Description of Work: Erin met my husband and I at Public Storage with the goal of combining our two large storage units into one. Erin was on time, and got straight to work. My husband and I took direction from Erin, while he did a lot of the lifting and moving while Erin and I also pitched in. We accomplished our goal in about 3 hours, which was under the 4 hours allotted as well as Erin helped label, identify how to stack things and organize the items to be able to fit everything into the one unit. We are very pleased with the outcome and now save money every month by not paying for a second storage unit.

Erin was very punctual and efficient, but I felt like she was too aggressive and lacked sensitivity in the way that she compelled us to get rid of things. There were times when I felt like she was mocking us. Someone who is helping people declutter should have better people skills and work with a firm but kind hand.

I had hired Erin for three hours, but we soon realized that 15 years in a home office would take longer than three hours to organize. Luckily for me, Erin was able to come the next day for three more hours. We got through all of my files, junk etc. My home office is a new place! Erin took away much of the recycling and old electronics which had been shoved in a closet. I keep staring and smiling at my organized book cases and empty closet. Such a relief to have this done. I bought two Angie's deals for Erin's services. It was the BEST $211.00 I have spent in a long time!

Erin was punctual and ready to work when she arrived. I needed a "jump start" for organizing my office as well as some other organizationally challenged areas of my home. Erin and I spent an hour cleaning out a giant box of papers that was too overwhelming for me to do alone. She taught me that I should file as I go through each item rather than creating piles and filing later. Very helpful. She also helped me to customize a filing system for my business. She knew what needed to be saved for tax purposes and what could be chucked which was a learning experience. I was saving too much stuff. Who knew? After dealing with the dreaded giant box of papers, we walked around my house and discussed strategies for organizing spots that weren't typical. For example, my bathroom doesn't have a medicine cabinet - just a vanity with cabinets underneath and deep drawers. I was baffled by what to do and Erin had the perfect solution about using totes for hair, make up, toiletries etc. I was enlightened. We looked at all of my closets and cabinets and she had similar creative, efficient solutions. I was delighted. We spent the last portion of her visit discussing places to shop for the best organizing products. Once again, I was enlightened. Erin really knows her stuff. I would say that I was not her typical organizing client because I tried my hand at being a professional organizer so I know what to do in most cases. I struggle with paper management and nontraditional spaces like my bathroom that doesn't have a medicine cabinet. I also get overwhelmed and need someone to help me get started. She did just that. Also, I could have chatted with Erin for days about all kinds of topics. She is extremely, warm, friendly and outgoing. She has a bit of an accent and I learned she is from Texas. She really listened to what I wanted and needed and helped me come up with solutions. I would recommend Erin to anyone interested in getting organized with a pro.
Description of Work: Erin is a professional organizer and as such helped me with some of my organizational challenges. Paper management is a huge problem for me. She worked with me to go through a giant box of papers and to develop strategies and solutions for dealing with rather than getting overwhelmed by all the papers that I have to deal with. She provided good ideas for organizing other areas of my house that needed help - she put on her consultant hat rather than a roll your sleeves up and dive into the mess hat as we looked at the various storage areas in my home.

Not very well. I wanted to hire her but we could not make a deal.
Description of Work: I told Erin I wanted to purchase her services for $99 for 3 hours of organization on Jan. 31, 2013. We discussed this amount but could not get a time and date solidified because we were both busy. We finally talked on 2/12/13 and she said she could not give me the deal because I did not purchase it and it had expired. She did not tell me that over the phone or via email that I had to purchase it before we could discuss my project. From my standpoint we made a deal for $99 for 3 hours. She said she could no longer honor the deal. I then found out that her normal service charge is $50 an hour for 3 hours of work. On the Goupon website is states her normal charge for 3 hrs. of work is $225. Someone is being unethical and I am not sure who.

I was emailed 5 times by the above potential client and received several phones calls as well. Each time I repsonded the same day. Everytime I spoke with him, I advised him of my open time slots. I advised the customer over the phone on several occassions that he would need to purchase the deal online to schedule an appointment. When he emailed the last time, I called him back. I advised that he still had not purchased deal. He asked me to do the deal directly with him. I stated that I could not offer deal and thought it was unethical to offer outside of Angies List. I feel that I upheld the ethical standards and was totally professional.

Erin arrived on time and ready to work. She was pleasant and helpful in decluttering/organizing my kitchen/family room in preparation for selling my house. We moved into the office and purged quite a bit of paper and made room for additional items. Sent 65lbs to secure ecoshredding, 5 large garbage bags of trash and 3 bags of items to donate. Felt much lighter and the house looks great. Would recommend Erin to others that need to get some clutter under control

Erin was awesome! Easy to get in touch with and was able to schedule the work when it was best for me. She arrived a few minutes early, label machine in tow and ready to get to work. First we tackled my attic, which is set up mostly as a home office, but had also become the dreaded, I don't know what to do with this so I'll just throw it upstairs area. We went through at least a year's worth of school projects done by my two daughters, piles of home improvement/decorating ideas, a desk with years of paper work, clothes that needed to be donated/consigned, and children's books that needed to be put away/donated. She was very helpful in telling me what kind of paperwork I needed to keep, and used the handy dandy label machine to make much better organized file folders. After that, with only a potty brake by Erin, we went downstairs to tackle what we could of the basement. That involved putting away/organizing holiday decorations and organizing one unfinished area of the basement that had a lot of toys/clothes that my two girls had grown out of and also things that had just been thrown in there for temporary storage. I would have loved to tackle more, and Erin seemed to have the energy for it, but the six hour time for the Angie's List Big Deal was up. I'll be honest, I could have probably done a lot of this work myself, but the piles just seemed so overwhelming that it was nice to have someone be present with me to make the undertaking less overwhelming. She was physically helpful in that she didn't just sit there and watch me do things, but would help out. She was also mentally helpful such as when I was going through bins of baby clothes. Granted, my children are only 7 and 9 now, but it can be very emotional to get out those newborn baby clothes and Erin understood that and didn't try to rush me or anything. She was also very knowledgeable about what things sell well on Craigslist, a consignment store, at a garage sale, or can be donated, and she had ideas of where to donate things. While part of me hopes that I can now stay on top of my organized areas, I would not hesitate to call Erin again when I fall off that wagon!

Erin was great! She brought her label machine along and helped me get my junk drawer and a few years worth of paper work organized. After that we tackled a closet full of craft supplies. She also gave me pointers on a few areas that I wanted to organize but she didn't think we would be able to get done within the time limits of the Angie's list deal. Sure, I could have probably done a lot of the work without Erin, but I had been putting the project off for months and there is something about someone else telling you that something belongs in the trash that makes it easier to do it! I will definitely call Erin again when I want to tackle some of the other organizing projects on my list.

One do is-listen to Erin. I recently cleaned out my parents house and wish I had utilized Erin over the years. I cannot even estimate the number of truck loads transported to dump. I intend to use Erin periodically to finish my basement and other rooms. I highly recommend Erin!

I bought 6 hours of time from Arranged by Erin. Erin came at 9:00 a.m. and left at 12:20 p.m. (a total of 3 hours and 20 minutes). Erin is personable and friendly and worked exactly as I needed for 3 hours and 20 minutes. I have absolutely no complaints about the work performed. I had just come out of hospital and was extremely tired and so was unable to move on to the office organizing that I had hoped to accomplish. I was not offered either a refund for time not worked, nor was I offered another date to complete the hours I had paid for.
Description of Work: Erin worked at clearing my closets and bagging or discarding unwanted items. I had paid for 6 hours worth of time i.e., 3 hours for $99.00 X 2 = $198.00 . Erin worked for 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Yes the Member bought 6 hours of my time from an Angies List deal. After 3 hours and 20 minutes she chose to end the session. I clearly explained to her that she had more time scheduled for that day and I didn't want her to lose it (The deal has a 48 hour schedule change policy). I asked her if there were other projects she wanted me to work on. She said no. I offered to take the donations and consignment items for her. She declined in having me take donations but I dropped off the consignments.

The organizer was prompt, efficient, and professional. She offered to drop off donations and recyclables and made the process of getting rid of stuff guilt-free. Description of Work: I moved to Chicago and found Erin's ad when looking for a home organizer. She was offering a special for 3 hrs of assistance for $100 and I snatched it up. Boy, was it worth it! Emptying box after box, Erin was a very pleasant and efficient assistant in my efforts to get settled into my new home. She re-arranged my dry goods and then proceeded to stack all of my many dishes in very convenient order. She next went into my bedroom and unpacked all of my clothing (I had just moved in) and filled a very large closet space in perfect order! Overall, it went well. Erin arrived on time. We toured the house room by room and she made an assessment of each. Then I got to decide what we would work on. When we finished one room, we went to the next. She had lots of great suggestions. Erin was wonderful. These two closets have not be purged in 6 years and were over crowded. Erin worked quickly and efficiently. She was able to not only help purge and categorize the clothes but recommended new hangers, shoe racks, and other closet accessories to help make the closet more functional. Each closet took her about 4 hours. She then loaded up all the donations in her car. I was extremely pleased with her services.
