AA Best Appliance Service

The company representative (Ivan) came as scheduled and was very helpful and courteous. The new glass was ordered and installed within a couple of days as promised.

Prompt; explained what needed to be done to repair ice maker and water dispenser and gave the refrigerator a general check-up and cleaning.

This was my first experience with them and thought they were great. They were responsive and showed up on time. They gave me some suggestions to keep it from happening again.

Ivan was here right on time. He diagnosed the problem right away (leaking pump). He went to get the part then returned to install it. Everything went smoothly.

Working with AA was wonderful, called and they came out the very next day. Job took a total of 20 minutes! They were on time and I had absolutely no complaints.

My dryer broke down. I expected the worse from an 8 year old appliance. Ivan diagnosed the problem very quickly, repaired the broken knob and was nice enough to leave me a substitute in case it would happen again. He also showed me how to avoid the problem. He is not only a competent and honest repairmen, but also a very nice guy. It makes a difference when someone not only fix things for you, but does it with a smile and good humor. On the way out he tightened a lose screw in my door holder!

They were extremely punctual, and made time for me on a day they were already booked. The technician had to go through a couple rounds of troubleshooting to diagnose the problems with my fridge (the computer board and fan motor were both shot), but eventually he found the problem after two separate visits. I don't know how he priced his parts, they were more expensive than other vendors I found, but his workmanship and knowledge of the appliance were great.

AA Best Appliance repair does not replace dryer vents, but they recommended someone for us who was fantastic. The woman I spoke with actually had to look up the number, and called me back promptly with the contact information. Very nice considering they were not going to do any work for us.

The duct was completely clogged, so he put a new one on. He showed my how to clean this once a year to prevent this from happening again. He also gave me other helpful tips. He did the work quickly and did not try to sell me anything else.

I thought honest service repair was impossible to find. Not only did they fix my fridge, but the service man also showed me ways to save money. I recommend these guys to anyone!!

I found them on Angie's List. I called him and he got back to me. I told him what was wrong. He came and he moved the refrigerator and saw that there was in fact a leak and he fixed it. He did a good job.

We got AA Best from Angie's List some time ago. We have used them for washer, dryer, and refrigerator repair. They have never had to return for the same appliance, their response time and attitude is great, and we can't recommend them highly enough.

Excellent. He called, set up an apointment, showed up on time, let my wife clean behind the refrigerator, new motor is in and icemaker is working perfectly.

Great. Ivan came and opened it up, cleaned the lint of 4 years found the problem, ordered the parts and returned and fixed it. He stayed and made sure it worked well and put out a small fire before he left.

After our under counter wine refrigerator stopped working this past winter, I tried to find a technician that would fix a small appliance - this proved difficult as those that I contacted would not take the job (too small). A few weeks ago I was referred to Ivan at AA Best Appliance Repair by a friend, and I could not be happier. I was able to schedule the initial appointment for just a few days after I called - on the actual date of the appointment Ivan arrived within the 2 hour window as promised. He quickly diagnosed my problem which was a faulty temperature control switch - the only problem was that the part was only available from a company based in PA; therefore he could not fix it on the spot. Ivan provided me with the information need to order the part (serial #, part #, etc) and suggested that I call the distributor directly. I did and 3 days later the part which was sent UPS directly to me my house ($39.00 including shipping charges). I then called Ivan back and was able to set up a second appointment to replace the part. Just like the first appointment Ivan arrived on time, took his time to replace the part correctly and we once again have a working wine fridge.

Ivan was personable and friendly, he arrived for the appointment and I attempted to describe the problem (I hadn't experienced it personally), he took a look and recommended replacing the belt and cleaning the dryer. He noticed that our back door knob was loose and tightened it up for us. He gave me advice on an HVAC issue. I later discovered that the dryer was still not working correctly, but he returned promptly corrected the issue with the heat selector knob, repaired the hole in the venting, at no additional charge. I don't hold Ivan responsible for not diagnosing the problem correctly the first visit, as I suspect that I didn't describe the issues correctly. I really appreciated him coming back out and resolving it at no charge.

He was friendly. He was professional about the job. He always the parts he needs with him so he don't have to go anywhere to get parts for the projects.

I am extremely happy with the service we received, especially because of Ivan's professionalism and honesty. He encouraged me to watch him as he took apart my washer to inspect various elements of it, that way I could learn exactly what he's doing and what he's looking at. Not to mention, it'll help if I ever encounter the issue again. He also took a look at my dryer to make sure it was working correctly since we just moved into our condo. After doing that he noticed that our dishwasher wasn't aligned properly with our cabinets and took the additional time to fix it. Ivan was extremely professional and polite throughout the process, moreover, he was an enjoyable person to be around and wants his customer's to understand exactly what he's doing while he's evaluating your issue.

Ivan arrived on time, was courteous and neat. The refrigerator coils had not been cleaned for three years, so quite a bit of dust was released into the kitchen. Another repair person might have left the kitchen covered in dust, but Ivan took the trouble to clean up before he left--something I very much appreciated.

My washer wasn't draining at all and my dryer was squeaking a lot, so I called Ivan. He came out, took a look, figured out (quickly) the solution to both and now both work like a charm. He actually had to get a part for the washer, so he came back the next day as soon as he got the part.

Ivan identified the problem quickly and made all necessary repairs on the same day. I would use Ivan again in a heartbeat and recommend him to everyone.

They came out the same day they received my message - on a Saturday -and evaluated the problem, advised me of other issues, and cleaned out the vent. This company is very responsive and reliable.

Serviceman showed up within the alotted two hour time frame. Was able to complete repairs with a minimum amount of hassle and time. Pleasant to deal with. Price was reasonable.
