Got a same-day appointment. Rich came, listened to my description of the problem, which did not recur while he was there, and changed the belts, which seemed like a reasonable thing to do, as they were a bit worn. While there, he also improved the cold water flow. He knew what he was doing and worked efficiently.

I received a call back from a tech within 20 minutes of my initial call and had an appointment scheduled for the next afternoon. The tech was even able to come about 15 minutes early which worked to my convenience. He found the belt had come off the motor and took care of the problem. I successfully dried a load of laundry after he left. I appreciated the tech showing me what happened to the dryer and also explaining how everything functions so I'll have a better understanding if it ever breaks down again. Very happy with this company!

Excellent! Will was very professional & engaging. Gave me suggestions on how to care for my appliances that were very helpful. Keeping their card handy for first call for any of my appliance needs.

Rich came on time, was very polite, and fixed our oven in a matter of minutes for a reasonable price. Will use Chicago appliance againbif anything else breaks.

Great -- we called their service at 2:30pm today (Saturday). It's now 3:30pm, Rich has already come and gone & we're back up and running. Couldn't have been easier. The element was expensive (a new electric dryer costs about 2 to 2.5x the total element cost + the service) but hopefully it lasts us another 10 years. Very happy with Rich and the service rendered.

When company's answering service told me "a technician" would be calling me, I thought, "Yeah, right," and prepared to call someone else. But a technician, Rich, did call me back within 15 minutes, and then came right over and fixed the oven -- no problem. My wife pronounced it "a miracle."

Wil came out on time, called 1/2 before his arrival, was knowledgeable and incredibly efficient and cleaned up after himself. He even vacuumed clean our dryer for us! he had the part on the truck and repaired the dryer quickly. I would highly recommend Wil and Chicago Appliance as one of the best service experiences I have had!

I called for Service at 7:27 AM. Rich returned my call in 15 minutes, asked a few questions said he'd be out at 9:30. Rich called again about 8:55 and said he'd be here in a few minutes. Belt was replaced and dryer was fully functional by 9:27 AM. And the cost was very reasonable. I can't imagine faster, more professional, more reasonably priced service.

Really well, they were very professional, called back right away, set up an appointment the next day, came out when they said they would and brought the right parts. It worked for a few days, and then went out again, so called back and they came right out, replaced some additional parts and didn't charge me for the additional call. Now that's service! The guys did a great job in informing of the problem, showing me the parts they replaced, cleaned up after themselves, and were in and out in 30 minutes.

Manny was a terrific repair technician ... He identified the problem immediately as this seems to be a common problem with refrigerators with the freezer on the bottom of the unit. He unclogged the drain and also proactively vacuumed the condenser coils. I would definitely use this company again.

Chicago Appliance Service was wonderful. I called before they opened and the answering service was friendly and efficient. Someone from the company called me within a half an hour. They scheduled a repair person for a service call that afternoon. That afternoon the repairmen called and asked if they could come before the scheduled window. They quickly analyzed the problem and had the parts necessary for repair in their truck. The repairmen were friendly and efficient. They gave me a discount because I was referred by Angie's List.

Wil called before he arrived as promised, was punctual, was helpful and fixed our washer. He was clean and helped to set the room back to its original arrangement.

Rich stopped by and did an excellent job. My oven wouldn't pre heat normally and he quickly fixed the issue. We were grateful!

Rich came out when he said...with calls 20 mins before and then when in front of our house...He diagnosed the problem right away and fixed the coils. Dryer works perfectly an the total visit took about 45 minutes....Great Service

I chose Chicago Appliance because of the number of good reviews on Angie's List. Since this was a Saturday, I was surprised the Dave and Chi Chi were at our house within 3 hours of the phone call. They quickly diagnosed that the main control board was out. They said that they would return with a new one early Monday. As promised, they were there first thing Monday, and the work was finished by 9 AM. 33.

DISHONEST! We caught the tech trying to rip us off. Here is the feedback direct from my tenant: "On the day of our appointment, the technician DIDN'T SHOW UP. The owner was very apologetic and wanted to reschedule with a discount for the trouble. But they were FOUR HOURS LATE to the rescheduled appointment anyway! Since they were very concerned about the reviews on Angie's List, they said they would do the work for 50% of what it would typically cost -- which was great. But then the technician said he could write the receipt for whatever amount we wanted, give him "a little extra on the side," and ESSENTIALLY SCREW OVER THE OWNERS/LANDLORDS. HE SAID HE "DOES THIS ALL THE TIME" and it's no big deal. Just wanted to give you a heads up because it's something I would want to know and kind of rubbed me the wrong way..."

it was excellent. I called them at 7 pm. Answering service took my info and told me technician would call me back in 15 minutes. and he did. his name was Rich. Rich came to fix my oven at 7:30am the mext day before I went to work, so I didn't have to take time off. he was on time, very professional and helpful and took care of the problem right there. no second visit necessary. Great service.

Great! The service person (Elvis) was smart, thorough, clean and helpful. He was very transparent in what and how he fixed the washer. It's a recent vintage Kenmore washer, but it had a very cheaply made plastic part that kept the drum from spinning; thus, broken washer. Elvis did a great job replacing the part and leveling the machine again on my bumpy basement floor.

the technician was extremely helpful (I believe his name was rich). he took all of 30 minutes to fix the problem. he explained to me what happened, why it happened and how to avoid it happening in the future. prompt & professional service.

They did a good job. David and Rick were great. They seemed to know what they're doing, even though I have older appliances. Everything is working properly.
