These folks are TERRIFIC. This is the second repair we have had them do (the previous one was for a dishwasher) and this is THE BEST repair experience we've had. From the time we first called for service, until they came and completed the repair, was a total of less than three hours, which is outstanding. David, our service technician, was courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. He diagnosed the leak as coming from the solenoid valve, told us that he had a new one on his truck along with the cost, and proceeded to make the repair. We highly recommend Chicago Appliance Service and they will be the only place we call any time we need an appliance repair.

Manny the service Tech was Excellent!.... I had service the next day. Manny stayed to get the second Job done and went out of his way to take care of us.

Excellent. Rich diagnosed the problem over the phone and over to repair it the same day. I had my washing machine working in no time. He saved me a trip to laundry mat. I would definitely recommend this company, there are very dedicated and committed.

I called the company number and talked to the answering service. About a half hour later got a call back from Rich. He was able to come the next morning. He was there at 8AM as promised, and seemed to know right away what the problem was. The quote seemed reasonable, and the dryer was fixed and working great in about 15 minutes, tops. Just what you want from a repair service: punctuality, knowledge, and speedy repair!

He found out that the thermostat was not working and had to replace the fan and motor. He was very knowledgeable and repaired my refrigerator within 30 to 40 minutes. He saved me from having to buy a new refrigerator. Plus he gave me 10% off with my coupon.

We had no problems. He was punctual and fixed the machine. I would definitely use their services for future work.

I called on Friday 23 Jan 15, to have my washer fixed, they came out on 24 Jan 15 in the early morning. Richard called me to even tell me he was out front. He came in took his shoes off, even after i told him that was not needed. He explained everything to me step by step. He was a really knowledge guy. It took him under an hour and my washer is back up and running. He explained to me about laundry bags for smaller items. I not only recommend this company, but i strongly advise people to ask for Richard. He is a really nice guy, and took his time with me. This machine was bought from a major company, and there technicians would have took 2 weeks to come out and fix it. A++ from me.

It went very well. The technician, Rich, was professional and knowledgeable. it turned our our dryer had several problems. First, Rich was able to determine that all the glides were worn away. After replacing the parts was done, he tested the dryer and found another problem, a missing washer/nut on the drum itself. It was most likely this was missing when the dryer was assmbled . My wife and I must of gotten used to the noise this missing part caused. Rich was able to install a compatible washer/nut replacement. Afterward, there was another problem causing noise, which he determined was the drum pin. He removed this from the drum and it was full of lint and other 'junk'. He cleaned it and reinstalled. All the noises have been eliminated. Once Rich fixed the three root causes, the dryer sounds as good as new. I'm very happy with his response time and communication. He was professional and very friendly. Will use this service again, highly recommended

It was barely two hours between the time I called to the time he was finished. And this was on a Friday! Prompt, professional and reliable. It's hard for me to speak to cost since I don't know what others charge but for this level of service it's certainly reasonable to me. I would definitely call them again without hesitation.

I watched a puddle making its way out from beneath my washing machine. I called Chicago Appliance Service Co. around 10 a.m. to request a repairman. I was greeted by a live person - an answering service! - and not voice mail. How refreshing! All of my information was taken down - name, address, phone number, nature of problem. I was assured that a repairman would call me back within 10 minutes. And he did! His name was Rich. He asked for the make and model of my washing machine so that he could begin to diagnose prior to coming out, stating he would call back within another 10 minutes. And he did! He gave me a window for arrival which was very close in time - between noon and 2 pm. He called 30 minutes before arriving, and arrived before 1 pm. He dismantled the machine to find the leak. He ran the washing machine in order to locate the leak, filling the tub a bit and then running the spin cycle. It turned out that there is a very small crack on the bottom side of the wash tub and it wasn't leaking heavily, but Rich found it. I appreciate the fact that he was thorough in his search, not giving up when the tub didn't immediately start leaking upon fill and spin. He kept at it until the leak was found. Rich was knowledgable, professional and also very friendly. I will use Chicago Appliance Service Co. again in the future for other appliance repair issues.

The job took a bit longer than expected, but only because it took longer than expected to get the needed parts. Once the parts came in, everything went perfectly and the job was completed within an hour. Al, the owner, did a great job of making sure everything happened when they promised. I would definitely use them again!

Rich called ahead to let me know what time he'd get here, and arrived on time. He checked and serviced both appliances, and, while here, called to see if he could get a part for a 40 (yes 40!) year old stove. (No longer available). I would use Chicago Appliance again -- ask for Rich!

I gave him the model number and he correctly anticipated the likely problem and brought the part with him, thus requiring only one visit. Arrived on time, in and out in 30 minutes.

$128 vs a new dryer and a new garbage disposal? This was no contest. Mario came and checked out all my appliances before and tested all of them (dishswasher, stove, microwave, washer, dryer, refridgerator). All worked and I didn't have to change any of them. This time, the dryer didn't work and he found the issue in 15 min. He fixed it in another 15 min. Total time 30 min. The garbage disposal was also not working. He dug out a metal spoon and saved me the cost of a new garbage disposal. 30 min more. He called me before the appt in case of delay. He had all the tools and parts, he was fast, clean and efficient. These guys are my new appliance maintenance go to guys.

Called at 10am on a Saturday-- Rich came over by 2pm--Went to work immediately-- diagnosed problem quickly-- 20 minute repair plus parts. Unit works perfectly now

This is the 2nd time in the last 3 years that I've had occasion to use this provider. And.. the service remains excellent. The answering service is courteous, obtains the appropriate information and replies that you will receive a call back within 15 minues.... and you do! The serviceman, Rich, called me promptly and set an appointment for the next day - Saturday. There is NO add'l service charge for a weekend call! Working women (and men) thank you! Rich pre-assessed the problem on my 15 yr old dryer from the "symptoms" I described on the phone and gave me a 3 hr. window for the next day's service call. He said he would call within 20 - 30 minutes of arrival - and he did. He called again when he arrived at my home - on time! In addition to what he determined during the phone call I needed an additional part - which he had! I really thought I w/b shopping for a new dryer - but the repairs made the dryer run like new. This provider is the real deal! They are courteous, prompt, professional, cost effective - and most important - TRUSTWORTHY! That says it all. They should have A+ ratings for this company and their servicemen. Would recommend Chicago Appliance Service to anyone in the Chicago/Suburban area!.

The serviceman was very punctual and direct with his evaluation. he advised that we get a new machine as the cost of repair were prohibitive. I was happy to pay the $50 for the advice.

I called this morning and they offered to come out this afternoon to fix a squeak in my oldish GE dryer. The repairman, Rich, called first and then arrived on time this afternoon. He looked at the dryer and determined that the apparatus that the drum turns on had worn out. He had the part to replace the worn out one. He showed me the old part. He was done in about 30 minutes. He was very professional.
