My garage door had some issues closing in cold weather at the end of last winter ( I ignored the problem) and when we got very cold weather this winter it started having problems once again. This time it took about 30 tries to get it to close which is when I called to have it repaired. Steve the repairman was excellent. It was very cold outside and Crystal Overhead Door was able to send someone out the same day I called. He explained the motor setting needed adjusting and the door rails needed to be lubricated. He also showed me how to manually close the door in case I ever needed to do that at any point. He was very helpful and professional. The door works great now.

It was fine. He showed up and gave us helpful advice. He was nice. He programmed an extra remote without charging. I called them back about a year later and the price was reasonable. I have recommended them to others.

It was a Big Deal purchase. It worked out pretty well. They were on time and they made a couple of adjustments. It was okay but for a Big Deal, maybe I expected more. We had a good interaction. The work they did turned out fine. There were no extra charges.

The deal wasn't what I expected. They came out and were on time and friendly but all they did was spray something on my rolls. They said I did need a hedge repaired which cost me an additional $10, that was fine. I was really more interested in finding out why my garage door was lopsided. I feel like I over paid for the service that was done.

This was my first time using Crystal Overhead Door. It was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend them to others. While I don't recall the serviceman's name, I do remember how focused he was on customer satisfaction. He changed his schedule so he could arrive early on a Saturday morning to accommodate my schedule. He was done within 1 hour. My garage door operates smoothly and is very quiet. I appreciated how prompt, thorough and efficient Crystal Overhead Door completed this work. They will be the first company I call when I am in need of garage door related work in the future.

Crystal Overhead Door responded to my inquiry through Angie's List within 24 hours, scheduled my work for the time I wanted, and I saved $40 with Angie's deal coupon. They said they'd phone ahead of coming over, and they did. Moises arrived promptly, explained the problem to me, had the part to fix it, and got right on the job! I was also instructed on future maintenance. My garage overhead door works again (thanks for braving the single-digit temps with a smile, Moises!) and I'm satisfied.

They were great. The technician that handled the job (Moses) was prompt, polite, quick and knowledgable. He took the time to show what he had done (senstivity settings) and show me how to change them myself if I had problems after he left. Crystal is the only company I'll use in the future.

Could not have been better! Called at 10:30am, when the garage door would not open....and by 1:00pm a technician was here repairing it. Steve was very professional and had it repaired within an hour!

I brought an Angie's list deal. Crystal Overhead called me to schedule the appointment and I planned it for an afternoon off from work. I was home at the appointed time but my service tech did not arrive. I had been notified after I got home that they were short-staffed but they thought the tech would get there later. When I called again (30 min. after the end of my appointment window), I got an apology and a rescheduled appointment for the next workday. That time, the tech arrived right on time and, as noted above, was very efficient. I understand staffing problems create havoc with schedules. I would have preferred that they called me in the morning to advise me they were not likely to be able to make my appointment and just rescheduled it. That would have freed up my afternoon instead of keeping me captive at home for hours for a technician that never arrived. I would also have appreciated Crystal keeping in better contact with me throughout that first afternoon rather than me having to initiate a call to reschedule our appointment.

Excellent repair work done. They contacted us on the scheduled morning to confirm their expected arrival, and were actually able to arrive a little early (which fit our schedules). The job required a little extra labor time due to the door's tight installation, but the overall cost seemed very reasonable. They also suggested a few maintenance tips for us to perform in the future to help extend the garage door's life. Would definitely recommend their services.

first he checked the old garage door opener . it was old and told me the motor was gone. told me about the different garage door openers that were available. i took the only one he had in his truck, which was a higher end opener. it was probably more than i needed but i am happy with it. i have had no trouble with it.

It was determined that the new battery was not good that I had put into the remote. The Crystal door employee changed the battery in the remote and it worked. He also oiled the hinges to make them more flexible.

This was amazing. On Christmas morning, we went out to take my sister-in-law to the airport and found ourselves locked in the garage as a spring had snapped on the door and we couldn't get it to budge. Needless to say she took a cab to catch her flight, but we had other house guests and needed to be able to get out. I called Crystal for emergency service and Eric himself came out within the hour and fixed the problem in minutes. We paid a premium, of course, but just the fact that they would take the time on Christmas Day to do the job was almost unbelievable.

Professional, answered questions, completed the work as requested. Continued to work on garage until the new bottom piece fit properly and tight.

I purchased a Big Deal order # 1670729 on Dec 03, 2014 from Crystal Overhead Door for $99 Winter Garage Door Tune-Up with Bottom Seal Weatherstrip. The Technician inspected my garage door and said he would not be able to replace the bottom seal weatherstrip because the bottom panel of my garage door is rotting. He offered to do the rest of the garage door tune-up and I declined. I asked him to get me an estimate for replacing the bottom door panel. I have received the estimate and am in contact with Crystal Overhead Doors to do the work. I would like to get a refund of my Big Deal since the work was not done and can't be done with the rotted bottom panel.

Service was scheduled the next day after placing the order. Gerardo Carranza and another staff member performed an inspection of the garage door and assembly, installed the new weather strip and lubricated the railings. The staff were knowledgeable and worked efficiently. Gerardo adjusted the Lasers as I was having a problem with the door opening and closing automatically. I was pleased with the knowledge and professionalism of the staff members and the service. I would recommend the company for garage door service..

It was a last minute call... as they all are. My garage door skipped it's track and I couldn't get it open. I needed someone to come quick because I was heading out of town and needed to park my car in the garage. Panicked and worried I couldn't get it done, I called up Crystal after seeing their great ratings on Angie's List. They were empathetic, responsive and quick! The tech showed up within and hour (he actually beat me to the house as I was on the way home.) He took the time to explain the problem, showed me what he would be doing, and gave me tips so that it wouldn't happen again. Quick service... got it all done within 45 minutes.. with a smile and a friendly demeanor. Great service!
