great job! Charlie is very puntual & responsable, he does an outstading job

Charlie and Scott were very prompt and very professional in completing the job. They did a great job installing the furnace and humidifier and in making sure I understood what they had done and what I needed to pay attention to with the new equipment. They took care in cleaning up after themselves. I have used them for years for routine cleaning/servicing and would highly recommend them. They are polite, professional and know their business.

The job went well overall. Charlie and Scott performed the work. Both were neat and conscientious of the work area and the fact that my cat was in the yard part of the time. They remembered to keep the yard gate closed. The initial start up went well and Charlie explained the different switches and thermostat to me. When the unit's fan started to make a loud noise, Charlie took off the face cover and discovered a loose piece of paper that was hitting the fan. Both guys were great and I would hire them again. I appreciated the fact that Charlie lives in my neighborhood as well.

it didn't go. he came out to take a look at the job and then just disappeared (it's a good building in the Gold Coast, not anything scary)

They did a good job. They were on time. They also responded to me well.

Overall, CHAS Heating should be ranked as the most oustanding heating company in Chicago. I told Charlie about what the contractors told me about the heating system. He said they were wrong and explained why. Charlie installed four vents in the basement, but also removed an unused vent. He told me how the heat should flow through the basement. He asked to check the rest of the house to make sure things were working properly. He also suggested I change the heating vent while the basement is getting renovated. He closed up areas in the heating unit where he saw air leaking. The people renovating the basement closed up key areas. He told me to make sure I had them to fix it. Wow, what a nice guy. He did not jack up the price or ask for additional money for pointing out flaws in the renovation. I am going to use CHAS Heating and Air Conditioning forever.

Chas is amazing. Their professionalism was top notch. They were diligent about confirming appointments, arrived on time, explained clearly what they were going to do and why, performed the job without a hitch. Worked quickly and efficiently. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I would use them for all my HVAC needs.

Scott responded very quickly and came out to our house right away. I was thrilled that he didn't try to sell us a bigger AC unit when all we needed was a thorough cleaning. I have since learned that most of the problems people have with their AC are because they need to be cleaned once a year. Who knew?

He has been doing this service for me for the last 9 years like clock work! His prices are great and he has always been very trustworthy. I also have sent him to my mother's house because of the great work he did for me (she is in her 80's and I knew he would not disappoint us)! I will continue to use him and have and would recommend him to others!

Charlie and Scott are awesome. We have hired them before to convert our radiator heat to central Heat and A/C. We rehired them to rearrange the duct (and convert to hard duct per code, etc per above). They are extremely reliable, punctual, and professional. We've given them keys to the house because we trusted them highly. The job overall took 4-5 days, and they were on time and efficient throughout. If doing it again, I'd have them in before we demolished so that they could have suggested how to minimize work needed (and likely my price!). Although I did not take more than their bid for this project, I feel their price was very fair. P.S. The one time we were without A/C (the unit had accumulated to many leaves), Scott and Charlie were out to our house within 24 hours to fix for us. Scott even grabbed the hose and cleaned the unit and showed us how to do it for future. Cost for that service was also so reasonable. You can't go wrong with this team!
