Description of Work: Removed two (2) Ash Trees from front yard that where diseased due to the Emeral Ash Borer. AAA Tree Removal did a fabulous job. Not only removing the trees, but grinding the stumps and taking the excess with them. They cleaned the yard, branches from the bushes in the front yard - remarkable. They did not do any damage what so ever to the lawn when they had to pull their equipment in and out. We and the neighbors never saw a crew constantly working and actually running from one process to the next. Our next door neighbor called them a few days later to have two Ash Trees removed from their property because of the great job that they did. Cannot say one negative thing.

 + -1 moreResponded quickly to request for an estimate by arranging a time the afternoon I called. Showed up the following day to complete the job. Found additional damage to the tree that was not detected from the original inspection (it wasn't detected by another company either) so the work came in higher than the estimate. Removed the branches and returned later in the afternoon to clear the debris from the alley.
Description of Work: Trimmed storm damaged branches on large Linden tree in downtown Chicago. Removed tree debris from property.

 + -1 moreI will say that AAA did excellent. I had a very good sense of feeling about the guy. There was a miscommunication though. He was supposed to do more work than he had given a quote for. However, he did stick with his quote and he still did what he was supposed to do. The estimate he quoted was for $300, but I gave him extra just because he stuck by his quote. I ended up paying him $500. He did not even ask for anymore. I gave it to him anyways. He was very good to work with and I think he did a very good job. He was very professional.
Description of Work: I had a large branch removed from a tree in my yard by AAA Tree Service.

 + -1 moreAAA Tree Service responded quickly to my call and scheduled the service to be performed within a week. They arrived on time with an efficient, friendly and capable crew. They discussed each tree with me, recommending what should be done to each - how much and which branches to trim, how to improve the health of the tree, etc. Larry knows his trees! It was a big job and took the better part of the day, but the crew worked continuously moving from tree to tree. We chose not to have them carry the debris away so they cleaned the area under each tree and piled the cuttings neatly at the curb, as we requested. The trees and the yard look great!
Description of Work: Trimmed & shaped 12 mature trees, evergreens, maples, locus, etc. Treated insect damage on one tree. Cleaned entire 1.25 acre area of debris.

 + -1 moreThis guy loves his work! Larry and his helper spent about three hours doing the trimming, managing to cut off years worth of overgrowth while keeping a natural, wild look. Larry was very particular about details, and obviously feels that what he does is an art as well as a skill, and my yard proves it. They were very respectful of my property,cleaning up after themselves, and of my neighbors as well - most of the work was right on the fence line. I plan to call him again whenever I need this work done. And what can I say? He danced while he cleaned up the alley...
Description of Work: 5 overgrown honeysuckle bushes were trimmed and thinned, an old pear tree was shaped and thinned, larch tree was thinned out and relieved of several miles of grapevine that had claimed it over the years, a stump was leveled, and about three volunteer saplings were removed.

 + -1 moreTHE OWNER, LARRY, REMOVED THE 5 STORY TREE FROM A VERY TIGHT AREA WITH AN EXPERIENCED CREW OF TWO. THEY BROUGHT DOWN THE BRANCHES ONE AT A TIME WITH ROPES AND ALL WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE TO MY OR THE ADJACENT BUILDING. THEY WERE PROMPT, RESPONSIVE AND LEFT THE AREA CLEAN. LARRY KNOWS HIS TREES AND I'M HAVING HIM COME BACK TO REPLACE THE TREE WITH ONE MORE SUITED TO THE SPACE. HIS QUOTE WAS HALF ANYONE ELSE'S.
Description of Work: REMOVAL OF VERY LARGE TREE AND STUMP AND TRIMMED TWO SMALLER TREES. REMOVED THE DEBRIS AND CLEANED THE AREA.
