Ivan identified the problem and was able to fix it! He explained the issue and solution to me as well as offering tips on cleaning and adjust the ice-cube maker in the future. he was punctual, professional and very curteous. More importantly he was able to fix the problem. I highly reccomend AA Best to anyone.

It was amazing as usual! I have used Ivan for three years between my house and my rental unit. He always goes above and beyond to repair the item without me having to replace it. Since the dryer was "repaired," it seems to be drying clothing at hotter temperatures than set. For example, I can no longer dry certain clothing (specifically to be dried on low) on low without significant shrinkage. A few items of clothing have been ruined as a result. Our vents have been cleaned as well in the past. I can't help but determine this isn't a coincidence. I called AA Best to discuss this issue and have them return to take another look at the dryer to ensure they didn't misdiagnose the initial issue, or miss a second issue, or determine there was a new issue that needed to be repaired since the first repair. The gentleman on the other line was immediately very defensive and very rude. The only reason I can explain his rudeness is that he assumed I was asking for them to return for free. In fact, we never discussed cost at any time, and frankly, that was not the issue in my mind - I was just providing some back story on why I was calling. All I wanted was the dryer taken a look at and fixed, whether there be cost or no cost. Rather, the gentleman attempted to tell me that the initial reason I had AA Best repair our dryer was that we had no heat, and because of that they cannot test whether it is a thermostat issue initially (event though I would think they would check it after). In other words, he was attempting to explain that my reason for calling did not relate to the initial repair of our dryer. When I had them out the first time, as in any repair, I would expect diagnostic work up to determine the problem of a broken dryer on their initial visit. And, being that I had a conversation with the repair man concerning all possibilities of the broken dryer at the initial repair (thermostat v. dryer vent v. sensor, etc), I would expect AA Best to be professional when I called the second time to discuss a heating issue and not try and blame it on a new issue (whether or not to justify an additional service fee). They failed miserably and I will not be using their services in the future. In reading some of the other negative reviews, it seems that I am not alone on this type of issue when it comes to follow up requests from a service. As such, I would just advise anyone who plans to use them to take the "guarantee" lightly as even if a question is raised, they immediately get defensive and look for reasons as opposed to working with the customer to find a solution professionally (even one that wasn't looking for a anything for free). It's a shame because they seemed like an honorable company.

we had appointment scheduled for 3-5pm time window. When scheduling I told the scheduler I suspected the problem to be the belt since the dryer got hot but didn't turn. The repair person phoned at 1130 to see if I could meet sooner, which I could, so we arranged for 1pm start. He came in, looked a few minutes at the dryer, determined the belt was busted and replaced it. he then showed my the frayed belt and explained it was likely due to heavy and overlarge items going in there. The dryer is used by 2 tenants in my 2-flat, so who knows what goes on! the one thing I thought of later was that that the belt is super skinny (both old and new one). Why? wouldn't it be better if the belt was sturdier?

I've used AA Best Appliances for years and have grown to trust Ivan and appreciate his honesty, hardwork and quick service. My kenmore dryer stopped drying, he came out the next day and fixed it. He also spent time outside in freezing temperatures to adjust the vent so it would close properly-- something that was not apart of the job he was hired to do. Ivan is great.

They did a great job. I contacted their office and scheduled an appointment. Ivan showed up on time and quickly diagnosed, then repaired the dryer. No complaints other than the cost for the service, which wasn't terrible, but wasn't cheap. I'll definitely use AA again.

Upon calling them, they responded promptly, showing up the following day. After hearing the sound, they determined that something was caught in the motor. They were able to solve the problem quickly, finding a shard of broken glass that was being tossed about inside the motor.

Ivan came on time, was very personable and efficient. My dryer had to be pulled out because the washing machine is wedged between the dryer and the utility sink. Even then, it was very difficult to get the washer out so the front could be removed. I had him install a commercial coupling for $20 extra because it is made of metal rather than plastic. Ivan was very careful to not squeeze any hoses or cords when getting the washer squeezed back into its place. This is the third time I've hired Ivan. Years ago, he installed a new knob on a different machine, which is still going strong and he replaced a belt on a dryer. I would highly recommend him.

Prompt and did a neat, clean job. Would have been done sooner, but he was helping me look for a dead animal odor in the back sun room where the freezer is located. We smelled it, but couldn't find it, but appreciated his help in looking. I thought the travel charge a little high, but the overall bill was reasonable.

Called on a Thursday and was able to snag an opening on Friday morning with a 9-11 time window. Ivan arrived at 9:45 with a trainee and got to work. The first issue was the shocks were disconnected which explained the knocking on spin which has been going on for about a year! I thought it was just a unbalanced load...my bad! He thought possibly it may have disrupted the computer settings with all the movement. It turned out not to be the case. Further diagnostics showed a bad pump and luckily for me he was equipped with three different replacement pumps, one of which did the job. $69 for the service call & diagnostics, $240 for the part & installation and he didn't charge me for labor on reconnecting the shocks which did take some time. Where $309 may seem high to some, looking at $1000+ for a new machine, it seemed like a bargain. The best part was I was back to laundry tasks in a short period of time.

I called AA on Friday afternoon, because my dryer was setting off our smoke detector and smelled like burning rubber. They were able to come out the same day, a real blessing because it was the beginning of Labor day weekend and I needed to be able to do wash. They gave me a two hour window and also said that they would call if they could come by sooner. They checked the outside lint vent after I explained about the burning smell. They cleaned it out and also then took apart the dryer and unclogged the big wad of lint that was in an area that can't be reached without taking it apart. Ivan explained what he did, showed me where the burn marks were and that he thought it could've been a strong wind that blew in through the went that might have created the burning. He and his assistant did an excellent job, they were super nice and professional and I will definitely call them again for any appliance repairs.

I thought they were qualified and they were able to troubleshoot and repair it quickly. The price was a little high, but other than that I was really happy. I would recommend them.

4 years ago I bought a new expensive Amana refrigerator that turned out to be a lemon plus the company was bought out & no new parts were available. Unfortunately, I did not know this until after the warranty expired! I found this out from Ivan when the thermostat quit working. He replaced it with another brand of thermostat but it did not work! Ivan came to my home 5 times (some day?s twice in one) to replacing with different thermostat?s and adjusting, until he found one that worked!!! And I was only charged for the 1st visit! I was ready to give up and spend more money (that I did not have) an buy a new fridge but Ivan assured me that he would keep trying! He did and he succeeded! This is an amazing man that truly stands by his work and his word! Thanks you Ivan and AA Best Appliance Service!

I made the appointment on Saturday June 29th for July 2nd. We verified the address two times with their office that it was within their service area. In fact the office called back telling us they could come Monday if that was better. At the appointment time, they called us to say we were out of their service area and would not be coming to repair our washer. Needless to say, we were very upset as we now have to wait another 5 days to get our washer repaired. The owner texted me back (would not answer the phone) saying that it was their policy not to service the West Loop. Bottom line here is that they made the mistake by agreeing to the appointment, canceled at the last minute, and would not do anything to try to correct the mistake by honoring the service committment. Plus the owner was very rude in his responses by text and the fact that he could not take the time to answer my call (called him four times and it would pick up and then disconnect). I do understand boundries, but they should have told us this at the time of appointment. Let me further say that we told them twice our location even telling them that Fulton was one block North of Lake St.

They found a bad bearing in the motor, and replaced the motor. We had had them out a year before and they found a shorted thermal sensor, and replaced it.

My refrigerator stopped working. They were very nice and able to come out the next day to service it. Ivan came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it! A relay starter device needed replacing. Overall a good experience.

Ivan was very professional and knowledgeable. He identified the issue, replaced a part and fixed the dishwasher quickly. It's running great. I will definitely use them in the future.

Excellent service from beginning to end. I called on a Friday, got a service call Monday within the time quoted, crew of 2 came and spent 1/2 hr.-45 minutes, and they were gone. The price was very reasonable: $109.00, so I would definitely recommend them! BTW, I've had no problems with the dishwasher since.

Ivan evaluated my washing machine, apending almost an hour checking it out, and told me that it would cost too much to fix it, He only charged me for the service call. That was more than fair. I also asked him about suggestions for a new machine and he was very helpful with that.

Very well. Came soon after we called. Performed service in less than an hour.

Last night our clothes dryer stopped heating. I was able to get an appointment for this afternoon. Ivan recognized the problem almost immediately, had the parts required and fixed it in about an hour an a half. He also told me about a restriction in the venting that probably caused the sensors to burn out (I fixed it).
