AA Best Appliance Service

AA Best came after I had a repair man come out who was recommended from my fridge manufacturer. AA Best was much more professional, honest, and affordable. He provided an overview of what needed to be done and was honest that it might be better to buy a new fridge based on what was wrong versus the other company who I felt knew nothing about repairs and was only trying to make mone off of us. I will use AA Best for all my appliance needs moving forward!

They came out the first time and tried to fix it. The oven kept having problems so they had to come back out. He said the part he installed the first time was defective and he had to get another part from the manufacturer. He didn't ask us to pay for the part but he told us that it was coming out of his pocket which didn't sound right because earlier he told us they had said the part was guaranteed. This just didn't feel right to me.

They guy was good. He had the parts and knew what he was doing. Reasonable price.

I called at 4pm, he returned my call promptly and arrived the next morning on time. He was very knowledgeable about the problem, and fixed it in 45 minutes. It was a very good experience, and I'm glad that I do not have to replace my dryer at this time. I will hire him again.

Ivan came out the day after I called him, well within the 2 hour time frame he had given me. He replaced a broken part on my dishwasher and now it is working like new. The entire visit took less than 30 minutes. The charges included the service visit, new part and labor. Ivan was very pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Returned my call within 1 hour and made a same day appointment. He arrived exactly at the beginning of the 2 hour appointment window and diagnosed and fixed the problem in 35 minutes. While Ivan was at my house I asked whether he could replace the hoses on my washing machine. This is preventative only since they are 7 years old. He said he would be happy to do it at another time (didn't have parts with him) but he explained to me that I could also easily do it myself, and told me how to do it.

We were impressed that they were able to come out the same day and within a couple of hours of our call. They were courteous, professional and seemed to know what they were doing.

I came home on a Monday night to find that my Maytag Refrigerator was making a strange noise and was quickly losing cool air. I called AA Best early Tuesday morning and Ivan said he could fit me in between 12-2pm. Sure enough he came on time and got to work while he was working he explained all the problems it could be. Worst case scenario, the compressor in which case I might as well buy a new refrigerator. Best case a capacitor relay. He vacuumed out the back, put some cool rags on the motor and then changed out the capacitor relay. It started right back up. Said everything should be fine from here on out. The Maytag has been going strong since.

I orginally called AA Appliance for a quote for the installation of a garbage disposal. Ivan was extremely prompt in returning my call and was able to schedule the work within 2 days. I did not choose them for the job because they were approximately 30% higher than a quote from another appliance repair company. However after problems with that other company and the garbage disposal installation I decided to try AA for our dishwasher problem. Ivan was prompt and very professional and quick in finding and solving the problem (which ended up being related to the other company improperly installing the garbage disposal). Although they are a little bit more expensive, they are worth it and will likely be my first and only call for any future appliance repairs.

Ivan was on time. He was unable to complete the repair for the dishwasher on first visit. Older model so did not have parts on hand. Returned later that afternoon and completed the repair. If was late on a Friday afternoon, very few tradesmen would show such pride and professionalism in their work. Cleaned up after himself and was very polite and courteous.

The job took him about fifteen minutes and my washing machine is working fine now. I really appreciated the fact that he was willing to accommodate to my work schedule. He came to my house in the early evening, which was a big help to me.

Very good service and I will call them back for more service.

This morning, I called this service provider based on their high Angie's rating. Their scheduler was able to make a same-day appointment, between 3-5 p.m., and the technician arrived a little after 4 p.m. He was polite, well-spoken, appeared knowledgeable, and resolved my problem within approx 30 minutes. At my request, he also took a minute to adjust the outside vent pipe for the noisy fan in our range hood, rendering the blower much quieter. Very satisfied.

Smooth, fast, with courtesy. The price seemed reasonable, both for labor and parts.

The representative who repaired our washer was very professional and friendly. He went above and beyond the call of duty and actually performed a bit of maintenance on our dryer as well.

They were very timely, efficient and the price was reasonable. They were courteous and informative. He didn't try to sell me a bunch of spare parts that I did not need, instead adjusted existing parts.

Excellent. I saw their ad in the Angie's List September issue in Chicago, just at the time our upstairs student tenants had reported the problem. They were out within a couple of hours; Manny found that it was just a screw and some non food items that had been dropped into the disposal, and that caused the dishwasher backup. He made a point of telling each of the four college students what they can and can't put in the disposal (nice touch). The charge was very reasonable and he didn't try to push for new appliances. He also went to check the water heater in the basement to make sure we had the right temperature (another nice touch). I would highly recommend AA Best Appliance Service.

It went very well. Ivan returned my call quickly and said he could come out in 48 hours or so. The dishes were piling up so I'd hoped it would be quicker but I was willing to wait a bit since he had such great reports. He came when he said he would and worked quickly and efficiently. He was very friendly and personable and sweet with our Lil daughter. An excellent experience! And now we have clean dishes! Huzzah!

I called Ivan at 4pm and he came out to the house and replaced the part by 6:30pm!! He was very fast and did a great job.

Arrived on time. Fixed problem which was a worn out belt. Replaced new.

Well, he immediately showed me what was wrong. Had the parts with him and repaired immediately. Friendly and good service.
