Description of Work: The serviceman replaced rollers on a garage door that was giving me trouble during the winter. He also lubricated the tracks and hinges. Those were services specified in the Big Deal. In addition, I asked him about replacing the weatherstripping on the bottom of the door, which had become damaged. That was an additional charge; he had the material on his truck so I had him go ahead and do it and I paid the additional charge. The serviceman was very pleasant and professional and gave me tips on how to maintain the repairs. I can now open and close my garage door when the temperature is in the 20's and below and do not have to replace the opener motor as I had thought I might. I am very satisfied with the service and would recommend the company.

Description of Work: We used our Angie's List Big Deal. The contractor did a tune-up on the garage door. He replaced a sprocket that was causing the garage door to open & close. We thought it was the door sensor, but the sprocket was worn down. We have not had this issue since.

Description of Work: I Purchased the $99.00 coupon without checking the location of the company headquarters. When I called and talked to Eric we realized he was 50 miles away. After we discussed the problem, I offered to cancel the coupon because it would be unprofitable for him, and my door was in good condition and the likelihood of additional work at this time was slim. Eric was very courteous and told me he had a job 20 miles from me on Saturday and he would try to fit me. He did. Dave, the Service Technician, arrived on time and was very friendly and courteous. He explained what he was going to do and immediately set about his task. We have a thirty-five year old garage door in pretty good condition, except for a lot of creaks and pops as it opens and closes. We have a relatively new belt drive door opener that is very quiet. By the time Dave finished installing the new rollers, adjusting the door and door opener and lubricating the hinges, the door opened and closed in near silence with a barely audible hum from the motor. It was worth the $99.00. He proclaimed the door to be in good working order and did not try to sell us anything we did not need, although we would have been happy for any additional services required. Description of Work: The spring(s) on our door broke so I looked up Garage Door Service on Angies list and made a few calls. These folks answered right away, explained the 'deal' and pricing, arranged to put a temporary fix on my current 'broke' spring then arrive the following day with a new door and springs to install. As they indicated on the phone, the repairman showed up the day I called to fix the broken spring on a temporary basis, then returned the next day with a new door and new springs. He installed, cleaned up and left. As planned, the work went well and on time, within budget.

Description of Work: My tension spring on my garage door had broke and I was unable to open the door. They were quick to have someone come in and replace the spring. The technician was done within 45 minutes and in addition to replacing the spring he checked the whole garage door system and lubricated the rails and leadscrew drive. I was very satisfied with the service.

Description of Work: The garage door was sticking along the sides and at the bottom. He fixed it and tested it several times to insure that it was working properly. Additionally, I was flying in at O'Hare, the plane was late and I missed the appointment. He came back to my home after I arrived home; truly responsive.

Two men came out first thing as requested and promised, at normal rates, and promptly replaced the spring and checked out the system by 9 am. Wonderful prompt and professional service.
