Phenomenal. Installer came same day I called to report garage door would not open. Assessed the problem and returned the next day to install new opener. Came to house exactly on time. Installed new garage door opener in less than 1-hour with programming , and he even helped repair a garage door seal in 5 minutes that would have taken me an hour!

I was having problems with my garage door, which had become damaged and was no longer closing reliably. I called Crystal Overhead Door after reading reviews on Angie's list. It was a Saturday, but the company was able to set up an inspection later that day. Thoughtfully, the technician called to say he was running late after another job, and provided an estimate of when he would arrive. When Tom drove up, he quickly assessed the situation and told me (to my relief) that a new garage door was not needed. He fabricated materials to repair the door and its connection to the opener, as well as adjusting opener settings and lubricating the system. Tom took the time to explain what had gone wrong, and to give me tips about how to maintain the door, and things to keep in mind when the door eventually will be replaced. All of this late on a Saturday afternoon! I was very pleased with the results and the manner in which the service was provided. I will certainly call Crystal Overhead Door when I have to have work done on my garage door.

I called on a Tuesday in the late morning. I asked for a Wednesday morning slot. They came and went within the window of time I was quoted over the phone. The door is as good as new!

Tom was fantastic and did the work quickly and even suggested a few possible future upgrades. I will definitely use Crystal again.

I called CODI on Monday July 5th and they came out on July 7th to give me an estimate and installed the door with frame on July9th. The rep was extremely cordial, professional and prompt. He was amazed at how functional our 20 yr old garage door was. I explained that my husband fixed it when needed. However, it was breaking down pretty regularly now and needed to be replaced. They explained what they thought I needed as a replacement was impractical. Our original door had a handle with a key lock in the middle of the door! It turned out my neighbor across the alley also had a CODI door so the rep was able to show me the final result. The new door is, to my amazement, very quiet and closes smoothly (our 20 yr old door did its share of rattling). I am very pleased with this firm and would use them in the future. I have 11 brothers and sisters and have recommended CODI to them.

Called on Monday at 11am and the representative was at my house by 12:30pm to give me an estimate in replacing an 8 X 7 wooden door with an insulated steel door. After agreeing on the price, the installer arrived promptly at 8:30am on Thursday to perform the job. The door was replaced and operational by noon. The installer cleaned the area and took away the old doors. I was very happy with the price (accepted the coupon available on Angie's List), promptness, quality of work and product.

I bouught the $395 install and safety inspection deal. They arrived and performed the work as agreed. I would use them again.

There were some price discrepancies, but everything went well aside from that. They acted professionally, finished the job quickly, and did a good job with the installation.

Everything went well. Tom came out both times and was very professional, friendly, and efficient. He walked us through the suggested repairs and we never felt like we were being "sold" on anything. He was very courteous and went over everything that was fixed when it was completed. We would definetely use this service again.

I was not able to make it to the appointment at 4 pm due to traffic and notified the Office.They made arrangements to meet us at 5pm. Tommy was our service tech and he was knowledgeable and professional and is an asset to his profession and company.

Everything went well from start to finish. Making an appointment was super easy. "Linda" who took my call was polite and professional and extremely efficient. The technician came out that same day the call was made and took care of everything and did a great job. My mother-in-law was very pleased with the tech and said he was very nice. I didn't get a chance to meet the tech, but if my mother-in-law was happy with the work and with him, I am satisfied. I would definitely recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Tommy was great. Great service and professionalism. My only complaint would be that my service call was scheduled between 10AM - 2PM. I got a call at 1:45 letting me know that he was running a bit behind schedule and would be there in about 20 minutes. Weather didn't help that day, but it ended up being another hour and he got there about 2:45. After the work was finished, it was close to 5PM. I find it frustrating to be given a four hour window and it turns into seven. I don't fault the technician but rather the schedulers.

They were able to come out in about a week. One technician arrived for the work and he did a real good job. They even did a little more than I had expected with repairing the door. Everything worked out good.

Very convenient. I picked Crystal Overhead based on their reviews/cost and also because they had an Angie's List coupon. I submitted some dates for them to come by on a Sunday night and they replied to me the next day and came that Tuesday. They came promptly and did the work and it cost $110. My husband was there to receive the repairman and he said he was super-friendly. It was a painless experience, thankfully.

It was fine and it was worth it. They were prompt and came out and performed the service. They sent one person out to do the job. He got the job done in about one hour and was very fast. The scheduling was very easy.

The service and quality-of-work was excellent. Tom did a thorough inspection and showed/explained what needed to be done now and what should be watched/maintenanced going forward. After he finished replacing the damaged parts and making the necessary adjustments, the garage door was working like new. I plan to use the company for any future garage-door work and would recommend them to others.

It turned out that my garage door spring was commercial-grade, which the deal did not cover. The deal fine print didn't specify any differences and the cost was considerably higher than what I was expecting. However, everyone I dealt with throughout the process conducted themselves in a very professional manner, and I wouldn't discount them from my searches in the future.

He didn't take a lot of time with the inspection, and he was also a little bit late to the appointment.

I chose Crystal because they were nearby, had many great reviews, and were honest and responsive. Tom came out to take a look, gave me an assessment of what needed to be done, understood what my needs were without overselling. He was also the head installer which gave additional piece of mind. I was impressed at their availability to my schedule, professionalism and efficiency. Ha, Tom said he is pretty much the man for this type of thing, and he's absolutely right! The Liftmaster belt drive which was installed appears to be a high quality product and user friendly.

The garage door could open, but not close. Mike came in the allotted time window, explained why the problem has arisen, fixed it. Also he put wires through the springs so they don't hurt anyone if they become loose. Fast and professional job

It was a very good experience. We contacted them, along with a couple other companies, all of which promised to come out and give us an estimate (we are in a condo with a shared detached garage). Crystal Overhead actually showed up when they said they would, were on time, gave us a call beforehand, and provided a thorough look at the door, explanation of the problem and options for door type and cost. We decided on the spot to go with them and had the installer put the door in. He was quick, efficient and extremely courteous (this in -10 degrees plus windchill!). I would definitely use them again.

Provider was prompt in scheduling a visit. They suggested a time that isn't feasible due to work my schedule, they suggested a Saturday appointment. Unfortunately for me Saterday came and went with no call or show. After I left a message on Saturday they were really quick to call back (on Monday) to set up another time. Fortunately I wasn't interested! If you can't schedule a time for them to perform the work prior to 3:30 pm during the week, I suggest looking further down the page. Good luck!
