Job done well. Elvis, the technician, was very courteous and efficient. He checked out the stove and told me a part would have to be ordered. He started the job on 5/8/24 in the afternoon and he finished the job this afternoon.

Best outcome. Called on a Saturday afternoon. Person answering was awesome. Got a call from Rich later in the day. Agreed that Monday morning was when we would make an appointment. Rich called twice on Monday morning to give an update on his arrival. Rich opened the oven so we could see the igniter. He explained everything clearly. After the igniter replacement, the oven worked like new. We'll definitely use Chicago Appliance Service Co again if needed.

Our refrigerator’s freezer was working but the bottom of the fridge wasn’t keeping food cold. I reached out to Chicago Appliance Repair and was contacted right away by Rich. Rich told me Ramon would call to schedule an appointment. Ramon called a few minutes later and came out the next morning. Ramon is fantastic! We were concerned we might have to purchase a new fridge. Ramon quickly diagnosed the problem. He had to order a part. In the meantime Ramon thawed out the freezer mechanism so the fridge would cool better and the freezer would continue to work. I asked if we needed new rubber around the fridge doors. Ramon said we didn’t need that. As soon as the part came in he called and replaced it within a few minutes. Ramon was very honest with us about what needed to be done and what didn’t. He doesn’t mind answering questions as we had quite a few. I will definitely contact Chicago Appliance Company if we need any appliances repaired in the future.

We loved working with Chicago Appliance. They were quick to answer and send out a great technician. We really appreciated the hard work from Julio and Israel. They were so helpful and informative on our washing machine, oven, and dishwasher. We will happily refer Chicago Appliance to our friends and family. Thank you!

When I called to schedule a repair of our refrigerator I noticed the customer service was very good right from the start. They said we would get a call-back within 30 minutes and the field supervisor and then the tech called to set up a visit. The tech even called to say he could come earlier. He arrived when he said he would be there and he was professional, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant throughout. He found the problem and patiently explained what he was doing (I like to ask questions so I can learn). We will use this company again and recommend them to friends and family.

I didn't have work done by Chicago Appliance Service, but I am submitting a review for the prompt and honest response. I submitted a request for quote and Rich got back to me within 10-15 minutes even though it is near closing time. He gathered more details from me and got back the next morning to inform me that the parts were no longer available to repair my oven. I truly appreciate his professionalism and prompt response. I will definitely keep Chicago Appliance Service high on my list for my next appliance repair needs.

Rich called me before setting up any service to double-check if there were any quick fixes that did not require a professional. Turns out a small switch in the back just needed to be flipped. He could have said nothing and made some quick money on a really simple fix. I really appreciated the professionalism!

Chicago Appliance Service Co. was one of the vendors recommended by Angi. Rich, from this company, called the same day I did the search. He asked me a few questions about the problem with our dishwasher and then recommended a procedure to reset the control panel on the dishwasher. I followed his instructions and the problem was solved right a way. I would highly recommend this company as I have never experienced such helpful service.

Easy in and out, price seemed a little high

I spoke with Julio and he went over in detail the problem we are having (tub not draining). He looked up the washing machine and the parts that we would need to fix it which came to over $350. He said that it is an older machine and probably would be worth putting that money into a new washer. I really appreciated the honest and help - would definitely call again if we have another issue!

Julio came out and diagnosed our problems, he was a great person to work with! They were fast, professional and would call them again in a heartbeat with any problems with our appliances.

I called Chicago Appliance in the morning. A representative called me soon thereafter to discuss what had happened and the possible problem. Then the technician called to get the model number of the oven so he could arrive with a replacement for the likely faulty part. He came that afternoon and replaced it, and the oven now works fine. All three people I spoke to were very helpful, all were timely, responsive and respectful. The tech, Julio, explained the problem and showed me what needed to be replaced. I was very happy with my experience with this company.

My refrigerator was not cooling so, after looking on Angi, I placed a call to this company on a Saturday at noon. I received a call-back within minutes, and was told that the service technician would be out by 2:00pm. Sure enough, Chi Chi and his assistant, David, arrived as promised. They removed a panel in the refrigerator and immediately diagnosed the problem: I had frost buildup which was hindering air circulation, despite having a self-defrosting refrigerator (!). Chi Chi told me to turn off the unit for 24 hours to allow all of the built-up internal ice to melt. I did this, and - voila! - I turned on the refrigerator, and it began to cool. After another day, all was back to normal. Thank you, Chi Chi and Chicago Appliance Service - great service and demonstrated expertise!

Perfect job. Rich Musil came a few hours after we phoned and had everything done in half an hour. Other companies were quoting 2 weeks!

I asked for a quote because my dishwasher wouldn't start. Rich called and was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem over the phone. It was an easy fix, and everything is working now. He was courteous, friendly, and obviously knows his stuff!

Was able to get my Whirlpool front load washer repaired within a couple hrs of me initiating a service call. Thank you Julio (technician) for an awesome job!!

Job completed once part came in. Individual was timely and professional. Fair price.
