He did a good job and only charged me another $40 to fix the job. It could have been a lot more. He had everything done within an hour. I would use him again.

Workers came within the hours they said they would be at our home to install garage door. It was cold and snowing outside but they installed the new door within two hours. They took the old garage door with them and did not leave any debris. They were very professional and will recommend them to friends and neighbors.

They were right on time, and it was easy and quick to make appointment and installation. Their service was great and they installed quick and great service. I would definitely recommend these guys. |

It went great! I couldn't get the door open enough to get our car out, which meant I had to miss work to get it fixed. The door broke last night around 10:30pm and I contacted Crystal Overhead Doors first thing when they opened today at 8am. They were very nice and kept in touch with me throughout the day trying to fit me in. They were able to get a tech out to me around 3:45pm and he had the door fixed by 4. The tech was courteous, knowledgeable, and straightforward. I was so glad that they made the effort to get my door fixed today, and that they did such a quick and thorough job. I will definitely use them again for any garage-door related needs, and happily recommend them.

They were right on time and it was easy to make appointment and they installed it quickly because the weather was so cold and I couldn't use my garage door. They installed it quickly and they recommended things that I really needed. I can open and close with my phone now. I had little problem with cable after 2 weeks and they fixed it right away for me. They are really great and I would recommend to them to anyone.

Service came a little later than expected -- was given a 10 - 2 time frame, did not arrive until after 2 pm. Once here, the explanation of repairs and costs was very clear, and the work was done quickly. The garage dorr works fine now.

I didn't know what the problem was, just that my garage door would not open. They were very responsive when I called, and set up a quick appointment time. The tech called before arriving to let me know he'd be there in 5 minutes. The tech explained the problem was a broken spring. Due to the age of the unit (unknown - it came with the house!) he recommended changing both springs. No extra push selling - he fixed the problem, and it works great! I am extremely pleased with the efficiency, time, and price. I will definitely use them again, and refer them to all my friends.

Bought a big deal because my old Liftmaster 3/4hp was no longer working. List when I'd be available and Crystal called me to set up a date and time which was the following Monday. The Friday before, they called to confirm the appointment. Monday I received a call that the installer was going to be able to be at my home earlier than 10am and I told him it would be fine. He arrived as he said and told me he was in the alley behind my garage. I manually opened my garage door. It took him about an hour to install the system. He called me to come set up the code for the exterior keypad as well as to show me how to program and operate the door. He told me about the Internet Gateway that was also available. He was able to answer all my questions and after showing me how to program the controller, had me do it as well. All in all, everything went flawlessly. He did recommend I get a new door and I was aware that I needed one. There where places where the bolts that attach the garage door to the rollers were rotted and I knew I needed and wanted a new steel door. He wrote up the paperwork for the work that was performed, as well as an estimate for the Internet Gateway and a new steel garage door. I was very pleased it the service and would recommend Crystal Overhead Door, Inc. to anyone who needs a new garage door.

Provider was quick in getting back to me and setting up the appointment. No troubles with the technician who was able to install the door opener quickly and show us how to use it.

It turned out really well. They were punctual and delivered a great product. The motor was old. I looked around and a motor with a transmitter installed is in the $700 range so their price of $450 was competitive. The guy that came out was very professional. He installed and I’ve been using the garage with no complaints for the last month.

I contacted Crystal Overhd Door bc door had been coming off track. Repairman Gerardo, made service call-replaced 2 top rollers w/new, longer ones; reset door tracks; generously lubed door tracks. Gerardo was very efficient & accessed the course of action needed to rectify the prob iimmediately, to get the door in working order. I was impressed w/his expert handling of repairs.

Called promptly on after hours line. Offered to come same day for high fee, so we elected to wait a day. Came, did a temp fix until part could arrive and came back to install the part when available. Tom was great.

My experience with Crystal Overhead Door could not have been better. I had them come to fix my garage door which was not opening properly. Setting up the appointment was easy, they even adjusted the time window to fit my work schedule. Tom was the service guy who came out and could not have been nicer. When he got to the house & I attempted to show him the problem, the door began working without any difficulty. My garage door opener was ~ 20-25 years old & did not have any of the current safety features on new doors & with 2 kids I had been thinking about replacing it even before it had started having problems. At no time did Tom put any pressure on to install a new door opener, however he was very informative & I felt very comfortable with him and decided to go ahead & get a new opener. The garage door they installed is fantastic, very quite and seems very safe. After installing the door opener, Tom took the time to walk me through all the features of the door (there are a lot), program the keypad and show me some easy maintenance tips. I highly recommend Crystal Overhead Door (especially Tom) to anyone who needs work on their garage door!

I've used Crystal Door before with happy results. This time was no different. The problem happened Dec. 23, and I was able to get service on Dec. 26. The representative apologized for not being able to help on Dec. 24, but they were booked for the day. When the technician came, I explained what had happened, he diagnosed the problems and worked with the Angie's Deal plus the additional repair. He was fast, and everything is great.

He was professional and punctual. Was very clear on what needed to be repaired and why it needed to be repaired. Absolutely no issues.

Polite and professional installer provided his opinion on repairing an existing or replacing our garage door opener. When I decided to replace our opener, the installer provided his perspective on the types of openers that were available. What I liked was that the installer did not push the need to purchase the opener from The Crystal Door company. I purchased an opener elsewhere and the installer came back in a couple of days to complete the installation. A smooth transaction!

Repaired a broken part that was preventing the garage door from opening. The job was done quickly at a very fair price.

Making the appointment for an estimate was easy and they were to come out the day after Christmas. I received a call the morning of the appointment to reschedule to the next day. The technician called when he arrived at my house and said he was early and asked if that was ok. We talked about what needed to be done to the gate and programming some remotes I had. After resolving a mixup on the pricing (I was quoted different rates on the phone than the technician gave me), I agreed to have the work done. The technician got all of the work done within an hour with the exception of greasing part of the rails because the area was not flat enough to safely hold the ladder. He did the gate maintenance work and programmed the remotes. He was pleasant and professional. Wish I had looked on Angie's list to see if there were coupons I could have used. Lesson learned.

It appears that there were only two sheet metal screws used to attach the arm from the opener to the interior surface of the door. These screws ripped out, tearing the aluminum surface of the door. The repairman that arrived advised me that the bracket they had would not work since there was nothing to secure it to. My uneducated concept of a solution was to use a piece of flat steel on the outside of the door and use nuts and bolts to go all the way through the door to secure the hinged piece of the arm to the interior of the door. The repairman dismissed my idea entirely.

Great. Quickly diagnosed the issue, gave me the estimate. Was clean, punctual, and professional.

The two team arrived before the scheduled time. Waited patiently for me to park the cars away from their work area. They then went to work. in about 60-90 minutes they were ring the door bell for me to come and inspect and test their work. The door is a beauty and it works beautifully. I am well pleased.

WENT WELL. MIKE CALLED ABOUT 30 MINUTES BEFORE ARRIVAL TO MAKE SURE WE WERE HOME WHICH WAS GREAT BECAUSE THE TIME WINDOW WAS 4 HOURS. MIKE CHECKED THE GARAGE DOOR AND INSTANTLY KNEW WHAT WAS WRONG. GAVE US 2 OPTIONS NO PRESSURE. WE CHOSE TO REPLACE THE WHOLE THING AS IT WAS 15 YEARS OLD.

I called Crystal the day before Thanksgiving asking about an Angie's List deal. Turns out my job wasn't going to big enough to qualify for the deal ($200 minimum purchase). I felt no pressure of upsell. I thought I needed two NEW garage door remote controls. It was going to be $80 for the house call and $40 per remote. $160 to park in my garage all winter? Yes, please. Surprisingly, Crystal was able to schedule for Black Friday afternoon between 12-4. I got a call form the tech about 2:00 saying he'd arrive in 40 minutes or so. Forty minutes later he was parked at my garage. My door openers work well but are older. One opener would have needed a special opener to work with its receiver. The other needed a new receiver and opener. As I mused about whether my repairs would exceed the $200 minimum for the deal, I showed the tech my two "old" remotes. He reprogrammed them and said they'd be fine (he could have told me I needed "all new" but didn't). He programmed two remotes, including calling a fellow tech for advice on one of them,. Charged me $10 per remote for programming and was on his way.
