Description of Work: Our clothes dryer was not heating. Rich came out the same day as called. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty valve. He had to order the part but was able to pick one up and installed it the next day. I would definitely call them again.

Description of Work: Provider called back right away and through a phone conversation ended up suggesting that we would spend almost as much to fix it as to replace the GE dishwasher. He said he didn't want to charge us for the service call if he couldn't really do anything.

Description of Work: I called at 11:30a.m. to request someone to come fix my leaking washing machine. An answering service answered my call took my information and promised to have someone call me. Within 20 minutes Will called and offered to come at 4p.m! I have never had such prompt response let alone same day service! Will came on time. He was courteous and professional. He was able to diagnose the problem in 10 minutes. He showed me the problem explained the options and his information helped me to opt to replace it. I asked him since he was there if he could clean my dryers lint vents which he did. I was very happy with his service and honesty. I highly recommend this company and will use them in the future

Description of Work: Called them to come out and check my washing machine to see if it could be repaired or if I was going to have to get a new machine. As I sort of expected, but hoped was not the case I needed a new washing machine. The tech who came out, Mario, was great. Condemed my washer nicely and gave me advice on purchasing a new one as well as general maintanence information for both my washer and dryer.

Description of Work: my washer would not go to the next spin cycle after washing/rinsing. I explained the problem Rich knew right away the lid switch was broken and repaired it within 30 min. I had the same problem back in Sept and had a local company evaluate and spent 300 for a new timer which probably wasn't necessary. I called Chicago appliance on Thursday, scheduled for Sat at 8am. Rich was on time, professional and courteous. I also advised him how highly rated he was with Angies list and I was glad he was the repairman assigned to my washer. I would definately use them again and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: They fixed our dryer and also fixed our ice machine. They found the available parts and after we looked online it would have cost us more to buy them online and do it ourselves. Good value.

Description of Work: When I first spoke to the main number, they said they would have one of their technicians call me after they gathered some information from me. Within minutes, I received a call from Will. He was able to come out the same day and help with our dishwasher issue. He was very prompt and professional. Will did an excellent job and made sure everything was working properly before he packed up. Excellent job! Description of Work: They removed a silicone plug in my refrigerator to prevent the bottom of my freezer drawer from building up with ice and eventually leaking. I was a little nervous at first as they just completely removed the part - no replacing, but he assured me it would all be ok and they have a 90 day warranty so that made me feel better.

Description of Work: Chicago Appliance Repair fixed my dryer - some parts had come loose and it had stopped working. Also replaced some pieces around the door that were getting too worn down before they were able to cause additional problems. Service was prompt and professional!

Description of Work: Dishwasher broke the week before thanksgiving. The staff was prompt in responding to my call for service. Service technician arrived and knew right away what th probliem was and had parts on the truck to replace those needed on the dischwasher. Very clean and professsiional services. And we hosted a great Thanksgiving dinner on the thurday fowwoing the service call.
