The invoice was fo $1800 so I guess the insp was worth $20 and ther was no special pricing for Angie's members. We were told arrival between 8-12 with a call first. The call did not even come until 2:30. So unprofessional!

Tom was punctual for our appointment and diagnosed the issues efficiently for our garage door that wasn't opening. It was a cold rainy day and I was thankful the work was done in a timely manner. He was polite and very helpful in his advice on how to maintain the garage door to have it working without issues. Tom also cleaned up after himself, which is sometimes neglected with other professionals. Overall, it was a positive experience.

It was a simple process that probably took less than an hour. The garage door repair man showed up on time, quickly replaced the rollers, leaving me the old ones in case I needed them again, then greased the runners. There were no problems, and my garage door sounded much better sliding up and down. Before the repair, it sounded like it wanted to tear free. I was completely pleased with the work.

Wonderful - phone service in setting up/scheduling the appointment was awesome. Among the most professional companies I have dealt with. I actually remarked to my husband, "it's too bad these guys only do garage doors and not whole home repair/remodeling, because I'd want to use them for everything!" Professional, on time (early, in fact, with a call ahead of time to alert me when they'd be there within the window), explained every step of what needed to be done and clearly explained all options. We hope our door will be running smoothly for years to come, but if we ever have another issue, it's a no brainer to call them again. Great experience.

They did a great job. They came out and were here on time and took care of everything. It was not spectacular either way and the job went off very well.

On March 11th, my garage door wouldn't open; motor running but no lift. Went to Angie's list and saw that Crystal had well over 100 reviews and most were very good. I called in the afternoon and received an appointment for the next morning; technician would call between 9-12. I received a call before 9am that Tom was on his way over; the first appointment when I had just called yesterday; pleasantly surprised. Tom was great with explaining to me the parts of the opener and what he believed was wrong. He quoted a price before asking about any coupons I had and then we agreed on the price with the accepted coupon. He got to work right away and finished within an hour. He showed me the old part which showed the obvious wear and tear that was causing the door to not open. Overall, this was a very good experience. Since I am in a condo and we usually all end up with the same things breaking, I have also recommended Crystal, and Tom, to my neighbors. Thanks for the great service!

Let me start by saying that in the end they did a very good job. and I would use them again. 1) they were responsive by telephone and scheduled the service call for shortly after they were contacted.alled. 2) Dave came and gave an extimate. We arranged to have the work done, with my giving a 50% deposit. 3) When the two men came to actually do the work they were pleasant enough but did not introduce themselves. of keep me updated. They worked steadily but one of them was new and the job took them much longer than they had anticipated. They helped temselves to my equipment without asking permission: ladder and electric extension cords. I would have agreed to their using these, but they should have asked and should have then returned the items to where they had been. 4) to be honest I was very unhappy at the end of their work day because our garage was left in disarray, including half drunken cups of coffee, our equipment left out and soiled, mud on the garage floor, etc. there were scattered bits of garbage including metal washers, pieces of cut cable, and the like on the floor. They also had left without saying a word. i only found out they needed to come back o complete the job the next day when I called to complain about the state they left my garage in and the fact they had just disappeared.. Now for the good news. When I called and spoke with the owner. Eric, he apologized and took responsability. He had his brother (Joal) and another worker come out to finish the job. t was very pleased. Gppd wprk and my garage was left s they had found it. . The job had taken much longer than they had estimated, which means a bigger cost to them, but they kept to their agreed charge. They did a very good job in the end. They turned things around very well such that I eould use them again.and I do recommend them.. TIP; watch where they put their stickers. these are nice to have on the garage door and frame but I prtdonslly did not likr hsving one plsced on the wall.

We had done business with Crystal before, but had moved to Access Garage Door as a result of an Angie's List Big Deal. When the garage door system went bad at the end of last week I called Access. Despite promising to come out they did not, nor did they return my calls. So I called Crystal Overhead Doors. Their repair person, Dave, showed up on time, diagnosed the problem immediately and made the repair in twenty minutes. Dave was completely professional, explained the problem, how much service life we could expect as a result of the repair, and how much it would cost to replace the motor down the line if necessary. Crystal Overhead is back on our list and Access is off. I should've stuck with Crystal in the first place.

I used Crystal Overhead Door a few years ago and called them again to fix the garage overhead door. The technician came out and quickly determined the problem and corrected it. He also checked the other parts of the door system. The service call charge was $80 and I was able to use the $25 off Angie's coupon. The tech did excellent work and I was very pleased with the service and I highly recommend CrystalOverhead Door.

Garage door stopped working so I called Crystal because of their rating on Angies List. They said they could come out the next day and I would have to take off work to meet them. They called back 30 minutes later and said they could come the same day and would arrive in about 15 minutes. I was at home and they came and fixed it quickly. The guys were working outside on a very cold day and were cheerful and efficient.

They were fantastic, they have came out several times and I have always been pleased. They are very professional and answered all my questions.

I called first thing this morning with a broken coil on my garage door. I could tell the company was busy because Rick said they had over 25 calls to make today. Dave arrived at 11:15 and fixed the coil using a product that has a longer lasting life than what he would normally use. He charged me the same price as he would for the the lesser life product. The job was complete and finished within 45 minutes and Dave went on his way. I also used a coupon from Angie's List for this company, which was really helpful. Will call them again in the future.

We called because we couldn't close the garage door with the opener, only with the button in the garage, and cleaning the sensors didn't seem to work. At first Eric tried to talk me through realigning the sensors rather than charging me to come out and look at them. That was really nice of him since he could have charged me just to come out and do that. When that didn't work, he sent his guys out the next day and they had to replace both sensors. They were very prompt, professional, and nice, and were very concerned about overcharging. We were using an Angies List coupon and they wanted to make sure that we hadn't paid yet before charging us. We felt good about everything and would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone in their service area. They're clearly honest, fit us in quickly, have good prices, and do good work. Gentleman arrived on time, was very knowledgable, and did his job. I would use this group again.

Service was very fast (perhaps half an hour to complete), done early in the morning, so I didn't miss work, and there was no issue with either having the right parts, or the fact that it was one of the coldest days of the year. Door works like a charm, now. Excellent service overall.

I came home last night to a broken garage door spring. I called Crystal Overhead Door this morning, and made an appointment for between 3 and 5. They were here promptly at 3, and had the whole repair done by 3:55. Joel was very polite and did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

I based my decision to use Crystal based (1) on their positive reviews and (2) their coupon for $75 for $150 worth of services. I needed my garage door seal replaced. They were prompt in returning my initial call and communication was good -- individual who performed service called when he was on his was as requested. Work was done in a timely manner and the quality was excellent.

I called them when our garage door wouldn't open and they came quickly, found the problem and fixed it perfectly. I would definitly call them again if we have any more problems.

This is the second time we've used this company. First time was excellent as well. I called at 3:30 in the afternoon and explained that our garage door wouldn't go up. We can hear the motor but the door won't move. Because we have to go to work and school in the morning, we needed the door to work to get our cars out. Peter came right out. He knew what was wrong and fixed it and we were good to go. I will use this company for all our garage needs because they are are time, know what they're doing, and are fair with what they charge. Highly recommend them.

I tried to leave work early this morning only to find that the garage door spring had completely popped off and the lines completely snapped. I picked out this company based on the fact that they had emergency repair service and were highly rated on the list. I called the office and left a message and was surprised that someone called me back even before the office opened at 8:00am. I was given the option of a regular service call or emergency service and the price breakdown. The cost of each service was very reasonable. Ultimately I decided to save money and go with the regular service. What was wonderful was that the repairman came out the same morning and again provided two options for fixing the problem. Now the door works better than it ever has since we moved into this home ten years ago. I only wish I had realized earlier that we didn't have to live with such a terrible noisy door all these years.
