Ashland Lock was great. They came out the same day I called them. I needed an old mortiss (sp?) lock repaired. After trying for quite some time to repair it, Steve decided he needed to take it to the shop to find a part that needed to be replaced. He came out two days later and fixed it (it wasn't the only lock on the door). He also rekeyed the other 3 locks so I would only need one key. He did a great job and was very professional! I will definitely use Ashland for any locksmith needs I have in the future and I have already recommended them to a friend!

The two re-keying tasks went smoothly and were completed in under an hour... however trying to open the door to the basement was a laborious task that took perseverance and patience... Steve was a positive reflection of his company... he was personable as well as professional... the door and lock he worked on was 80 years old... after implementing a variety of attempts to opent he door he was suyccessful... he took the lock out and left several hours later he returned to replace the newly fixed lock and give me newly made keys tot he door... The front basement door is now operable.

My outside fence had a lock that wasn't latching (security buzzer also attached here). Helpful dispatcher asked me questions to make sure the problem was not with fence malignment, in order to save me the cost of the service call if it was. We decided the problem was with the lock system and she gave me detailed information on costs for the service call and for various possible parts it might need. She had Rex come out later in the same day. He called just before the scheduled time to tell me he was running about ten minutes late, but actually showed up only 5 minutes later. He carefully went over every aspect of the lock to figure out why it wasn't working, and was able to fix it without having to put in a lot of new parts. He was friendly, helpful, made sure I knew exactly what he had done with the lock, and took time to oil and test the whole lock on one of the coldest days of the year. Their service was absolutely great -I will definitely use them again!

Very well. I needed the locks changed ASAP and they came the same day. The gentleman went to work and was finished in rapid time.

They came out to look at the project and give a free estimate on the same day as I called them. The dispatcher was very knowledgeable and able to discuss our options. The estimate was very detailed and promptly revised to reflect additions to the project we wished to add. The serviceman (Noel) made recommendations on how to fix some other issues we had about the doors not closing well or securely. They were available on the next day to do the work (although we scheduled it for a few days later). Noel completed the work in less than the estimated time and at the cost of the estimate.

The counter guys were efficient and friendly. The keys work fine.

My purse, containing my house keys and my driver's license with my home address, was snatched, so I called another Angie's List locksmith to replace all my home locks. Because it was a holiday week, the locksmith I initially called didn't have enough staff to help me and recommended Ashland. I spoke with Joe, who said he could send out Noel at 3:30 p.m.(about 4 hours after I called)and explained the cost: $75 for a house call and $25 per lock. He asked for the numbers on any house keys we had so they could have as much information in advance as possible. My husband contacted him with the numbers. Joe later called my husband back to explain that Noel had been delayed and might be an hour or more late. Noel got to our house after 5(the weather was very snowy and icy that day)checked all the locks, set up a workstation in the kitchen, changed the locks on all the doors, and gave me several sets of keys. He was done in less than an hour and was very nice, pleasant, informative, and professional.

Considering the lock now will engage, well. Unfortunately, the lock was not our problem so will have to enlist someone to repair the ironwork.

My house was broken into and I needed my locks changed ASAP. I called at 4 pm on a Friday and had a locksmith at my door by 5 pm. My service worker (Noel) was courteous and professional. All work completed in 15 minutes! Very fair price and great service.

Steve came right on time. He was very professional and pleasant to work with. We highly recommend this company. We will reuse them if there is a need next time.

They do a wonderful job, because there were no marks on the door and because they could rekey the new lock saved me from buying a new set of keys. They showed up the day I called them to say I had the new lock.

Called at 9:00 am and spoke with Joe to explain problems and set up appointment for the same day at 11:00 am. Joe even called to inform me that they were going to be 15 minutes late. Steven came out and re-keyed 6 locks and also fixed an older lock that was having problems with the pins. Explained everything to me well and gave me some tips on how to keep the locks working properly. Very pleasant experience.

It went very quickly and well! They came on time with two men and finished the job in half an hour.

They could not have been more helpful or more nice. The guy did a great job, and was great to work with. He gave me a lot of advice and really helped me out. He really did a good job.

The overall experience was great. I emailed several different locksmiths to get approximate pricing for getting my locks changed. Anne from Ashland Lock responded within an hour, I never heard back from the other 2 I emailed. She asked for clarification on whether I wanted my locks changed or just rekeyed, I didn't even know there was a difference. After getting clarification, we scheduled an appointment for the following week. The serviceman showed up on time, worked quickly, and was professional and personable. The price I paid was exactly what Anne had quoted me on the phone and in emails.

I called the company, spoke to Sean and told him what I needed to do and he gave me a quote over the phone. He arrived on time, and had to make some minor repairs to one of the doors before installing the new locks and guards. This caused the price to be a little more than quoted, but that was not his fault. He was professional, knew what he was doing and was knowledgeable regarding the security aspects of apartment living. I would definitely use them again and recommend the company.

I sent an e-mail after business hours and first thing the next morning, Mike called and scoped out my situation. Noel came and re-keyed four Schlage locks, and added reenforced safety strips to further protect my loft door from potential unwanted entry. He custom-fit a missing strikeplate and did all the fitting/filing work neatly, precisely, and quickly. I live in a 100+ year-old loft building, with commercial-grade doors and locks, but they were prepared and equipped to do the work, and did a great job. I would use them again.

We initially tried another lock service who was unable to fit us in. When we called Ashland Lock they were willing to come out that day. Art was very professional and efficient and we had new locks in no time. We will use this company in the future (hopefully not because we have lost our keys) and highly recommend them to others.

I spoke to Ashland Lock on a Tuesday (mid-morning) and the technician (Mike) arrived that afternoon, ahead of schedule! He was very fast and got the job done in less than 15 minutes from start to finish, including paperwork. I asked Mike a few other questions and he provided great insight.

It went real well, they scheduled a day or two in advanced and the guy came out in the evening and the job took less than an hour, efficient, and friendly and got the job done.

I have been using them for four or five years. They come on time, they are very professional and get the job done. I always have very good experiences with them.
