Very professional. The repair was done to my satisfaction. My Angie's List coupon did not fit the type of work, so the technician provided an alternative coupon and discount. Very impressed.

I had not used Crystal Overhead Door before. I found them on Angie's List, read some of the reviews, and called them. Their technician Tom came the next day. He knew exactly what to do, and his van is like a mobile hardware store so he had all the parts needed to do the job. He did the whole thing in less than an hour, in a very efficient and professional manner. I was very pleased with everything that was done. The cost was reasonable. I will definitely call Crystal Overhead Door at any time in the future that I need garage door service.

The repairman was prompt, got the work done quickly and with quality, and had a friendly demeanor throughout. As cold of a day as it was, so glad this was all done so efficiently. Definitely recommend.

I would give A+, he was timely. While I was talking to him, I asked how long and he said he was already done with one side.

Friday afternoon at about 430pm our garage door stopped halfway open. After several attempts, we were unable to get it to function properly and disconnected it (meaning manual operation on an 8' door without interior or exterior handles). Crystal Door was one of the first listings on Angies List in our area with good ratings, so we gave them a call. They answered the phone, and I was able to speak to a live person. They initially proposed Tuesday, but we were not available Tuesday and they were able to squeeze us in Monday afternoon, which was a great relief since the door was a real inconvenience. With the non-stop snow this season, we couldn't really even realistically park outside over the weekend as we would be in the plow's way. They reviewed the options over the phone, and quoted the additional parts that might be required (e.g., the extension for the 7' vs 8' door). We looked up the recommended models online and went with their Angies List special for a Liftmaster 8557. We also discovered over the weekend that one of our cars had a Homelink system that is not by default compatible with the 8557 transmitter, and left a message asking them to bring a repeater. The technician arrived during the scheduled window and had all the required parts with him - the correct installer, the extender and the repeater. He also noticed that one of our wire cables was frayed and asked if we wanted it replaced. He also patiently stuck around to help reprogram both Homelinks as well as the interior switch, both new remotes, and the external keypad. The only glitch was that the plastic lens (protective cover for the lightbulb) was cracked during installation. Before leaving, he explained the problem and demonstrated how to install the replacement part. They ordered a new one which was shipped to the house a few weeks later. Overall a fine experience and the very quick scheduling was much appreciated.

They did a great job. They got the job done in about 45 minutes. He explained everything very well. I would recommend them to anybody. The scheduling was good and they came out the same morning that I called them. Mike the technician was very professional and polite.

Excellent quick response. My car was trapped inside when door failed. Tom and Steve (I believe) fit me into their busy schedule same day, within two hours of calling. The men worked quickly, and their professionalism and thoroughness were much appreciated. They did more than necessary; my garage door operates much more quietly and they even replaced the burnt out bulb in the garage door opener. Fantastic company. Highly recommended!

Scheduling the appointment was interesting and slightly confusing at first: Angies list website said for us to list possible dates for the appointment, which we did, and Crystal Overhead quickly responded, confirming our first choice (by email). However, Crystal Overhead also called directly and set up a different date. This was resolved by email within 24 hrs. Our technician called 20 minutes before his scheduled arrival to warn us he was on his way. He arrived promptly at the designated appointment time. He very courteously and efficiently replaced the broken spring(s), providing his own light source since ours was not working consistently. After his work was complete, he reviewed the warrantee with me, and told me how to perform routine maintenance. He also showed me a potential problem that he discovered during his inspection (one that his company couldn't fix but one that needed attention nonetheless). We could not be more satisfied with the quickness of responses in making and confirming the appointment to fix a semi-urgent garage door problem, punctuality of the technician, professionalism and workmanship.

It was fine. I really don't remember. I just know they came out and did the service. I don't remember if I paid more or not. They fixed it so I was happy with it. They were really friendly. I think that whatever the deal I got, wasn't exactly for what I had them out for but they still applied it anyway.

Old Garage door system wasn't working at all. They were very responsive on the phone. I got a quick appointment. The price was good, especially since I got an Angie's deal. Gerardo came out. He was on time, called before he came. He explained everything well, was very professional. Even melted the snow/ice that was preventing the door from closing all the way. He was very good-spirited despite the Chiberia weather. Couldn't have been a better job, meant a lot to me since I just got off crutches & can't navigate the streets very well.

The company is solid and I will continue to use. Tom was the service technician and was very helpful and informative related to what was needed. We had Marantac motor and new door installed in Sept 2011. The keypad broke and as I understand this is not uncommon. I hope I don't have to shell out this $50 every 2 years. The motor that was installed is no longer offered as well which concerns me related to future service needs. The service call was quick and Tom lubricated the tracks and hinges without request. Quality of service was great. No issues there. Again I will call these guys. My issue is with the Marantac product which is why I gave "B" for quality and price.

It was great. I did not have to pay any other charges on top of the big deal price and I think that they came out the day after I bought the big deal.

Follow-up service call was scheduled right away by the scheduler. I don't know if it is possible to love a new garage door opener... but I love my new garage door opener! I will need a new spring for my garage and based on my recent service call, I WILL be calling Crystal Overhead Door for this service

My car was trapped in the garage when my opener stopped working. The installers were able to come sooner than the scheduled appointment in spite of a bad snow storm. Very professional, did a thorough examination of my old unit and explained the problem and all of my options. I opted for a new garage door opener, which was installed quickly and at a reasonable price, a nice upgrade from my old one. Really terrific service!
