They are on Angie's List and are very good and knowledgeable. The guy knew exactly what the problem was and he was in and out of here in, probably, 15 minutes. They are very responsive and professional.

Sunday night my washer stopped draining with a load of laundry still inside. On Monday morning Mario came out and it was fixed by 11 am! Thanks you so much for the quick response and making a stressful situation much easier!

After a garbage disposal was removed, dishwasher did not drain properly and water leaked. Called Chicago Appliance and made an appointment. The service man arrived on time -- extremely polite and serious about his work, he found the problem and answered our questions as to repair. The problem was not with the appliance, but rather was caused by an incorrect connection to the plumbing system which required a plumber and a pipe part. We were very impressed and pleased with the service provided by Chicago Appliance and heartily recommend the company.

Discovered our 10+ year old oven wouldn't heat on Sunday. A little self-diagnosis on the internet suggested a dead ignitor. Called Chicago Appliance Service Monday - they have an answering service - and was promptly called back by one of the technicians, Mario. He was able to come out Tuesday afternoon and easily replaced the bad part. We would definitely use the company again.

Rich was very professional and knowledgable. He arrived on time and got to work immediately upon arrival. He fixed the problem and I was very happy with his service. The overall job did not take more than 45 minutes and eventhough his services were good - I thought the price was a little too expensive specially for removing a sock from the pump. I appreciated him taking the time to show me where the problem was and how to avoid it in the future. I will definitely use Rich / Chicago Appliance Company again.

Arrived on time, was courteous and efficient and explained what was wrong. We have used them before for a refrigerator repair and had similar experience. Would recommend them for all appliance repairs.

This company is very responsive and in my case was very prompt to call immediately after the service not to mention also was concerned why I was unhappy after my initial review. Al - the owner is a very professional and very educated. The person who showed up to fix the appliance however, had a ton of calls coming in - which I thought was a bit unprofessional however, probabaly also comes with the job. So will have to consider that acceptable. Overall Satisfied

Rich identified parts in need of replacement and identified the costs associated with them as well as probable labor costs. He also let us know that at least one of the parts might not any longer be available. He said that given the age of the range in his opinion it probably was not worth fixing and recommended purchasing a new range. He was very professional in his approach, and could have easily attempted to sell us expensive parts and service. I really appreciate the honest and straightforward approach that we received, and wouldn't hesitate to use this company again for any appliance repair related issues. Oven igniter went out the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving. Chicago Appliance Co. was out the next day by 8:00am when we were told the techician would arrive,and completed the job by 8:30am! Fast, professional, polite....definitely will use again and recommend to others.

We have a double sink in the kitchen, and when we ran the garbage disposal after doing dishes, water backed up into the other sink. As the problem grew, drainage in the dishwashing sink got worse. When the plumber came, he cleared the line from the sink to the thsin outside the house, and told us how to avoid the problem in future.

My freezer stopped cooling one night so I originally called a Sears technician. The tech came out and it seemed like this was the first GE refrigerator that they had ever seen before. Needless to say I was very unhappy so I asked the tech to leave and not perform any maintenance. After that experience I looked up appliance reviews and found Chicago Appliance Service. They had positive feedback so I scheduled the appointment. A tech came out the next day. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a fried mother board. He had a replacement part on his truck which he then installed. After that he cleaned off the condenser coils at no additional charge. The entire visit lasted less than an hour and I was very satisfied with the visit. I actually am having a separate issue with the water dispenser on the same refrigerator so I will be calling Chicago Appliance Service again in the near future.

Arrived quickly. Solved the problem quickly. Charged the minimum fee. I was pleased. End of story.

This provider was a last minute find as the scheduled on cancelled at the last minute due to a "sick" technician. I called in the morning and they were able to arrive within 3 hours. The dishwasher had been leaking but I wasn't sure of the source. We couldn't replicate the leak after putting the pieces back together and running a couple of cycles. We finally determined that the door hadn't been fully closed when the cycle had run (the door has a tendency to catch on the cabinet drawer). Silly cause and in hindsight a waste of time and money but at least I received confirmation that was the problem. I also got his opinion on how to remove the dishwasher if a replacement was needed and the news wasn't as good there. Unfortunately part of the floor would need to be removed due to the depth of the dishwasher relative to the floor but at least I won't need to do that for a while.

The serviceman came out right away, looked at the fridge and leveled with me. He said that it would cost about 800.00 to fix, and that I would be wasting my money by paying them to do so. He said to put the money towards buying a new unit instead. Anytime someone gives me advice that means they won't be the ones making money I am impressed. He could have said to put the 800.00 into the old machine and I would have probably done just that. Would definitely use these folks again.

Called in for service mid-morning, they arrived mid afternoon, and were finished in about 40 minutes or so. Excellent service.

WOW! I called for a broken oven 2 days before Thanksgiving. He showed up here with the right part and had it fixed 1 1/2 hours after I called. This year, I'm giving thanks that I can cook!

Rich arrived within the time frame he gave me. He was quick to diagnose the problem and had my washer working within 30 minutes. He did an excellent job showing what was wrong with the machine. Price was great as well. Very friendly and very professional. I highly recommend this company.

I had read many, many reviews on Angie's List about Chicago Appliances, & everyone raved about Mario. So, when I called for an appointment, I too requested Mario! Well, he is a magician! He took care of EVERYTHING (which included getting hard to find parts), made sure everything was in order, followed up with phone calls asking if everything was working... I can't say enough about Mario AND Chicago Appliances - they are the ONLY company I'll ever call again for appliance services!

The second contractor assessed the probable cause over the phone and when he and his helper arrived they let me know that they needed to replace a part. I was given credit for the amount that I spent on the first call. Both contractors were very nice and professional and I would call this company again if I need help with anything else.

Our dryer was making a loud clunking noise, so Mario from Chicago Appliance came out. Mario was on time and figured out the problem very quickly. 30 minutes later, my dryer has a new blower and is running perfectly. I will definitely hire them again.

I usually use another service company,but they did not repair Bosch dishwashers. However, Chicago Appliance Service Co. did repair Bosch in my area. The service technician was very professional and amicable. He took his time and diagnosed the problem. He told me that the motor/pump assembly was bad, and would not be cost efficient to repair. He advised me to by a good old fashion Whirlpool dishwasher for half the price of the Bosch. He also informed me that it will be cheaper to repair in the future. I am very happy with this company for their honesty.

Overall experience was great.
