Required and done in 30 minutes. Works great. Gave us recommendations for better performance. We thought we would need to buy new.

It was completely a professional job. He did the work, explained the work and demonstrated the repair. You couldn't ask for a better job. Also they were very prompt and at my house the next day after my call

I received a call from Al, he was very apologetic because he doesn't repair the unit that I submitted a request for, but was very helpful and said that he would be glad to help us with any other appliances. His genuine concern was refreshing and I know I will call him when we do have other appliances in need of repair. Customer service does still exist, at least with some companies!

I left a message for Chicago Appliance Service Co along with a couple other companies over the weekend and Al at Chicago Appliance was the only one that returned the call over the weekend. I spoke to him about our range needing a new appliance regulator, and he went over the pricing. I scheduled the appointment with them about a week later. Adrian was professional, on time and did a great job. With the coupon they offer here for Angie's members, we saved a few dollars as well. Overall was a great experience. Al and Adrian were great and I would definitely recommend them for any of your appliance repairs. We will call them again for any appliance repairs we will need.

Excellent service! I was very pleased.

The service man called ahead the he was on the way, meeting the appointment time he projected the day before. The service professional checked the dryer and found it very clean, with good air flow from the vent. Smell might be an indication that the motor is overheating, i.e., nearing the end of its life. After he confirmed the price of $341. for replacing the motor, we decided to wait and see if the problem continues or gets worse. He indicated that the service call fee would be waived if any service is needed within the next 30 days, i.e., so we would not have to pay it twice.

Had to come back a second day in order to give freezer time to defrost. But otherwise fine. Called both times to give eta which was 15-30 min later than expected. But the call in advance made a big difference.

Dryer was not heating up properly. I called in the morning and got the answering service. My call was returned within the hour, and a technician was sent to my residence by 1:00pm, well within the two hour window given. Problem was diagnosed and fixed in less than an hour. Professional, courteous, clean, and capable. Would definitely hire again.

They scheduled a weekend visit within a couple of days, ans he was right on time. He was able to fix the freezer with little trouble but the washer needed a $400 repair. He did not charge us for looking at the washer. The whole time he was very professional, and courteous.

Rich was here within a couple of hours of my initial call, very knowledgable and nice, explained what he was doing while he worked, got the part he needed out of his van, and made the repair in under half an hour. Washer up and running.

Adrian was a true professional. It was a quick return call from the company (sometimes you have to wait a long time for a call back, but not with this company). He came to my house within 24 hours of me calling and arrived exactly the time he told me he would arrive. He had to travel a distance, and came the same day I talked to him. I don't usually write reviews, but in this case I felt like I wanted to relay my positive experience. He was polite, well spoken, trustworthy and confident in his work. You could tell that he knew exactly what he was doing. I thought I probably needed a new motor because my dryer is an older model. He opened it all up, cleaned out some heavy debris and BAM! Dryer fixed! I thought it would have been so much more than what he discovered the problem to be. I didn't need a new motor at all. I very much appreciate that. He also cleaned the lint and whatever needed cleaning behind the dryer before returning it to it's spot. I would recommend Adrian and Chicago Appliance Service Co. for any of your appliance service needs. Reliable, reasonably priced and got the job done! Thanks Adrian! I can do laundry again!

Rich checked the dryer and found out the ignitor was shorted. Had one in his truck and installed. Everything was explained and he showed me the new one comparing it with the old one.

Rich came right on time (8am) and finished in half an hour. He really knows his older Maytags! The estimate he gave us for a major repair on the washer would have been okay, but we had ordered the parts from Amazon and never got around to fixing it. He confirmed that we ordered what we needed, and since we're already in it for over $100 (for the parts) we decided to attempt to fix it ourselves.

The repairman called ahead, was on time, finished the work quicky and efficiently in a professional manner. I recommend them and would use them again! Great experience!!

Would hire Chicago Appliance Service again. Had washer repaired and good to go within 24 hours of my initial phone call. Very professional and responsive.

The technician called me exactly when I was told he would, he was able to come out on the same day, diagnosed the problem quickly, has the part in his truck, and performed the repair quickly. Very happy with the service.

Outstanding service and process from end to end. Called Friday, and was in touch with a technician within 5 minutes. Booked a time next day that worked with my schedule. David verified my model number so he would have parts on hand, called to confirm he was on his way well within the scheduled 2 hour window. He was professional, punctual and explained everything to me about what was broken (inverter for compressor). He retrieved the part, installed and explained what he had done. Left me the old part, and gave a timeframe of when the cooling capacity would return. He mentioned the 90-day warranty and that they would return at no charge if anything did not work in that time-frame. Would definitely use them again, and David was awesome!

Adrian arrived right as scheduled, took a look at the drier and confirmed it was a broken belt. He opened it up, did a quick inspection, showed me what needed to be replaced and gave me the estimate. And then suddenly he was done and the drier was back in action. It's taken me longer to write this review than it did for Adrian to do the repair. We've had Chicago Appliance Company out before to replace a part on the refrigerator. Now the drier. I'm certain we'll need to have them back when the next thing breaks or shows its age.
