I left two messages, the first of which was on Monday, and have not received a return call, and it is now Thursday.

They came and did a very good job. They were professional and punctual. There was a small miscommunication with the billing and they sorted it out. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

Work was never done - we used another contractor

Excellent work! Quality re-roofing job! Prompt, professional, & reliable service! Roofers were hardworking and cleaned up after themselves. One piece of equipment made a gouge in garage door, but Brian Allendorfer promptly sent someone out to repair and paint over the damaged area. Unfortunately, the paint color used was darker than the color of the garage door and the area painted covered a larger area than needed. I didn't notify Mr. Allendorfer about these results, but my guess is that he would have taken care of it.

I had been given their name by someone who had used them and was very pleased. I called and was told I needed to call back tomorrow and speak to "Laurie." I asked if someone could take a message since I would be unable to call and was told no - please call back tomorrow. I called 2 days later and left a message on the generic voicemail (they have no option to leave a message for a particular person) and no one returned the call - have yet to receive a call back. Guess business is so good they don't need any more work!

Brian Allendorfer Constructions came recommended from our property inspector and overall we were extremely satisfied. They did a complete tear off and replacement of the roof and the quality of their work was excellent. My only complaints would be that they do not always follow up on calls and are not proactive in communication. When spending $16000 I expect to NOT have to call and ask why you're not there, when you're coming, etc. Likewise-there were a couple of instances where I questioned the work they were doing because it was not what had been described to me. They were supposed to grind out and replace the all of tuck pointing on the parapet wall-I found them doing a partial replacement. They were supposed to bring the flashing up and under the coping tiles-when I asked they indicated they were not going to do that, that they'd bring it up to the coping tiles. Both issues were quickly and easily resolved by the workers contacting their "boss" but I should not have to manage the work being done to ensure it is done correctly.

According to the contract, they need to finish the interior boxes of the skylights in our home. They have yet to do this. When we make phone calls, they ignore them and are not returned. For one scheduled appointment, we were stood up. He never phoned us. We just want them to finish the job for us. We still have to work out a final bill.

Needed a complete tear-off and re-roof. I submitted an internet request and waited. I called to check on that request and asked if the company received said request. The female call taker informed me that myself along with 50 others had submitted such request but she needed to take my information again and gave me an appointment for an estimate. One week later I called and spoke to the same female call taker who informed me that maybe the estimate was done, without my knowledge but once again she could not find any information for me. She informed if the estimate was not completed she would contact me and set up an appointment. Well, three weeks later and no call, no estimate and their reputation that many have told me about being the best is in the toilet. I understand businesses get busy but a mere phone call would sufficient.

Tried to get an estimate from this company, whom set an appointment and requested I be there. Never showed, I then called to confirm and no answer so left a voicemail that they never returned. Called again next day and was told that somebody had been by to take pictures and they will call or send me an estimate in about a week. um, okay. glad I took two hours off of work to sit at home and wait for someone whom never came while I was there. 10 days later, no calls, mailed estimate, or emailed. Nobody knows whom was out to view the property or call you back. Save your time and contact a company that would like your business enough to call you back.

I called on a Wednesday (8/6/08) to get a estimate and was told a person would stop by on Friday. The estimator arrived on the day and time specified. He was very professional in determining the source of my problem and even found other possible problems which needed attention. He show me a number of pictures showing the problem areas and said I would get an estimate in a few days. After more than a week that past I decided to call the company to get a status on the estimate and was told that my request would be forwarded to the appropriate person. After another week went by and no estimate received, I decided to E-mail them to find out why I haven't received an estimate and again I never got a call or a mailed estimated from this company. I just can't believe a well rated company like this one would not even respond and if they now did I probably would not hire them even if the price was right.

They do phenomenal work. Very detail oriented and do exactly what you ask them to do. Will change something if you don't like it. Very easy to work with and incredibly neat and clean. I was shocked with the drywalling, I went to work and came home and there was no dust, one might think it had always been there!

They were punctual, polite, professional, and reasonable. These guys do a great job! They are the only people I call now.

They have very reasonable prices and they do exactly what they say they will do. They treat me very fine, they are real good and very professional in everything. The thing about them is that it took forever for the products to get ordered, but everything was perfect with the color, installation, and the follow through.

It went very smoothly. I got estimates from three companies and theirs was the most complete and most informative. Everything was done professionally. They showed up and worked hard. They cleaned up everything when they were done.

I saw water stains along my family room wall below a skylight, I had a representative of the company come out to examine my skylight. After going up on the roof, he assured me that he saw no problems with the skylight and I was probably seeing condensation. The very next time it rained I saw quite a bit of water streaming in. They are completely incompetent and due to their incompetence I also had to repair my drywall. I had another roofer out and all that was needed was a simple repair. I also asked for a quote on having ice and water shielding installed and they never responded back with a quote. Don't waste your time with these bozos.

They were really super! I was very happy with them!

We called regarding sealing split block and general concrete masonry repairs for our building. The man came out promptly to do the initial assessment and was pleasant, but then never got back to me with an estimate. I waited about 4-6 weeks, called, and was told that he would get back to me. After several phone calls and over 3 months later I gave up, and I told the office staff (they were very nice by the way) that I would be reporting this on Angie's list. I am very disappointed, especially considering the great reviews here on the list. I should also say that it was not Brian who I was dealing with directly or who did the assessment. No project done.

Phil seemed knowledgeable. Unfortunately, we never received an estimate for the job. We emailed him and never heard a reply. We were disappointed because he seemed knowledgeable and the desk staff at B. Allendorfer seemed competent as well.

They did not show up for the first appointment and never called. I had to call to reschedule. They showed up for the second appointment. I never received a quote or a call from the company or the owner. I called up more than 4 times over a 6-8 week period. I left 2 additional messages for the owner indicating I had been referred by a customer of theirs (my girlfriend) who had them do lots of work.

Have not yet contacted this vendor.

Estimator came out promptly and promised a bid in a week. That was 3 weeks ago. Called to follow up. Money must grow on trees these days.

I've used Brian in the past and the experience has always a been extremely good. His follow through on any issues or questions is great.

I would never hire them again as they do not honor their contracts. I contacted them following the job as the areas were still leaking. The supervisor stated that my neighbor was rude to the crew. He would not come back out to repair the problem. I stated the leaking issue does not have anything to do with my neighbor as they needed to resolve the issue. The company never completed any follow-up repairs nor returned my telephone calls. They are very unprofessional in every aspect.

They did a very good job, but I was a bit disappointed. My husband left work early to meet them. They had given us a window of time, and they arrived 15 minutes earlier. They didnt wait until the window time started, so we had to reschedule. It took them a long time to come out. I have no idea how much we paid.

B Allendorfer did the whole 9 yards. He put the new roof on and cleaned up the debris that was on the roof. They were just a little pricey but I thought their work was well worth the price that they charged me.
