Dishwasher diagnostics
Description of Work: Steve asked about the circuit breaker & asked me to shut off the one for the dishwasher. After doing that he said to turn it back on, he then shut the door to the dishwasher & it started. For this I paid $ 118 !?!? Really dishonorable . He then said that I should have talked to him on the phone- but he had forgotten that I did call him & he asked no diagnostic questions. He could’ve asked if I had tried the circuit breaker & saved himself a trip. He said that his schedule was busy & my service call was forced on him by the scheduling office, like it was an inconvenience to accept my service call.But then again, if I were able to troubleshoot the problem then they wouldn’t have scheistered my money out if me. Save your money. Try the Circuit Breaker first.

Repair a faulty dryer
Description of Work: After a quick call I was told Steve would call me. He called right away and was amazing. Diagnosed our dryer, took it completely apart to fix and clean it. In addition to the fix they were able to come out in less than 24 hours. We are more than satisfied with Steve and the company. Would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Fridge was on the blink -- freezer and refrigerated sections were both too warm. The service tech came early the next morning, quickly identified the problem and fixed it. He was in and out quickly and everything is working well, so far.

Fantastic.
Description of Work: Put in an ignitor in my oven. I have been smelling gas for some time. Had numerous people in wh o didn't smell gas. Finally had gas company come in confirm the gas leak and had Chicago Appliance come in and replace the already replaced igniting by another repair service, voila, smell is gone.

Description of Work: (Review by Sherry) My washer went crazy and I needed a fix it repair ASAP. The repairman that I got from Angies list was great. Chicago Appliance Service came as scheduled the next day, was not able to fix the problem ,but patched it and gave me recommendations when I go to purchase new one. I was charged a minimal service fee. I will definitely use them again.
