and profanity. Once we'd exhausted our knowledge of garage door repair I climbed a ladder hoping to find some simple obstruction. But there it was, a broken overhead coil spring. I'd heard stories of horrific injuries when homeowners naively attempt to self-repair one of these springs: Think half-inch tightly-coiled rebar suddenly released, it's razor-sharp sheared end spinning in all directions until it exhausts its tension. That ain't no Slinky up there! The next morning I called Eric Kozny at Crystal Overhead Door who immediately understood our dilemma and promised that Eddie would arrive between noon and 2:00 pm that afternoon. At 10:45 am Eddie called asking if it was convenient should he arrive by 11:00 am? By his concern for my convenience it was clear to me that his focus was on my problem, not his schedule or some other distraction. That's not only customer service, it's customer focus! Eddie arrive exactly as promised, took one look at the broken spring, quoted the same price a different customer had been quoted (which I read here on Angie's List) hinting at their sense of integrity, and I left him to his task. Less than 30 minutes later Eddie was at the back door, garage door fixed, not a scratch on him (obviously a pro at taming the tension of the dangerous broken overhead coil spring), and presented his bill of service. The garage door operates as one would expect: open and close. Crystal Overhead Door on the other hand does not operate as one would expect. They serviced my situation as though it was very important to them. Fantastic Customer Service for a problem as mundane as the dangerous broken overhead coil spring!

I got the service call scheduled right away. Soon after, the serviceman called with an approximate time and was punctual. Explained the problem, gave some options and replaced the worn-out gear. He also gave some tips on how to maintain the garage door. The whole service call took less than half hour.

They were very responsive. They called me back quickly and set up an appointment for the same day. They came when they said they would and showed me what was broken. The service man performed the repair quickly. I was very happy.

My garage door would only go up halfway. I called Chrystal on Thursday and they came on Friday. Of course the door operated fine. The tech adjusted everything and assured me the problem would be solved. So far so good.

Excellent! Highy recommended. I went out to the garage to run an errand around noon on Friday. I noticed that one of the overhead coil springs was broken so the garage door did not open. I called one repair service (AR-BE) and they quoted $195 to replace both springs, but they were booked until Monday. I wanted to get it fixed right away so I called Crystal Overhead Door. They were available to fix the door that day but they quoted $275, so I told them about AR-BE's quote and that I would keep looking for someone else to come out that day, due to their high quote. They called back ~1 minute later and said they would match the AR-BE quote ($195). I gave them the business. The technician showed up at 4PM and complted the repair and also adjusted the chain free of charge. it works great. In addition, they honored the Angie's list coupon for $25 off any service, so the net charge was $170! They were a pleasure to deal with!!

Very old garage door/opener stopped opening. Called Crystal at 9:30 a.m. and the door was fixed the same day. The repair guy came right when he said he would. He looked at the problem and tried for about a half hour to make it work. He thought it might be possible to fix it with an hour or two of work and a replacement chain or that we could just have a new opener installed and be credited for the time spent already. The opener was at least 15 years old, so I was happy to replace it. He was able to complete the work quickly and the door's been working well ever since.

They gave me an estimate that included all of the what-ifs in case some parts that were already on my door didn't work (since we weren't going to be sure until the heavy lifting started) so I had a best and worst case scenario. The price was great, the responsiveness was great, and when Tom came to do the work he was professional, charming, friendly, respectful of my time, everything. I can't believe I'm enthusiastic about a garage door repair company, but frankly they are worth it.

Our first set of emails and phone calls were left unanswered, but on a final attempt to reach them Eric appologized a bunch and from that point everything was great. He said they were supper busy and had some staff issues going on. They returned a last minute phone call to me about the part they were installing and the final work looks great.

The door was slamming too hard so they tightened the spring. They honored a discount and everything is working perfectly! I called them on Monday and they came on Tuesday. I've had other garage door people but they are highly professional and had his parts on the truck. I would recommend them to my friends.

I called on Sunday and they answered immediately. We scheduled a Tuesday service due to the Labor day weekend and they were there as promised.

He did an outstanding job. He was very honest with me and gave me great tips on how to maintain the work.

i called yesterday and they came out first thing this morning to repair our garage door. very friendly and professional. charged for a service call plus minimal labor, and i used the coupon from Angies list. Will definitely use again and recommend to others!

Eric was good to work with. Very responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. Wish I had called him first as he was 3rd provider on Angie's that I reached out to with other two not getting back to me. From initial quote to install was not more than a week or so with most of that time coming as we were deciding on what we wanted. Eric provided suggestions and 3 different websites for us to view as we picked door. He sent his installer out to house day after I called to move forward and install took 3 hours. Install was great and area left clean. only way we would have known that they were there was the new door itself. world of difference for the garage now. Overall a solid experience
