On 9/15 I made an appointment to have my garage door springs replaced after one of them broke earlier that morning. I got a next day appointment between 10 and 2. Mike called about 15 minutes before his arrival at 10. Mike was very congenial and professional about his work. The springs were replaced, tracks and rollers lubed, and minor door adjustments made in just under an hour. Would I call Crystal Overhead Door again? In a heartbeat! Jim B.

The repair went well. Purchased maintenance deal from Angie's list and Crystal Overhead Door came over quickly to provide the temporary fix to the door so at least I can get the car in and out. The replacement door section was ordered at the same time. The spring and broken section was fixed as soon as the replacement part arrived and they also replaced the worn rollers as well. Not the door operates much quite and smoother than before.

It did not go well. I was provided poor customer service. I called their office and spoke with Mark who sounded like he had just woken up. I explained to him several times that I wanted to be home if they came to do an estimate, but I don't think he understood that because he kept suggesting times I wouldn't be home.

A spring on our overhead garage door broke and needed immediate repair. Crystal offered a same day appointment but the following day worked better for our schedule. The tech called us 7:45 AM and was at our home at 8 AM. The tech was professional, worked efficiently and completed the work within 1 hour. We are very satisfied with our experience with Crystal. They were responsive, showed up on time and completed the work in an efficient and professional manner. Thank you.

I called today morning and they sent Tom to fix my door the same day!! He not only fixed the door, but also let me know what are some of the issues that caused the problem. There were loose wires from the other garage door and noticed some issues with the other side and examed that door as well! He worked efficiently and was great to work with! Definitely will go back to these guys any garage door issue I may have. HIGHLY recommend them!

The service was fine. They arrived within the window I was given. Assessed the problem with the old broken door opener and recommended that it be replaced with a new one. It has been more than a month and the new opener is working fine. The technician was nice and professional. He cleaned up the mess, gave me quick instruction on how to work the new opener, answered my questions and left.

They did an awesome job!!! They were quick getting out here the same day I called them to give an estimate. Then they came back the next day to do the job. Will definitely use them again.

Our garage door opener stopped working. The door would partially open and then stop, so we would have to manually open/close. We called Crystal and were able to schedule an appointment within a few days. The technician arrived promptly and was extremely friendly and polite. He did a quick check and found that the wires were just too tightly attached to the wood frame and this was causing a signal disruption. It was a very simple fix; however, the tech stayed on and examed the rest of the garage opener system to assure everything else was in order. He even changed a light bulb in the garage. I think he wanted to make sure we were getting something for the service call fee. This was superb customer service in my book. Highly recommend this company!

Everybody was professional, on time, and did a wonderful job. They cleaned up after the job was finished. I would certainly use them again. I would like to send my compliments to Rick that works in the office and the two installers, Moises and Jason.

Called on Wednesday to discuss models available, cost and installation dates; work was completed the next day. Mike was very professional and other than the new installation, left the work area as he found it. There was a difference in the unit model number we discussed and what was installed that unfortunately, I didn't realized until after receiving the instruction manual. I immediately called their office and was informed that the unit installed was the same equipment (same features) but that only the model numbers and color of unit had been changed. Since the features are more important to me than these two issues, the installation was not changed.

the sprocket on my garage door opener was broken. The person on the phone was courteous. I got a next day appt. The guy showed up at the end of the two hour window, apologized for the delay, quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate and had it fixed in 30 minutes.

The service technician was punctual, took what appeared to be the proper amount of time to inspect and tune-up all parts of the door, completed the service, and cleaned up befote he left.

I had previously purchased a deal from a different company that didn't work out. I purchased this deal to replace the other one, and they contacted me within an hour and they came out the very next day. I was very pleased with their service.

Excellent service. I called on a Friday late afternoon because my garage door would only open halfway. The customer service agent was very friendly and was able to schedule the technician appointment for the very next day (!)...between 10:00 - 2:00. The tech (Mike) called at 10:30 to say he would be there in 40 minutes. Mike arrived when he said he would...quickly figured out the problem (gear and sprocket assembly was shot) and repaired it. He then balanced the garage door. He also took a look at our second garage door...determined that it was in good shape...and balanced it as well. Great service on very short notice. I would definitely call Crystal Overhead Door again

Jim was my technician, who was very personable. He was also very astute and straight forward in his examination and explanation of the problem. His honesty was most appreciated. He didn't try to make it more than it was. The tracks were straightened and secured, the wheels that came loose were reinstalled, he balanced the door checked the emergency reverse system, etc. The repair was completed in about 20 minutes. In comparison to others who tried to sell me more than what was needed or made an issue out as more than it was, I, again, appreciated their honesty. My door works beautifully now. I would have no problem using their services again or recommending them to someone else.

These guys are top notch and reasonable. It was a urgent call because I had the house inspector coming out the next morning at 9:00 a.m.. The guys came out, had the part, explained the charges, willingly accepted the Angies List coupon and did the work in a timely and professional manner. This is the 4th experience I've had with them and every single time it is great. No attitudes, fair price, arrive on time, do little follow up work for free if you ask nicely and get you back up and running quickly. I used one of their competitors years ago and would only hire these guys again.

The guys were on time, professional, and got right to work. The garage door was only about 3-4 years old, but installed by inexperienced guys, so these guys corrected it. I had an issue where the sunlight was affecting the sensor that detected something in the way of the door closing - the guys moved the sensor back so it would not be in line of the afternoon sun, and that helped. Good service and fair price, timely and professional. I would recommend them to any of my clients and friends.

The repairman did a great job. The garage door shuts all the way, now. He was very polite and had all the supplies he needed. There was no mess at the end of the job. He even called when he realized he'd be there at the very end of our appointment window so that we'd know he was still on his way. He worked quickly and took a check or credit card. We felt the price was fair.

Purchased the Big Deal for garage door spring replacement after my garage spring broke and the door jumped the track. Bought the Big Deal on a Thursday, they called to set up an appointment on Friday, and work was completed on Saturday. Geraldo showed up on time, completed the work quickly and got my garage door back on track and working as good as new. Excellent service, and I would definitely use Crystal Overhead Door again.

My experience with him went well. He was in and out, told me everything was good. He oiled everything and cleaned everything. I've not had a problem since then. It was a good experience, but I think there are better ones out there.

It took about 20 minutes, or less, and he didn't even charge me. The sensor had just become mis-aligned. I'd recommend them to anyone.

On time, good communicator, work finished promptly.

After 12 years, my garage opener stopped working, mainly because the plastic gears in the unit were stripped. Although one can replace these, January of 2014 was extremely cold and I didn't want to deal with it. So I bought a deal and then set up an appointment with Crystal. The staff at Crystal are always professional. The servicemen that came to my house were very thorough, prompt, and always called before they were going to arrive. There was an ongoing issue over the course of at least a year and Crystal contacted the manufacturer to figure out what the cause of issue might be and how to resolve it. They replaced the remotes initially, the motherboard and other circuits, the controller and finally the unit. I think they would have replaced the unit sooner if the manufacturer had authorized its replacement. Crystal deserves high praise for constantly following up. The unit must have been defective. I was getting issues with errors that claimed there was excessive force both when opening and closing. I had gotten a new garage door shortly after the unit was installed because the old door was heavy and damaged probably causing the old unit to give out. Crystal said they could not honor the manufacturer's warranty if the door was not replaced but the quote they have me for a new door was about the same as a higher quality door from a different garage door installer that was steel on both sides and insulated. So initially I had the door guys come out to make sure there was no problem and when they verified it was aligned properly I called Crystal. Crystal came out in the spring of 2014, soon after I contacted them, at the appointed time, replaced the remotes with cheaper versions and worked on the unit. It seemed better with the errors rarely occurring but then they started becoming more frequent again. Crystal came out and replaced some of the circuit boards and again the unit seemed to work better with very infrequent errors during late fall and most of the winter. Eventually, when the weather warmed up a bit, I got the errors frequently in March of 2015 and Crystal replaced the controller on the wall and worked on the unit again. When I had issues in May, they came again, checked out the unit, fixed something on my garage door, and ordered parts. At that point I was getting excessive force errors with the door detached and the unit wasn't really working, forcing me to open and close the door manually all the time. But when they returned the following week, they installed a different model of the unit and I haven't seen an error code since then. Plus this new model is even quieter than the problem model. Both models can/could be programmed to close on their own after a specified time which is great if one forgets to close the door or something blowing into the garage like leaves prevented the door from closing. And it is wifi enabled so one can buy an adapter to control and monitor it via an app. Bottom line, I was worried that given the length of time and the numerous service calls, but Crystal came through each and every time. I'm just glad the old lemon I had was finally removed and replaced. Wished it was done much sooner but I'm sure they were just following the manufacturer's recommendations. I would recommend them because obviously they follow through and guarantee their work. I would have given the all "A"s if it didn't take so long to finally get the unit replaced, even though it probably wasn't their call, but that really impacted me in that I had to deal with not having a dependable garage door opener and was always wondering, whenever I used it, if it was going to give me problems again, which was somewhat stressful.

Great service, but price seemed rather high for about an hour/hour and a half of work and basic parts.

The provider was prompt and performed the work. They did a great job and we are happy with the product!
