Very satisfactory experience! Prompt response from the company and they scheduled it on a Saturday as I needed. Called the night before to confirm, the day of, and when in front of my house. Rich quickly and efficiently replaced the heating element, wrote down the entire model number on my receipt for future reference, and got the job done. I will definitely use this company again.

The company was very responsive and performed all work quickly. We were a little disappointed when the first diagnosis was wrong--but we had been warned that it might be, so we weren't surprised. The second technician was much more knowledgeable and guessed the problem quickly. We were happy they did not charge us for the second repair, and, as a result, we would definitely use them again.

The man who came to do the job was excellent. He was friendly and pleasant and definitely knew what he was doing. He was originally scheduled to install the new part on the day after his first visit but complications happened with one of his other jobs, so my work was pushed back to the next day. He stayed in contact about this issue however and it was no problem.

They do excellent work. They are very honest as they could have easily told me that I needed more than necessary. I was happy that they saved me a lot of money by not having to buy a new unit.

On a Friday afternoon a house guest gave the oven knob a hard twist in the wrong direction to turn the oven on and broke the internal mechanism when she was preparing lunch. Although the knob was returned to the "off" position, the oven was stuck on broil, cycling off and on for hours with no way to turn it off. This was on a Friday afternoon, and I didn't discover what had happened until around 5:30 PM. I called these guys and a technician returned my call within 5 minutes. I described the situation and he told me exactly how to turn the stove off (alternately I could have called the gas company and had them come out and close the valve) and made an appointment to come the next day to repair the oven. Because it was a common model and problem he happened to have the correct replacement part in stock. He was over the next afternoon (a Saturday) and had the part replaced and the oven working within 30 minutes. He was fast, friendly, efficient, and extremely courteous.

Fantastic! The office manager was able to reach Al right away. In less than 30 seconds flat, Al stated that, due to the brand and age of the appliance, it was not even worth coming out and looking at it. He stated that he would not be able to get a replacement part for that, and that our best course of action would be to purchase a new unit. Although we were prepared to pay for a service call, I appreciate his honesty and saving us this cost. I have had other appliances in my home and business repaired by other companies, and the results have sometimes been lackluster. I would definitely consider contacting Al again, since our overall impression of him was that of honesty, integrity and professionalism.

While preparing for a dinner party to be held the next day I noticed that my freezer ice had started to melt - zowee - then notice my refrigerator was not as cold as usual - went to the list - found three 24 hour companies - call all - Chicago Appliance was the first to respond (this was 6 PM) and we scheduled a 7AM repair call - Chicago Appliance was prompt, found the problem immediately, had the parts in his truck, completed the repair in swift order.

It wasn't great. It took a few attempts to get them to my apartment. First they said they couldn't find parking so they left. After they finally repaired the machine and charged me $200 the problem returned. I called them back, admittedly a few weeks later because the first few loads were ok, they promised to have a different repair man call me back and schedule a follow up. They never called. I am now just going to go elsewhere.

The technician replaced the pilot(?) and checked the rest of the stove. I was surprised that he carried the part for such an old stove in his truck. Came when he said he would, was knowledgeable. I'd use this company again.

The repair man came promptly the day after I called -- he listened to the sound, and said it was just getting old. He said I could pay $300+ for a new motor, or just run it into the ground, and buy a new one when it goes kaput. I opted to keep using it. He assured me that it was not dangerous to run -- a fire hazard, for instance. It's annoying to have to pay forty-five bucks for essentially nothing, but these guys have to stay in business. All repair places charge like that. We were happy with the service; prompt and fast.

When I called the company I was requesting help with two problems. A Maytag washer that squeals after each cycle, and my oven which took a very long time to heat and then smelled of gas. I talked to Rich, who was the Tech, and he said that the Maytag is mainly just a noise problem at this point and he really wouldn't do anything at this point. The oven however was a problem that needed to be fixed. He came out when he promised and did an excellent job, very quickly. This company will be recommended to others! They actually seem to be honest and very prompt.

When I went down to do laundry on a Saturday afternoon I found my washer wasn't agitating or spinning. As a mother of 4 kids you can imagine I was a little upset. I called the office and was told a technician would call me back. Rich called me within 15 minutes, and to my surprise he said he could come later that day. I was so happy, with it being Saturday I was afraid I would have to wait until Monday. Rich came and fixed my problem within 30 minutes. I was very happy with the service and would definitely refer them to all my friends.

They came out the day after I called and were on time. The service man said that the machine was not broken but the cold water had been turned off. He charged me $37 for the service call.

Rich was on time. He found the problem right away and repaired it quickly.

My experience was excellent in every way. The technician diagnosed the problem over the phone, so he could make sure to have all necessary replacement parts on hand. He went out of his way to schedule the appointment at my convenience. And, even though the condition, wasn't dangerous, he came out the very next day after I spoke to him. He showed up on time, was very nice, explained everything he was doing, and was careful with my cooktop.

He was very thorough and explained that my washing machine, being old, was made better than the newer ones. He had to order a part and come back to install it. And he said that it should continue to work for a long time. He is very friendly. Definitely recommended.

We were charged $27 just for the technician to come out, plus $10. I am not sure what the $10 covered: travel costs, advice? Nevertheless, it was worth it. The technician was prompt and efficient.

I CALLED ON A FRIDAY AND GOT A QUICK FOLLOW UP CALL AND HE ARRIVED ON SATURDAY TO FIX THE DRYER. WE APPRECIATED THAT WE WERE NOT CHARGED EXTRA FOR THE WEEKEND AND THAT HE WAS ABLE TO COME QUICKLY TO FIX THE DRYER. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. WHEN WE ASKED HIM IF IT WAS WORTH FIXING THE DRYER AS OPPOSED TO BUYING A NEW ONE, HE TOLD US THAT WE HAD A GOOD MODEL THAT WOULD BE EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE.

RICH RESPONDED TO MESSAGE LEFT VERY PROMPTLY. WAS POLITE, ARRIVED AT THE TIME HE STATED HE WOULD BE HERE. CALLED TO LET US KNOW THE PROBLEM & COST.

THE GENTLEMAN WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING IN DETAIL. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH HIS HONESTY AND EFFICIENCY AND WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE HIM AGAIN. I DON'T REMEMBER EXACTLY HOW MUCH HE CHARGED, BUT I KNOW IT WAS LESS THAN $50.

REPAIR MAN CAME OUT ON TIME AND QUICKLY, AND CORRECTLY IDENTIFIED THAT THE INTAKE PIPE HAD BUILT UP RUST INSIDE. HE CLEANED IT OUT AND TESTED THE DISHWASHER TO MAKE SURE IT FUNCTIONED PROPERLY.

THE REPAIRMAN WAS ON TIME, COURTEOUS AND HONEST. WHEN THE MACHINE WORKED PROPERLY, HE COULD HAVE SOLD ME A "FIX", BUT HE DIDN'T. I APPRECIATE THAT. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I'VE USED THIS COMPANY.

HE SAID HE WOULD COME BETWEEN 4 PM AND 5 PM, BUT HE CALLED AND CAME EARLIER. HE CAME IN AND KNEW INSTANTLY WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND HE REPAIRED IT RIGHT AWAY!
