They are great and I love them. They are good to call you back however the quality of their workers are not good. They were drinking on the job. Their prices are reasonable. Overall, they did a good job.

The whole process took several weeks. Roof was done first, then windows, siding, soffit, fascia, gutters, cement work awnings. Workers were always on time, kept the work site clean. Left only materials that they had to use the next work day. Different crews performed different jobs. All the men were respectful of property. If there was something that was damaged you can be assured the problem will be fixed. I would recommend Blue Sky in a heartbeat. Chris was prompt and accurate in his quote. I researched the job with three different contractors. One of the contractors was known to me for work he had done previously at my old home. All contractors quoted very closely to each other.I chose Blue Sky because Chris gave a very thorough quote. He didn't leave one thing out and had the quote to me the very next day. I am extremely happy with the work Blue Sky performed and so are all my new neighbors. My house went from being the eyesore on the block to a very well kept home. I thank Chris and the Blue Sky team for that.

This is by far the BEST contractor experience we have had. From the beginning Chris was a pleasure to work with. We knew this was going to be a big project and that there were going to be price adjustments TBD once the work started. I had total trust that Blue Sky was going to be fair with the added work. They were very transparent in the process by taking pictures and speaking to me before any work was done that we had not previously discussed. The job took a little over a week to complete and at the end of each day they did an impressive cleanup job on the entire property. Chris was very accessible by phone and email. Most of the experience was good until they did the concrete work for the new stairs. The process of getting the permit was ridiculous. I don't know if it was their fault or the city's fault. After the concrete was done, my stairs started flaking so I wasn't too happy about that. They were not even a year old before they started flaking at the top. They were always here every time I called. They were always punctual and professional. I wouldn't use them again for stairs but I would use them for tuckpointing.

The roof itself was well done, and has given us no problems for almost 3 years. Blue Sky accommodated our requests and left us with a neat job, both on the roof and on the ground. However, they installed a rain gutter at the wrong angle, so that water collects at one end, often leaving that end of the gutter completely filled with water. When shown the problem, they did not take responsibility for it, refused to fix it, and blamed it on the roof design, even though the same roof served us without this problem for 30+ years before. Rather than go to the trouble of trying to force them to fix the problem, the condo association will have to spend additional money to have the problem corrected by another contractor. This lack of responsiveness on the part of Blue Sky is a demerit to a job otherwise well done.

Chris showed up on time to give the estimate and once we signed and agreed to the price he was out the next day to do the work. Chris also looked over the entire flat roof and found a few small items and took care of them at no extra cost. We will definitely call them again!

Somebody from Blue Sky showed up on time to look at our roof. He spent approximately 30 minutes looking at it. After the inspection, we did not hear back from Blue Sky for an entire week. After 10 days, I called them but the person who did the estimate was out of reach. In the end, it took a total of 2 weeks to get a quote from them. We did not end up using them.

We decided not to go forward with the work. They were pretty quick to get out, take a look and get us a bid. They seemed professional and timely. Their prices seemed competitive with other people.

Overall everything was excellent, and all projects went smoothly and finished just as we agreed.

Their quote was a little more than I could pay right then. I did not dislike anything about them; they were very professional and timely in getting here. I was very pleased with their response to my inquiry. They came when they said they would.

I contacted Blue Sky Roofing as I needed to have a chimney cap installed on my house as a condition for sellling it. I talked to Jay who set up a time to take a look just a few days later. He gave me a quote within a few more days and indicated that a portion of this was due in advance of scheduling the work. Being on a relatively tight time schedule, I made a point of dropping a deposit off at the Blue Sky Roofing office so that the work could be scheduled. At that point I clarified the precise work needed, just a chimney cap, no additional work which had initially been recommended. I was informed that this would be relayed to Jay who was out of the office, but would call me later in the day to schedule when the work could be done. Several days later I had still not heard back from Jay so I contacted him. He informed me that they were behind schedule due to recent rains, but that he would schedule my work as soon as the weather cleared again. This time he did call me within a few days, and the work was set for 11/7/12. After the correct house was estabished (my house was set way back in the lot, so the workers had checked out the situation on my neighbors house the day prior) , two workers and Jay arrived to install the chimney cap. The work was done with no problems, and Jay supervised the process the entire time. It was also at this time that Jay told me that they had a minimum charge of $350 to make it worhwhile for the company, but that he talked the owner into only charging me only $320. Jay was very apologetic about this but indicated that this was just the company policy. As the work had started and I was on a deadline I felt I had little recourse but to pay this amount. While I have no issues with Jay, who was very personable, or the work that was done, as the workers were extremely competent, I do take exception to the statement on their website: "No job to big or small". To me this motto does not lend itself to a "minimum charge, and I wish that I had been informed that there was a minimum service fee in advance rather than at the point at which work was starting. I certainly understand the reason for this, and even the need for it, but I like to be informed in advance. All of this said, I will still consider Blue Sky Roofing as an option for masonry work that I need to have done on my new house. I know that this work will be well above the minimum charge... unfortunately.

No complaints, they did an overall great job, minimal intrusiveness and cleaned up well.

From the very first meeting for estimates, I thought Chris was very pleasant and professional as were his workers. The overall experience was great even when there was a mishap during the roof project, I pointed it out to Chris and he handled the situation honorably and professionally. I am very happy to have found Blue Sky on Angie's List and will be using them again for some interior projects in the near future.

Solid overall. Honest estimate. Just needed a minor fix, but I will be calling Blue Sky when we need tuck pointing done in future.

Paul was thorough and frank when he came out to do the estimate. The bid was competitive (in the middle) of the three we solicited. Paul was good about communication, though we ended up having to wait a bit because it was a busy season in late summer/early fall. The work was completed on schedule. The crew was careful since some of the work involved an area near some parking spots for the condo. We haven't had a problem with the downspout since. NOTE: This work was done for the condo association; not our particular unit.

They performed all services promptly and professionally. I jad numerous bids from other contractors and Blue Sky met or beat all of them.

Everything was handled courteously and professionally. They explained what would be done, when, and the cost. The cost was very reasonable given the quality of the work performed. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We called for an estimate. They came out and took measurements but also consulted with us on what we want to accomplish the build. I did explain to them the budget for the build and they assisted in the design in order to meet budget and get the functionality that we needed. They applied and obtained all permits from the local village and oversaw all inspections which did not require any rework at all. The also worked with the electric, phone and cable company on the movement of wires and cabling going to the house. The men on site were courteous and helpful. We were provided a weekly update on the status and any issues. I also insisted on certain materials to be used for the outside of the garage (cement board). They had not used that product before and actually sent several of their crew to a training class so that the could do the install of the materials without voiding the warranty. There was a weekly status provided and if there were any issues we were notified within 48 hours.

They didn't all speak English and there was a little problem dealing with them at times.

We are having problems w/ice dams in our gutter and leaking problems in a wall in our building and some board members thought it might be originating in the roof. We found Blue Sky on AL and had them come out for an estimate. They thoroughly reviewed our roof and determined that the leak was most likely not coming from there. They did see minor cracking in our roof and thus suggested the uv coating to a) bring it up to code and b) fill in the roof cracks. They also suggested installing the heat tape system for our gutters to prevent ice damming in winter. They could not determine the cause of our wall leaks w/out removing some of our siding so they did not provide an estimate for that work. We were very happy w/their punctuality and professionalism. Their quote was competitive. We're still considering how we want to solve the problem as a building so we may end up using them.
