Description of Work: Installed a new overhead chain garage door opener. Booking was easy through their website. Arrival window was between 8 and 12. Received a call at 8 that they would arrive by 8:30. They were on time and completed the job in about an hour and showed me how the new opener operated. Also inspected and oiled the door.

Description of Work: They performed a garage door tune-up based on the Angie's list big deal. We originally had an appointment scheduled and no one showed up. When I called they said that they were aware that there was a scheduling conflict and that they neglected to notify us, which I thought was very strange. They did send someone out a few days later who arrived early and, to my knowledge, performed the service.

Description of Work: I used Crystal Overhead Door to repair my garage door a long while ago. I was having trouble with the door. I called last fall as I was having trouble with the door staying closed. They walked me through a possible solution for FREE instead of coming and charging me for a visit. Safety sensors are an important feature on the operator unit and now required by law. They prevent your door from hitting objects that block the invisible beam in your door way. When they fail an injury can happen to a person or damage can happen to your car. This is something that should be repaired immediately. Thank you for your review.

It was recommended that I replace the battery since it was showing weakness. Overall, I was extremely happy with all that was done. |

Description of Work: The first visit was to do the $39 winter garage door tune up. I do not believe a 21 point safety inspection was completed - was told that my opener is old and does not allow for all the safety checks - understood that - there was no list of 21 items shown to confirm. In addition, they installed a 16 foot standard rubber bottom. The bottom started coming off the next week and they returned on 1/31 to replace. As of 2/4 no problem. I did experience a very professional and responsive reply when I initially called to schedule the first visit and again when I called about the faulty rubber bottom seal.

As the garage door ages , the weather can deteriorate the seals around an old door where it would need replacing. But at some point we may have to replace the entire unit even if it is just for safety sake. Keep this in mind the next time you need service. Safety is first in our service. Description of Work: Service was exactly as advertised. The workers arrived right on time and were efficient, professional and polite. I couldn't figure out how to open my garage door without power because the pull rope was gone, so they put a new one on for me. Checked and lubed everything. I was very pleased.
