A few minor problems but were fixed in no time. Am very happy with this company and would use them again.

All the work went very well. They dodged the weather the best they could. Blue Sky worked hard to explain details when asked, and they quickly addressed any issues as they arose. We would definitely use them again if the need arose on another place.

They were responsive to calls and emails, prompt for the appointment, thorough in the discussion of the jobs and speedy with the estimates. All great first steps to building a solid working relationship and a breath of fresh air to be honest.

Excellent. They cleaned the roof and they also patched some of the cracks in the roof as well. I was told by one other company that we needed a new roof and another company that we would need extensive work. Blue Sky came along and were quite honest, stating that we didn't need all that extra work and certainly didn't need a new roof. They even told us how we could take care of the roof work ourselves (but we didn't want to). We hired them and they did a fine job. From here on out - we will go to Blue Sky!

BlueSky was very responsive. During the extreme cold in Chicago, Blue Sky was the only roofer to follow through on his commitments. He came out when scheduled, took pics, explained to me what he assessed, recommended a roof replacement, and offered estimates for both the replacement as well as repairs (in case I chose not to fully replace the roof). He provided pictures I could use for an insurance claim and came out to patch the roof (i.e., temp repair) while i wait for Spring when my insurance adjustor can assess the situation. He offered to comp the temp repair if / when he does the full repair or replacement. I will be getting a second opinion (on principle). Assuming their estimate is competitive, I will be working with Blue Sky.

They did a great job. They were super fast and neat. They did the job in two days and the price was excellent. They were punctual and communicative. I had asked them about doing the deck and they were very honest and said that they couldn't do it at that time.

He came out. He gave me an estimate for my garage roof. He was very prompt, very professional about answering the phone. The next day as promised he came out, he provided the estimate and followed up with a quote and everything. But, with me listening to my dad, I chose someone else to do the work. If I had to do it again, I would hire Blue Sky. I really liked him. I liked his professionalism, he was prompt and he followed through with his promises. The times he called me when he was out at my home. He followed up with a detailed estimate via email as promised and just explained everything. I wish I would have gone with him instead of someone else.

The experience was very positive and they were able to match a lower price. There were some finer points as to their process relative to a more expensive process, but they were matching process and dollar to a lower vendor. I did not use that lower vendor because I had trouble with them getting back to me. They also had a high grade from Angie's List, but they just were not getting back to me so I went with Blue Sky.

The work was completed before I even got home and they look great. Very professional staff when I asked them a 100 questions. Would use them again for any home project need.

I obtained estimates from three different roofers. One of them offered the same price as Blue Sky. The other tried to get me to replace the entire roof so I dropped them. I went with Blue Sky because they called me back right away, quickly came out to assess the damage, they were friendly and down-to-earth, didn't try to do any hard-selling on me, emailed me a quote within a few days. I asked for the repair in the fall, which is the busiest time of year, and they said that it may be 12 days before the repair is done, but then they had a cancellation so they called me and we were able to arrange the repair in 3 days. They sent someone out, didn't take more than 6 hours. They did a good job. No more leak! I gave the price a "B" because I was surprised at how much it cost to fix a leak these days. However, I called so many different people, most of which didn't even bother to call me back. I suppose the price they gave me is the going rate for 2013 though. So it's okay.

Chris and his team were excellent! From the moment I contacted him for a quote to the last day of the job, he was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. I would recommend him and his company to anyone!

They started out pretty earnestly really wanting to meet our needs. I think it was a combination of the project that we had underway not quite being the type of thing that they would take on. And then he sent a couple of different guys out to give me an estimate and none of them got an estimate back. So, I think maybe just the guys we had coming out were not the right type of guy to do the work or biggest and go through him. They seem like really earnest guys who, if the project were within their skills, I really do think would have followed up and got it done in a timely manner.

Our roof was overdue for replacement and a couple of units were showing signs of water damage. We looked at several roofers and chose Blue Sky. They had excellent ratings in Angie's List and the BBB and their estimate was comparable to another roofer we were considering but offered more options at a reasonable cost. They also offered to caulk our skylight at no additional cost which was a nice touch (and in the end silver coated the frame). We found Chris, the manager, to be very forthcoming, honest and easily accessible. We always got quick responses to all of our questions and concerns via e-mail, text messaging and/or phone. It all went well with very few glitches. It took longer than expected because of weather conditions but Blue Sky's crew were always prompt and worked as long as city ordinances allowed to get the work done. There were a couple of issues, two skylight panels were broken during the work which were properly replaced and the other was the hatch door handle leaked with the last major rain. The hatch door issue is a manufacturing problem which Blue Sky is working with the manufacturer to resolve. Other than that, the roof looks greats. The end result shows that they take great pride in their work. I would highly recommend Blue Sky Roofers to anyone looking for this service. They do great work and offer excellent customer service.

Chris and his team were fantastic. The estimate was very competitive and I can only assume a high quality of technical expertise from them because more than a few contractors turned down the job due to the unique gutter style. The communication and responsiveness was top-notch and work was done in an excellent, methodical pace within the specified timeframe. Again, big big props to communication--my emails/questions were always answered in a timely and professional manner.

Chris was off to a good start by being very punctual and responsive. Came out, gave an estimate and provided information, as well as answered all our questions. Worked with us regarding a time-table. The crew worked for 2 1/2 days, worked hard and completed the job, including clean-up, in a very timely manner. New roof looks great. The all around professionalism of Blue Sky Roofing made this a painless experience! We have already recommended Blue Sky to one of our neighbors who observed our favorable experience.

Chris and his workers were terrific. The men worked so hard every day. Always on time and told me what was happening every step of the way. The previous roof was only 11 years old but I had problems with leaking from day one and had many "fixes" performed. The new roof is beautiful . I am beyond delighted with all the work.

I have used Blue Sky in the past. As in the past their price was competitive. The standout issue this time was i had a leaking roof that needed attention immediately. They were very busy I know but came through; apparently re-arranging and getting out very quickly for that. The rest of the job was completed in a professional manner with excellent quality. I would highly recommend them.

We were very happy with Blue Sky from start to the finish of our project. The bidding process was easy. They came to the appointment on time and submitted the bid in 1 day. Although they were not the cheapest, the deciding factor for us was when they immediately agreed for us to visit an existing site while the other candidates refused. Our project was a removal of a large deck, replacement of three skylights and a complete tear off of a flat roof that has never been done since our building was built in 1908. After we signed the contract, Chicago ran into a spell of rainy weather which delayed the start for several weeks. Blue Sky did call frequently to let us know about scheduling. Even during the project, the threat of storms was always there. They completed small sections at a time and carefully caulked between old and new sections to avoid leaks. They always cleaned-up after each day?s work and also cleaned after the work was done. The roof looks great; skylight and coving were meticulously installed and flashed. We really don?t have anything negative to say about this job. We had one heavy rain since the job was finished and there are no problems. Thank you Blue Sky for a job well done.

They tore off the old roof, inspected for damages to the base (I forget the construction term) and replaced three sections of rotted plywood, added insulation, replaced gutters and downspout, inspected the interior ceiling for weaknesses and "sistered" a beam, repaired rotted wood along the eaves, and installed a new vent for the boiler. We had to postpone the job several times because of rain, but Chris stayed in touch and kept me posted about when they could do the work. Three to five men worked over a period of three to five days (I can't remember exactly), some of the time in extreme heat. They were extraordinarily industrious, neat, and careful, including alerting us to covering neighbors' cars to avoid damage. They cleaned up the property daily. We initially thought that the price quoted might be high; but after we saw what the work entailed and the quality of the work done by the crew, we felt the price was fine. We were very happy with the work and will hire them again for other projects.

. Everything went as planned. No surprises. Took 3 days to do job. One for the roof, one for the capping of all wood and one for the gutters. Only problem was when taking down old gutters a electric line was cut. A electrician was called and line was repaired within 2 hours. Every day property was cleaned up very well.Very good company. NO Problems very professional.

Having no knowledge of what a flat roof entails Blue Sky Roofing, specifically Chris Lopuski, came out several times during the quoting process to explain everything and answer a multitude of questions. Price was very competitive for all associated materials and labor. Work was done during hottest and some of the stormiest part of the summer and had no issues with storms and rains while work was being done. Chris was responsive to my concerns even during late hours. Workers were friendly and courteous to myself, tenants, and neighbors.

EXTREMELY responsive -- every email was answered in hours, if not minutes. Did a good job, and left no trace of mess. yard was clean. Also built up a "platform" in my front yard to protect landscaping so that as they were discarding old roof, it did not crush the plants, which I greatly appreciated.

This was the second time I have hired Blue Sky to do a job for me. I dealt with Chris Lopuski for the installation of Hardie Board Siding on my garage. I was very pleased with another job well done. Chris and the crew were responsive, the workmanship was quality and the clean up was better than before it started. Good Work Again!

They were one of the first few company's to give us an estimate for a new roof. They gave us a decent estimate and suggested a tear off which I thought should be done also. I live in a condo and they wanted to go the cheapest route possible and Blue Sky even gave them a couple of other options and the condo unit decided not to go with them and I'm not sure why, they were reasonable priced I felt and wanted to do the right thing with the roof. But ultimately it wasn't my decision.
