AA Best Appliance Service

Ivan was great. Very responsive, next day service. Was w/in 20 minutes of estimated delivery time. I had started to take the machine apart to see if I could fix it. I decided to call Ivan instead, but he showed me what he had done in case I wanted to fix it myself next time! He had said it would be about $200, but it wound up being only $157.

It was great! I called the day before my son was due home for spring break. He came out that afternoon, took 15 minutes to diagnose the problem, had the parts with him and it was up and working within the hour. The parts were fairly expensive, but I was prepared as I had read that the parts themselves were pricey.

The repairman was excellent. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it efficiently, but was also very friendly and courteous and had a great sense of humor. He was also able to schedule me in the very next morning after I called. I would definitely hire again.

Went well; Ivan came on time, was able to quickly assess what needed to be done and make the necessary fixes. He even dropped off an oven temperature button a few days later to replace the old one, which was no longer available.

Great job. I will always call AA Best. I've never worked with a company that is so honest.

I called for service on a Monday. He said he could come by on Wednesday in a two hour time frame in the middle of the day. I told him I worked M-F but could be home by 3:30 some day. He got kind of mad about that and insisted that the two-hour midday window was when someone would be in my neighborhood, so that's the time it would be. So I said to him, "so you can't work with me, then?" and after a pause and a bit of exasperation on his end we agreed to Friday at 3:30. He was still rather unpleasant about being inconvenienced like this, so I called the Appliance King who could come out Wednesday at 3:30, with a smile. I immediately canceled my Friday 3:30 appointment with AA Best.

They were prompt, helpful and professional.

They were very good, nice, and clean. He even cleaned his shoes off before he came into my home.

He called me back in less than five minutes. Instead of automatically scheduling a service call, as most companies would have done, he asked me if I'd had my floors done this week. I said no, but I had had painting done. He immediately surmised that the smell was caused by paint fumes that had worked their way into the dryer's system (two floors away from the painting) and told me to give them time to dissipate. He warned me the fumes would go straight into my clothes and to avoid using the dryer until they were gone. Ivan put my mind at ease, and he did it without charging me a dime. On the other times I have hired him (to repair the oven and to fix a knob that came off on the dryer), he has immediately diagnosed the problem and come up with the least expensive way to fix it. Ivan is a lifesaver.

Very good experience. Ivan came out as soon as my husband's schedule permitted. He listened to the account of what had happened, diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and told us how to prevent the problem in the future. We were thinking we might have to replace the dishwasher because of its age. It was a relief to have such a simple solution--and to find a reliable appliance repair service, which we will undoubtedly use again for our aging appliances.

He was really great & I would use him again. He was knowledgeable on vintage or older model stoves.

I called in the morning and they came out later that day. Very nice and easy to work with. He explained what was wrong and how to avoid having issues in the future. Will definitely use them again!

Great service. This is the second time I have called them to perform work on appliances. They are responsive, prompt and efficient.

He fixed the problem. He was courteous, on time and the dryer was fixed.

He was fabulous. He responded immediately and he was out here immediately. He was extremely courteous. He showed me the issue so I knew what he was doing. He was informative and the price was great!

I contacted Ivan Monday morning, we set up an appointment for Tuesday afternoon between 2 and 4. He contacted me prior to arriving here. He was on time. He also advised me that the transmissions on these particular machines are not built as sturdily as they should be and told me it would last longer if I made sure the machine was never overloaded. This was valuable information.

The 1st company that I called had long hold times on the phone, no call-backs, never showed up (twice). Ivan was the exact opposite. He quickly called us back the day we called him & scheduled an appointment. He provided a 2-hr window (as to the 1st co: 5 times), & was on time (this was on a Sat. morning). He carefully took our washer/dryer apart quickly & accurately diagnosed several problems. Even though he would have been able to fix it, Ivan informed us that the condition of the washing machine didn't warrant the expense & we would be better off with a new one. We trust his judgment, considering that he doesn't work for a large retailer or have a affiliate relationship with one. Since he was still here & had a little extra time, we asked Ivan to look at our dishwasher, which featured a creaking door that was about ready to fall off as a result of a bad install job. He fixed the hinges on the door, & re-installed the dishwasher properly. Ivan was a pleasure to work with!

Excellent. Not only was he very nice, he was honest and helpful. I will be recommending this company for sure.

I called on Dec. 27 and got a call back within an hour. This was late morning, and AA offered to come to our house at 2 or 3 that afternoon. We chose 3, and a tech named Manny showed up on time. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (apparently common on this model). He also checked some other issues with our water line and, after leaving, returned to double-check something he thought he'd forgotten. The tech, Manny, was polite, professional and effective - we have ice! We'd use AA Best again in a heartbeat. My only complaint: they don't take credit cards. I understand why a small business wouldn't (the fees charged by cc companies) but it's an inconvenience for those of us who can't be home all the time.

It went well. I'd use them again. Called for washer leakage, and he found the problem quickly. Then I asked if he could take a look at the stove which had only two burners working. He fixed those. All this took less than an hour, and earlier than had been scheduled.

Super nice, super quick, super honest, super good. Called in late a.m. and had someone here early afternoon. Spent a bunch of time, left with it running but felt that it would need a motor and bearings. Limited life left. Based on his estimate I felt it best to buy a new one instead of repairing. These guys are great, honest and perfect. They're rating is well earned. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

I found AA Best on the list and called this AM. Ivan had an opening this afternoon and gave me a 2 hour window when I could expect him. He came on the early side of the window and finished the repair promptly and professionally. He was very careful about cleaning snowy footprints. Given the very fast response time and the small amount of time I had to be involved to get my problem solved I felt the price was reasonable. I am totally satisfied and will call Ivan again for any appliance repair. A nice man who does his work professionally.

We looked over Angie's List and found many good reviews regarding AA Best Appliance. I spoke to the technician (Many) who asked me some questions regarding the problem. He said he would come by that afternoon. He called 1/2 hour before arrival at the prearranged time. He also had picked up some spare parts before coming over. He fixed the problem within 15 minutes by replacing the heating element. He tested the unit and helped put the kitchen back. (We had moved a table out of the way before he came.) That was great. They were scheduled to come out today for a dryer repair job. My doorbell didn't work when they came out and I didn't hear anyone knocking at the door. I called them later to have them come back out to do the work but the serviceman I spoke with over the phone seemed a little upset and told me just to get someone else to the do the work.
